Just to point it out, in canon it takes four simultaneous dreadnought hits to strip the shields on a Sovereign-class Reaper. Imagine what it would to to a surprised dreadnought crewed mainly by etappenschwein (AKA REMFs AKA fat actionless backwater garrison troops) with a combat readiness rating of zero.

Just to point it out, in canon it takes four simultaneous dreadnought hits to strip the shields on a Sovereign-class Reaper. Imagine what it would to to a surprised dreadnought crewed mainly by etappenschwein (AKA REMFs AKA fat actionless backwater garrison troops) with a combat readiness rating of zero.

Glad these guys arn't backwater garrison troops, just placed the 1st fleet there so it seemed like they were doing something.

So far the Illium sidelines score sheet for combat effectiveness and legal strategy reads as so.

Humans: 3.5, caught unawares by a more dominant fleet and did not immediately withdraw, kept themselves between a garden world and the enemy fleet.
Batarians: 5.8, Firing mass accelerators towards a Garden World, use of formations and enhanced sensors to create a slight advantage.

Heavy Cruisers are also not particularly dodgy - it's all but impossible to dodge a projectile travelling at 0.001c - but they build faster.
