Bearon wrote:en't really doing RPing two major factions. If you want to make up a good band of heroes, for instance, that's cool, but if you want to RP the Dwarves of the Blue Mountains and Saruman, less so.

I understand why RP'ing 2 major factions if they were both good or both bad wouldn't be ok but these two would be opposite and as Saruman none of the forces of good know I'm evil anyways though I wouldn't have a problem sending reinforcements against myself as another faction not that I see that happening anytime soon due to Saruman keeping his head low and not doing anything suspicious.[/quote]

Hmm, well, that is a fair point. After discussing it with Liec, it'd be fine if you want to RP both a canon good and canon evil faction; however, Gondor Liec wants to keep with Elerian, since he's invested in it.

Good since I specifically wanted to do any other faction then Gondor. If I went against you I probably wouldn't even exist anymore.

Yay! I get to keep Gondor! (For all the good it'll do me)

G I also still need to know the place where the bandits are for my quest? Also how many men should I send this time?

I'd suggest Dale. Or if Elves/Dwarves are your thing then Mirkwood or Erebor would be a solid choice. Besides that you could be a good Dunland? ;)

The Mouth of the Greyflood. As far as men; hmm, a few hundred would be good. The brigands are in numbers, but not excessively well equipped.

Oh Liec before I forget I want to really thank you for the idea which I use now which is quests. I had never thought to do that before in my own RP's and when they got really long with only one plot people just usually left so I'd been struggling on figuring out how to keep people's interest for a long time. The quests have not only helped keep my current RP going but have allowed it to thrive. I would have never thought adding such a simple mechanic to the game could be so useful but it is and I have like 8 plots going on right now. Did you come up with it yourself or did you get it from somewhere else?

And G-tech, how long should my quest take? It seems like I'm just finding more signs of the Avari going north. Any idea of a reward?

Oh nah, just ask for details and you can post as you see fit once your men get there.

The Starlight wrote:And G-tech, how long should my quest take? It seems like I'm just finding more signs of the Avari going north. Any idea of a reward?

Well, you've only posted three times about the quest, so it really hasn't been a very long one. Currently, as you go north, you should encounter some camps of the Lossoth; speak to them, and after slaying a great Snow-beast they will tell you of the fate of the Avari who once came to their lands.

Sure! This sounds a lot like one of those LOTRO campaigns I used to watch where the character went to the Snowmen of Forocheland discovered the fate of King Arvedui, who had been trapped there...

Just part of the army, that was holding back with the catapults and whatnot outside the walls. All in my Archive; sorry, I haven't been exactly flush with posting time recently, so I haven't been RPing out every detail unless the focus of the post.

You em didn't post that in the forces at the start of the fight. I seem to recall there never being any Warg riders when I looked at your forces when the battle started.

Oh? Hm, I recruited them in Eastern Anorien, oh, four IC pages ago or something like that. After I built an Orc Pit there. I only posted the 5000 attacking the wall, I think.

I'm talking about that little forces spoiler that has your soldier numbers within them. Also I don't know what you mean by the 5000 attacking the wall?

Also if you could think of a quest for Gondor that'd be nice. Preferably one that gives a lot of troops.

Yes, it is in the appendices, I was just referencing LOTRO, some of it is based from the books. I've never played it before either.
