Yup. Welcome aboard!

Thank you! I just joined The Apartment Block with my puppet nation.
I just have 2 questions (sorry for the trouble).
1) What does it imply for a puppet nation to be active on NS?
2) If it's not too much trouble, could someone please fill the three of us newcomers in on what's happening right now, more or less? Thank you very much!

1 - Just not to let your puppet cease to exist.

2 - In what context? If you mean in the RP, we (PL staff) have found it's easier for newcomers to wait for one of us (Cer, Swith, Min or myself) to have someone introduce new characters. So, no worries. The usual thing is to post your character's arrival in the building's lobby and one of us four will take it from there. *nods*

So, Fvaar, once the characters get to the library, that's when I have my character show up?

Check TG for details; nope.

Tiltjuice wrote:Fvaar - I posted for Dora, but I can redact if my post is throwing off the story a bit.

No problem. I'd somehow totally overlooked the bit affecting Nick. @ALL: disregard earlier "Nick is likely to be stepped on" comment.

Come to the light side.  We have teamwork, waffles, popcorn, grape juice, and way too much ramen.

Unless one is a genealogist, therapist, geneticist, or FBI agent - who is acting within the scope of their job - to claim that anyone is wrong about their own identity is not merely absurd but also extremely rude.

Gio doesn't pull the wonder of her punches. :p

Brings to mind Swith's OOC lecture from a while ago.

P.S. Some songs aren't meant to be covered in different languages.

I was sort of in the position of Torii, actually, except instead of abuse, it was shitty internet relationships.

It makes me feel weird that I have that in common with a character.

Ah, good then.

I 'd be very angry if it were what I thought it was.

:p

It always ends up happening too, everyone but me gets to know things. Not here, but in life in general.

Coming from someone who also has that problem...that's nice.

By which I mean, sometimes those are the rules of the game. My mother keeps things from my grandmother. I keep things from my parents. Big deal. Big web of secrecy; if you can't stand the shadows, go to Scandinavia.

It's not entirely ethical, but meh.

Well that makes sense, but usually it's stuff with my friends. They keep making references to things I've never seen, and whenever I ask, they never tell me.

But yeah, not as bad, still pisses me off though.

Then get new friends or a wider cultural awareness. Problem solved. :p

With me, I'm intuitive enough that if I don't know about it, it's because I wouldn't give a crap about it if I did. I know all I need to.

Nah, but seriously, I'm usually joking when I say that. I'm fine with putting effort into things, just not finding new friends when my current friends are already awesome, except for the fact that they play LoL . . .
