A man a decade or so older then Vader was levitating in their way. Perhaps a native to these universe? The most likely explanation was that this was a new being that has stepped into the fray. This one in particular was demanding that they halt. Darth Vader assumed this was some military official judging from his dialogue, uniform, and eye patch. He could be protecting this city from threats.
"We do not wish to harm this city. My name is Darth Vader, this is The Iron Giant and Gary."

Asumar, who sensed the presence of Sanji, Ryaku, and Myaku half way across the earth, more specifically Russia replied "I think we can get that answer soon." Asumar replied as he said that through the Mind Link as well.

Slate grabbed the nuke and threw it out of orbit, he then flew over and caught the nuke heading for Rome, he saw that the words on the side were in Russian and flew to the Kremlin with the nuke. He landed right behind Lenin and Putin and said "I believe this is your nuke?"

Superman felt the universe shift. It had happened so many times now that he had an instinct that told him this was a new world. He heard the screaming as the nukes landed in the U.S.A. He took a look at them from orbit and noticed their origin. Russia. He flew down towards the Masakis. Perhaps they could tell him what was going on with that 'force' of theirs. It seemed to conveniently do whatever else they needed at the time.

About three quarters of his face was missing, revealing the mechanical workings underneath. He had two large plasma rifles stored on his back, and several portions of his outer covering ripped off, showing his robotic endoskeleton. "Gentlemen. I do hope I haven't intruded on anything of impportance."
