Ah, so they aren't planting anywhere near the river? My bad then. I didn't say siege weapons wouldn't be able to fire across the Anduin; it isn't that wide, after all. I merely noted that firing siege weapons from the western bank of the Anduin wouldn't be able to reach the Tower of the Eyes, as the Tower wasn't built aggressively near the river, due to poor foundation soil.

I have to first make contact with you as I can't just send them for no reason. We need to make the deal in the IC along with in the OOC.

Yeah, well, I can't send anybody. Just send some explorers along the river and you will eventually find me.

Don't really need to explore when I have crow patrols. Already sent some emissaries.

I've looked at the map, and the Shire is closer to Imladris than Isengard. Also, the Shire is connected by a large road. Isengard is not. The thousand Warg army could never have reached Gandalf before he reached Rivendell.

Through the gates of the partially-finished fortress they stomped, a half dozen trolls and a few hundred Orcs. They set about looking for the lord of this rapidy-expanding Orcish dominion, to offer him their swords, for they had been sent by the Dark Lord of the East.

Yah, where did this come from G-tech? I know Jordslag asked for them OOC but they can't all of a sudden appear at his fortress. He would first have to get in contact with you, and then you would have to post about them marching. I don't think 6 trolls and a few hundred orcs would be unnoticed by everyone.

Well, I posted about them walking past the Wizard's Vale via the eaves of Fangorn, and nobody responded to that. From there's it's just straight shot across southern Dunland and some unclaimed territory to Isengaruk. As far as why, rumors reached the captains in the Emyn Muil of a large Orc band near the mouth of the Isen; those forces were sent to either bring them into fold of Sauron, or aid them in their endeavors.

It seems like everyone is just walking through Rohan now, since the RPer isn't online a lot, though he does come on sometimes.

Star I'm building a fortress and pit in Southern Fangorn. The men of Tharbad would have to fight the orcs and goblins that I sent. Oh and they're already there and with news of the new Orc band near the Isen you'd likely believe it's them or a force from the Misty Mountains.

A thousand wargs need lots of food and drink, and so do a thousand Uruks. Yes, Wargs travel faster than a thousand men on foot, and they travel faster than that cart on smaller distances. Over multiple days, however, an army needs rest, needs to make camp. They need fire wood, a lot of meat for the carnivorous Wargs, and a river to give enough water for man and beast. An army of your size travels a lot slower than you think.

I guess it doesn't matter then as the Misty Mountains are blocked off and so is everywhere around Rivendell due to Wargs. ;P
