Could we suggest our idea to the Turians, and then they send the idea to the Council?

Can I actually be called "Helghan", or do I have to do something else, since that is from another game?
You can be called whatever you want. (Within reason) So if you wish to have a faction that revolves around that then go for it. You just won't get any points for creativity.

I think Istan said you have to do some sort of thing called an "expy" or something when referencing games or other media?

When he was talking about the expy he just said he didn't like them because they were just bringing something from another game where it doesn't belong.

It's more than that. I dislike blatant expies because they denigrate the quality of the roleplay, provide for lazy faction imagination, and overall make things less fun not only for the people forced to deal with the canon-breaking expies, but also for the user of the expy. One of the best parts of any game is originality. If you want to combine elements from other universes with what you do here, that's perfect. I love it. Art and theft are the same. However, if you simply transplant then I'll get more than a little bit pissed.

So would it be wrong of me to establish an Inquisition branch after establishing the Empire? and instead of SpecTRes I employ Inquisitors?
