Primary Skill or Power: Expert pistol handling

Power Weaknesses/Flaws: Not as proficient in rifles

Secondary Skill or Power: Mechanized Infantry training

Power Weaknesses/Flaws: Not really applicable without her armor

Character Background/Biography: Kelly was the only girl of her kind to see action in the European theater during World War 2. She was attached to the 3rd Armored Division, and rarely saw much action as far as tank-to-tank went, but she did engage and destroy a Tiger II in Dessau, Germany as well as a Panther tank. Command didn't really believe her as Germany didn't deploy that many Tiger II's late in the war. Still, she knew what she saw, and she stuck to her story. She was a hit story among the regular American tank War Mages, since she was the heaviest tank the US produced during the war in terms of armor and armament.

Kelly's school career at War Gears didn't last long after a fiasco about stolen Core, the mineral that was used to help War Mages harness and use the power of their armor, made NATO close it. She went on to spend 2 years in Korea until the US pulled out in 1948. From there, she was picked up by the Central Intelligence Agency, and worked on spying on the Soviets. She learned Russian fluently in her time with them. In 1950, she returned to War Gears after being called there from some of her former classmates. She embarked upon a new mission to retrieve the Core stolen from the US military. Still, she's had her own Core in her for four years, and Core has a nasty tendency to rewrite DNA after a long period of use.

She made a reputation for being able to take down a King Tiger tank, and was recruited by the CIA to be a spy when the time was convenient. We'll see how far her reputation will get her in Bielefeld, though.

I wish he'd bring one into PL. We have Marcus, Barox, Wren, Jorgen, Thaddeus, Calle, Septimus.

Actually, I wish he'd bring back Ocho. He was more weasel than cyborg, but he was hilarious. He only had one ear, and we theorized that he pissed himself off one day and ate the ear out of spite. The character had no concept of human psychology or mannerisms. Someone would always join the RP and look for the biggest guy in the room to pick on to prove how macho he was. They'd pick Ocho because Thade look very fat, docile and slow when they're crouched behind a table. Ocho ate more characters than ANY horror RP I've ever been in. Frikken cheetah speed at full gallop, and they use obstacles as spring boards to go faster.

Slobo, now you're talking my language.

Your NS Nation's Nickname: Cer

Character Name: Ocho Hobart Ono

Character Gender: M

Character Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc): Thade

Character Physical Description (height, weight, apparent age, actual age): 6'4" (squat stance]; 7'9" (full stance), 520 lbs (37 stone), age indeterminable (actual 210, in Earth years). Like all thade, Oco is heavily muscled. This isn't readily apparent as Oco's natural stance is a slouch. His typical posture draws the first forelimb set towards the body while the secondary set rests against his belly. His excess bulk is hidden under thick skin and insulating belly fat. Ocho has the ability to stand fully upright for short periods of time although it taxes his muscles. His fingers are habitually curled under in a loose fist; due to anatomy, the thade hand can not lie completely flat. Thade forehands have retractable claws. Ocho is digitigrade (walks on toes/fingers); the thumb and index toe are located higher on the foot and remain in a curled position and weight is carried by the other three longer digits. The thumb and index toes are the only hind foot digits with retractable claws. He moves deliberately slow although he has blindingly fast reflexes. Ambulation is achieved either by loping along using hind and secondary limbs or else bipedal, their bulk shifting to one side to draw up the opposite leg.

Typical of a rodent or weasel (shut up, Swith), "if he can get his head through it, the body follows". Thade are, despite their mass, very flexible, especially Ocho's species (there are three under the thade genus). They will squeeze their bulk through the openings in seemingly impossible style (if the grotesque shifting of fat and skin can at all be considered stylish). It takes them a moment to recover, and Ocho is limited due to hardware, but sometimes a hole just needs the application of claws and teeth to be widened. Nature compensates for this gift by guaranteeing that the squeezing process is slow. The leading cause of death, secondary to predators, is getting stuck someplace awkward and starving.

Ocho is brownish-grey in coloration, with grey spots dappling his spine and shoulders. His eyes are dark blue (nearly black). He keeps them nearly hidden behind lids and cheek skin to protect them from light. This squint sometimes leads people to believe he's dense. All thade lack fur/hair. His is missing his left ear, which is readily apparent given the overly large size of its remaining companion.

All thade are carnivorous. All are also scavengers. They do not eat sapient beings although they will eat enemy (and friendly) dead soldiers, a behavior instinct necessary on their homeworld due to the large amount of natural predators. Thade are some of the lowest members of the food chain, no larger than voles or shrew compared to everything else. They make up for it in tenacity and with venom.

They are practically blind in light, but navigate through echolocation and electrolocation (receptors located on face); cybernetic enhancements allow them some visual ability in light but its for the purpose of tool use rather than navigation and targeting.

Cybernetics: in a world where everything around you eats everything else, thade adapted their technology to enhance their physical performance in order to survive. Ocho's augmentations include a left limb and left eye (eye and ear were lost at the same time, the missing ear was replaced by gear built into the skull to compensate).

Temperament: He's patient unless challenge is pushed. Physical challenge is met with aggression, although the aggression begins with warning growls and hisses. Ignored threat warnings are met with violence and, as is his right, he will smear the walls with his transgressor's blood and entrails to serve as a warning to any foolish enough to follow suit.

Intelligence: he's very quit witted but is often mistaken as stupid due to his narrowed eyes and quiet demeanor. Part of this is Ocho simply not giving a fuck, and part of it is that you expend less energy ambushing something than you do chasing it down. His knowledge is limited to only what his species knows, and his trade, although he's expanded that since his arrival in this dimension.

Faults to balance out physical power: it takes a metric fuckton of food to keep him alive. Like rodents or weasels (shut up, Swith), he eats constantly. This puts him at a disadvantage in his current setting: thade do not habitually consume food in front of others. Blame NS and its PG13 cap. His mass further hinders him. His particular species is quasi-arboreal, but the native trees seldom support his weight. It taxes his body to walk distances on a flat surface; he frequently chews at his joints to break up accumulating fluid.

To be fair, also, my intent wasn't to permanently interrupt. I needed to have him come in the back door because A) I needed to establish that he came from the Ruins, B) The back hall leads to the bowels, and he needs to get a whiff of the Nifid, and C) Rodney's by the front window.

Swith was going to be online to RP out some dialog between the two, but she's feeling sick tonight. That part will have to wait.
