As the carriage came within range, Erich could not help but hesitate killing the second most powerful man of his homeland. After all, Bismarck intentions were for the benefit of Germany. Erich then slung his rifle around his back and quickly dashed towards the carriage. The driver, looked astonished. He didn't think anything of it, though, considering having a trip that long would make a man see some sort of quick illusions. Erich grabbed onto the top of the carriage, then to avoid detection from the driver, climbed to the back. Bismarck thought nothing of it since it's fairly normal for rocks or debris to hit the carriage from the horses hooves galloping on the dirt. After Erich was certain the driver wasn't looking, he climbed to the side of the carriage and opened the door.
"Guten Tag, Herr Bismarck."
"Who the hell are you!?" Shouted Bismarck.
"Feldwebel Wolfram, Light Infantry of the Prussian Army."
Erich then bowed to Bismarck, and showed his Iron Cross.
"A soldier, eh? Well, what do you need? I'm on my way back to Berlin right now."
