Depends on the person, honestly. I remember the first girl I ever liked. I couldn't get my mind off of her and it used to infuriate my friends because I'd talk about her and whether she noticed or acknowledged me constantly.

Conversely, my old high-school best friend is very quiet about his crushes and only brings them up if we directly ask him.

I don't talk about girls unless it's a serious Bro-Talk.

Serious bro-talks make things weird if they don't sync up. My old friends and I were going to have one with one of our friends whose girlfriend was cheating on him but he thought the talk was gonna be about what he should do for their two year anniversary.

We don't set up serious bro-talks anymore. We just talk and if shit happens it happens.

My group is largely mixed, so there isn't really any "bro" or "girl" talks among us. Everyone just talks.

Yea, serious bro-talks are rare.

And my group would just say to our friend, "Hey, bruh, your hoe's cheatin' on ya." First thing. Honesty is muy importante.

You don't have subgroups in your group? We used to subgroup by gender, common interest, and where we lived. Sometimes we'd discuss stuff not relevant to other people in the group so we'd break off into a subgroup and discuss it privately.

There's kids who know how to properly critique religion and politics, and those who don't.

Bit... blunt. We were trying to let him down gently. He loved this girl enough to quit smoking and drinking for her (and this guy was a pretty heavy smoker), so I wasn't about to give him reason to drop a good influence without doing it gently.

I suppose my friends are two different camps - college and work. The college group will band together to scratch his eyes out, if he's cheated, but the work friends will just roll their eyes. After all, research is more important than anything as insignificant as sex.

Yinz haven't seen my work friends. I think they were regulated to the wall flower position in kindergarten and never recovered. In my college group (comprised of normal human beings), I'm the bland frump. In my work group (pocket protectors never go out of style), I'm the pretty and vivacious one.

I'm frozen until Tilt logs on and posts. It's one of those nights where I'm in the mood for light banter. I can send Rodney to someone, if they're up for it. Just please don't freeze him, too.

Chicken chicken.

@Swith. You're the only non-Asian in the work group.

I'm the kid who wears (and I do wear) leather jackets and dogtags in highschool - the whole Greaser thing - hangs out with some of the bad-but-smart kids, cuss like a sailor, speak out against stupid rules and stupid opinions openly, and bashes the teacher's pets/ rich kids/ Valedicktorians even though I read at a post-college level and am one of the smartest kids in the school.

So I'm the smart underachiever. I guess coming from a poor background also fits with the greaser stereotype.

Also, I'm an honorary black guy.

Yeah... pretty much. I think I'm the only one that can sort their accents well enough for waitresses when we go out to lunch, too.

Seconding.

That would be a cool little thing but would require Drone to be present.

Bran was a special case. The Drones intended to have him retain a bit of himself. The rest would be mindless characters following orders from an overarching authority.

Makes for very boring RP.

Back to work for me. Might swing by later, if I'm able.

Maybe we could have the Drone!chars show up randomly from an alternate universe and start carrying out Drone agendas*? I think, with that, it would be coolest if we agreed on a general plot and some general guidelines/how characters would translate so to speak (eg, Kwa'a is a personification in main canon. It would make sense for her to be taking a significant role in the subjection of Borksmiclen or a similar nation; it would not make sense at all for her to still be a personification) but each got to run our own characters' AU versions.

*With no ability to communicate with any Drone not in Bielefeld, that is.
