Its a step above normal Korea thats for sure, but why would they suddenly agree with a nation known for slavery and even worse xenophobia than the New Alliance government?

Because the Alliance government is Terr Firma on steroids, and has made it very clear that Humanity is a bunch of a-holes?

That's because most of the time it does. Every ship destroyed when you're fighting each other is one less for me to destroy.
