Basically, China tries to integrate their colonies into China proper by applying the same administrative system and centralizing the whole lot (regions had no power, while prefectures (those with the numbers) had some, but all the real power was concentrated in Beijing). Long story, it failed, and China adopted OTL Spanish-style autonomy for Mongolia, Manchuria, Qurighar (Dzungaria), and Tibet (as well as China proper) in 1967.

After the war, Scholkine/Qazan Tip will be like this French town: abandoned and a memorial to the futility of war. The town will be rebuilt due east of the original town (OTL location of Scholkine) and actually become a port of entry. That said, Crimea will have a bridge linking it and Russia (the Ukrainian-Crimean border will only open again in 2001, prior to that; the only to enter was by ship or plane, or by bridge via Russia).

So um, I'm very confused with whats transpired in the IC thus far, as I've had to OP my own RP. (I am balancing this one and that one as my only two RP's). So what should I be aware of before I make my opening posts as Brazil, Al-Andalus (Morocco) and Spain, and thus continue posting as Afghanistan and possibly Norway?

No. The CSA has already claimed Steve Jobs and Apple. Microsoft is claimed by Canada, and so is IBM. Check one of my earlier posts (search this topic for Microsoft). Steve is going to have the same shite life he had OTL, at least, that's what Ruri's said.
