Duvalier finished his tea as Bismarck departed his residence. He had an uneasy feeling, as if the Assassins would soon intensify their efforts to bind him to their leash. If Bismarck accepted his offer, than the plan would proceed smoothly. If he joined the Assassins though, Duvalier didn't want to think about it. It would be very bad, and would be very messy for everyone. As Duvalier finished his tea two of his most loyal Templar servants stood in front of him. "The Kitten" stood poised and ready for orders. Beside him stood Amran Rouchfort, another of his personal agents.
"I believe that our friend Queen Victoria's plan to send the Assassins to South America is bearing fruition. Go to South America and meet with an officer named Jorge Sanchez. "Yes master." the hulking man said before quickly departing. "Rouchfort, your job will require far more than just muscle. As you know tensions are slowly stirring in Europe. Time for step one of the plan. Go to Austria and introduce yourself to Count Beust. He is a fellow Templar. He will have orders for you. May the father of understanding guide us."
"May the father of understanding guide us." Rouchfort replied. Then he too departed for his destination.

Hearing the sounds of a whining horse and a man cursing, Oskar quickly realized his error. While he had been busy scolding his fellow Templars, the target had slipped away. "Damnit!" he yelled, "Kill the Assassin, but do it cleanly--we must not damage the package!" He and his companions bolted out of the inn, already drawing pistols as they heard the sound of a horse galloping away. Oskar narrowed his eyes in deadly concentration, struggling to make out the silhouette of a single rider speeding down the road. He fired a single shot with his revolver, missing his shot by several feet but hopefully startling the Assassin's horse.

As he and his fellow Templars gave chase on their own steeds, Oskar knew that if the Assassin were to cross the German border, the Apple would be lost. He would be in hostile territory with limited support and essentially no plan. That meant that the Assassin needed to be dealt with now, before it was too late.

Slamming his spurred heels into his horse's flanks, Oskar urged the beast to move faster. The animal screamed in pain but picked up its pace, and soon Oskar was within 100 m of his target. Again he fired at the Assassin's head, and again his shot missed (although by a much smaller margin this time). When he tried to take another shot, however, his pistol jammed. Oskar snarled in frustration; his firearm never jammed--this truly wasn't his day. Holstering the gun, he drew his saber and stuck the point into his horse, not enough to seriously wound the animal, but certainly enough to cause incredible pain. Again, his horse brayed with anguish, but again he succeeded in closing in on his prey. Pulling to within, five feet of his target. Oskar gingerely took his feet out of the stirrups, slowly crouched on his horse's back, and launched himself through the air at his opponent. With a mighty (and, as Oskar's entire body told him, quite painful) crash, he tackled the Assassin off of his steed.

"Your time is up, Assassin!" he roared as they both tumbled towards the hard ground.

"SHITE!" Alexander said as he and the Templar tumbled off Gordon, he didn't waste anytime, he got off the man, struggling to gain an advantage, unsheathing his Cavalry Saber, he strikes the man's shoulder, hoping to disorient his movements.

Oskar Brandt, Agent of the Knights Templar

Perhaps leaping from a moving horse and tackling a man from another moving horse hadn't been the greatest tactic. Oskar felt hot pain in his shoulder as the Assassin stumbled to his feet and slashed him with his cavalry sword.

"Fuck!" he groaned in pain, before drawing his own sword. The wound hurt like hell, but it wouldn't save the Assassin from his fate. Hopefully, the fellow Templars would arrive in a minute or so.

With an upward slash, Oskar grazed the Assassin's chest. He then followed this attack with a swift kick to the Assassin's knee.

"Damn!" Alxander grunted, His knee felt weird, almost dislocated, but he shouldered on, he strike at an opening, slashing diagonally to the right, throwing the Saber off the Templar, he didn't have time for this. He used his left leg, which was unharmed, to kick the Templar's knees. "That should distract you long enough" He said, just loud enough to be heard. He turned back, seeing the double figures of two men on horseback, "Shite!" He cursed, before jumping on Gordon, he threw a smoke bomb on his trail.

Oskar fell to the ground, his knees throbbing in pain. He heard the sound of his men approaching and smirked--the Assassin may be crafty, but he couldn't take on 3 Templars at once. Suddenly, his lungs were filled with smoke and his vision became a blur. Oskar choked, only too late realizing that the damn jackal had used a smoke bomb to cover his escape. The Templars' horses were caught in the blast, and one of them bucked its rider off as it brayed with fear. The Templar was thrown to the ground with a loud crunch, his leg clearly broken. With one last desperate move, Oskar grabbed the man's revolver from him, ignoring his comrade's screams of pain, and fired the entire clip after the Assassin.

Six shots rang out in the night, and then there was complete silence, save for the whimpers of the Templar on the ground. Oskar stood, staring into the darkness, completely at a loss for words. He had never failed a mission before, and here he was fucking up the most important assignment he had ever been given. The Master would not be pleased.

Flinging the spent revolver onto the ground, Oskar trudged back to his men. Without a word, he got on his horse, and rode off into the darkness. The ride home would be long and somber, but Oskar swore that he would never know the taste of defeat again. Next time, he'd rip the Assassin's heart out and tear the flesh from his bones.

Washington
General Grant rides into the Capitol to discuss means of Reconstruction with President Johnson, a man who he hated. As he rides into the city, a crowd awaits him, cheering and waving the Union flag as Hail Columbia is play'd by a band. "I forgot what it was like to be a hero" he thinks.

As he nears the White House, a hooded man walks in front of him, "Get out of the Way!" Grant yells, but the man begins to speak

Baltimore,Maryland

Lowell was now just feet away from the house he became completely focused on the house looking to see all doors and windows that he could use as an escape. He pulled out his Colt Dragoon Revolver and slowly went for the back door. Each sound made him nervous he looked around at every noise and then he was there at the back door he took a deep breath and busted through it.The door broke and Lowell entered, the ground floor was empty but he heard rustling coming upstairs so he rushed up.Halfway up a shot rang out hitting above Lowell's head.

"I knew one of you would come for me...You won't get ME!!"The courier yelled at the Templar."Just peak your little head out"

Lowell was sitting on the staircase waiting for his time to strike. Two more shots rang out then he heard the thing he wanted to hear.

"Dammit my gun is jammed!"the Courier said not realizing that was the wrong words to say.Lowell popped up and fired his pistol in the Couriers shoulder."AAGG"He yelled as he dropped to the floor.

Lowell was glad that it was over but he still needed to question him about where the assassins in the city.He went up to the Courier and asked for the location of the assassins pointing his pistol at his head."I only deliver messages I don't know where they live."He said.
"Where do you deliver your messages then."Lowell asked.
"Friday at 9:12 24th street at the alley of the general store..Don't kill me please."He pleaded
Lowell had all the information he needed and didn't like killing unarmed men so instead gave him a warning.
"Here is the deal. When the officials get here you say this was a robbery and if I ever hear you say another word about the Templars and trust me I will know you will never see another thing,Got it."
"Yes thank you kind sir never again will I say anything." The courier said
Lowell got up and left but not without taking stuff to make it look like a robbery.Lowell finished his first solo mission and knew where one assassins would be.

Alexander grunted, in a weird mixture of pain and victory. On one hand, his right knee was dislocated, but he won, he survived! Reality soon came crashing as he remember the words of those drunk templars. Ambjorn was dead. Alexander tried again and again to convince himself that his friend, that huge boy who stole bread, and beat up 5 storeowners far larger than even him. Those days training under Mentor Dmitri. It was gone, he would never see him again. His body 6 feet under, tucked away in the Siberian Wastelands.

Alexander felt a tear running down his cheek. 'A tear, huh' he thought, chuckling sadly, "How long has it been, eh Gordon?" he asked his old friend, his War horse, to which a mere whine was his only respond. "They'll pay!" He whispered angrily to himself, turning the sorrow to anger and vengeance. He slapped Gordon's rear, something he hasn't had to do in a long time, and the horse knew it. The horse and his master galloped through the night, making speed towards Copenhagen.

Boston - October 21, 1866

The ship arrived in Boston early in the morning, and Catherine had all her things off the ship by noon. Here she is, in the land of her dreams. The land she dreamed of being in since she was a child. She looked into the city of Boston with the eyes of hope. Her mind returned to the task at hand, she needed to find the Assassin Hideout. She, however, did not want to. She wanted to bask in the glory of the land of the free. She wanted to go to the heart of the nation, Washington DC.

She headed to the outskirts of town and found a carriage for hire. "I would like to hire your carriage for a trip to Washington DC, I don't have much American currency but I'll offer you what I have." She said, hoping the carriage driver would take the offer.
He stared at her for a moment and then said "hop in."
Catherine immediately placed her items in the carriage and proceeded to "hop in" as they say. On to Washington.

Catherine grasps her belongings and quickly makes haste to the train station, only stopping to say: "Thank you again Mr. Grant!"

She quickly boards the train and it makes way to Cincinnati. She looks out of a window and sees the city of Washington DC and watches as it fades in the distance. She soon realizes that she needs to write a letter to the head of the American Assassins. She pulls a pen, one she got in DC, and piece of paper from her luggage and proceeds to put pen to paper.

Dear leader of the American Assassins,

I am a fellow Assassin who has come to America from Europe. I will keep this very brief. I would like to let you know that I am here as an Assassin and that I will follow your commands as you are the leader of the Brotherhood here. I look forward to further correspondence with you.

Faithfully yours,
CP

Catherine will have the note sent when she arrives in Cincinnati. But in the meantime, she needs rest.

Clarence glanced to his left and spotted one of his Assassins carrying a letter to him. "Come Along General, We have business to discuss."

Four Years Later - November 1, 1870

Tensions between France and Germany would escalate over the years. Otto Von Bismarck's diplomatic policies of playing the European powers off one another, as well as his struggle to ensure Prussian dominance over Central Europe lead to several diplomatic incidents. Unbeknownst to everyone, is that the ancient orders of the Assassins and Templars were behind these events as well. Perhaps the most notable was a brief crisis over Luxembourg. When France tried to buy Luxembourg, they met resistance from Prussia. It was the Templars Amran Rouchfort and Count Beust who negotiated the peace agreement. This left France and Germany at odds with each other, which would ensure they would go to war.

That war finally happened in 1870. Bismarck himself engineered the conflict, and hoped on the strength of the Prussian military. Supporting him are Templar elements across Europe, from within France to leaders of the Prussian military itself. The Assassins risk losing the European stronghold of France, and desperately try to win influence in Germany.

Cane had searched for four years trying to find Marx. He searched England, Ireland, and Wales. That only left one destination, Scotland. Cane ran along the roofs to the nearest stable. When he came to the stable he climbed down and walked in. The smell was horrible but that was normal for stables. He asked the man who he presumed owned it "How much for your fastest horse here?". "50 pounds" the man said. Cane reached into his wallet then asked " Will 48 do?". The man replied "no". Cane extended his hidden blade so where it almost touched the man's neck and demanded "48 will do". "O o o of Course Sir..." the man replied nervously. Cane put the blade back in and replied "Thank you" then went to the horse. Cane climbed on the horse's saddle and rode out of the Stable towards Scotland.

Berlin-November 1, 1870

Ignatz Kramer smiled as he read the newspapers. Finally, Germany is coming to fruition. All we need is just one more push... he thought to himself. Three years ago, Ignatz Kramer had returned to Prussia from the colony of New Prussia, bestowed with honors from the Prince-Chancellor and the King himself. Now, he was a General of the Prussian Army, a Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, and the mayor of the colonial capital of Waldreich. All in all, he was a very successful man. He had, with the help of various Templar business partners, invested into the colony's success, seizing business contracts to give the colony some worth - after all, there was not much in Northern Somalia that could be used. But Ignatz was not entirely happy.

When he had returned, he had realized that Bismarck had begun to test him, test his loyalties to Prussia, to Germany. Of course he did not object to Prussian soldiers not under his command to be stationed in Waldreich. "After all," he had responded to Bismarck, "that just means I can send my troops out to take care of any threats to the colony," he had said with a smile. But all the while, Kramer knew something wasn't right. He couldn't put a finger on it, but it seemed very fishy. No matter. He had business to attend to. Tensions between Prussia and France were high and soon, Bismarck would call upon Kramer and the other generals of the army to move in for the kill...

Washington- November 1, 1870
President Grant walked up and down the White House corridors, he knew sooner or later the Templars or Assasins would try to leverage him on to their side. He saw the portraits of Washington, Jefferson and the man who made him well known across the country, Lincoln. He thought to himself "Just six years ago, I would be meeting Lincoln and his cabneit to discuss the war.". He saw Catherine, one of his servants who basicly became part of his family, he walked up to her and asked "Catherine, do you know of two ogranizations' called the Brotherhood and the Templars?"
