Ah. Well, to each their own. In my mind Saruman would be eager to convince the Council that it was a lesser Ring, as then he would not be perceived as at risk of corruption, and the ring would likely be turned over to him due to his extensive Ring-lore.

That occurred to me right after I posted. xD Regardless of my actions though and the rules metagaming would have occurred by someone to keep the ring out of Saruman's hands. This way its simpler for everybody. Besides there was always the chance that Gandalf would opt to let the hobbits keep the ring if he thought it was lesser ring.

Certainly. Just take into account how much manpower you have, how extensive your fortress will be, and guesstimate.

You said i could use those forces, there are only 3,000 orcs according to Liech, so there's no need for any aid...

Yah, I'm building two fortress one towards Moria and one towards Dol Guldur. But taking the stone from the Misty Mountains will take a long time. Make sure you keep in mind how long it should take. For me they said about 10-15 IC pages. Any one know how I can get the stone faster or anyone I can but it from?

Pfah, G knows the art of war. He makes dangerous targets seem easy, and easy targets he makes hard. If he says that, we can be sure we can attack him straight on. Those halls and corridors are ideal for the Elven shield war. We have two Istari, and Elven lords on both sides. We'll be fine.
