Also, Lingang showed no interest in claiming Egypt, and I haven't seen this Kelo guy post anything recently.

If Kelo hasn't been around, then you two need to work on egypt. You also wouldn't control all of that. I made Egypt larger to compensate.

Can the Claims look like this? Lingang controls most of Egypt, I have cyprus and I have a bit more of the Caucasus?

If Egypt isn't an independent state, then no one can control those extra lands beyond the purple claims.

Nah, son. Britain was all like "yo, why my colonies be all uppity an' shit?!" And Lord Durham laid it straight: "they be wantin' legislation with representation, dawg."

Then it'll be independent. Lingang didn't claim Egypt in the first place.

The Suez is within the purple. And it's okay, there's tonnes of oil in the Caucasus.

That's right, I didn't claim Egypt. I only want Greece (and Cyprus)

Nation Name: United Kingdom of Hellan(Greece)
Flag:
Image

Symbols: the Olive leaf

Population-homeland: 7,899,234

Population-colonial: N/A

Location/Claims: Greece, Crete, West Turkey, Cyprushttp://i.imgur.com/6RKcNZ7.png

Capital City: Athens

Government Type: Constitutional Monarchy

Ideology: Free Trade, Capitalism/private enterprise, Secularism, Democracy, Greek Unionism

Leader/s: President Alen Carpus

Economy: The economy of Hellan is growing due to industrialization and trade. The industrial revolution and the recent inclusion of Free Market policies have allowed for rapid economic growth. Free Market policies have been welcomed in Hellan, and as a result private enterprise has soared, allowing for the introduction of big business. Mass production has also rapidly changed the nation, allowing for more valuable items to be produced quicker.

Infrastructure: Very Developed. Due to being an old nation, Hellan is also very urban. A network of roads connects most cities. A series of ferries exists between the numerous islands under Hellanic control, making quick travel between them easy.

Army: Not as numerous or strong as other nations, but very well trained, especially for mountainous regions. Around 78,000 men.

Navy: The navy is much stronger than the army, as Hellan has a long naval history. Around 50 ships in the navy.

Goals:
Keep the Kingdom intact, increase influence and allies.
Protect Hellanic territory
Modernization/industrialization

History:
2100 BC- Earliest known records of Hellanic peoples
510 BC- Ancient Hellanic civilization arises
480-370- Hellan is a large cultural influence, idea of democracy emerges
340 BC- Hellan controls much of the Eastern Mediterranean, including Anatolia. Hellan also has cultural influences in Egypt.
289-200 BC- Hellanic influence begins to wane
285 AD- Hellan under control of the Byzantine Empire
1100- Hellan falls under Bulgarian control after Bulgarian invasion of Byzantine
1790- Hellan(Greece) gains independence from Carpathia(Bulgaria)
1792- The United Kingdom of Hellan is founded.
1800- The ideas of Democracy finally spread to the Hellanic mainland.
1812- A (bloodless)Coup d'état occurs, and the monarchy is abolished.
1813- The first elections are held in Hellan, and the first President is sworn into office.
1830-1850- Hellan, despite general optimism within the nation, experiences a period of economic turbulence. In 1849, Hellan falls into recession.
1850- Hellanic South Europe gains independence, limiting the homeland solely to Hellan.
1872- Industrialization brings new technologies into the nation. And with it came new jobs, improving economic conditions.
1900-Present day- Seeing the success of the independent nations, the regions of Western Anatolia and Southern Hellan continually petition the government for independence, and are rapidly growing impatient...

Well, since Austria left the tetrarchy on friendly terms, most of that food should still be going to you.

@Emerald;

The Dutch don't really exist. There are two other cultures in Britannia - the Frisii and the Batavi - who control various areas of the Netherlands. Calvinism also doesn't exist, unless someone else created it.

The Frisii aren't Frisians. The Frisii are an ancient tribe who basically were forced to retreat from their homeland due to flooding. The modern Frisians aren't related to the Frisii, they just inhabit similar areas.
