Well, me and my dad just had a HUGE argument after what happened last night.

Well, my dad put his hands round my neck in a threatening tone, i admittedly said things to my mum which i shouldn't have. Although i didn't swear at her, or insult her. My dad said he'd killed me, and knock me out if i called said 'thanks mate' in response to him calling me a 'fucking (insert insult here) I'm only FOURTEEN years old, and i'm just not sure what to do.

He apologised, an hour ago, i just wasn't ready to accept it however, as the incident happened 24 hours earlier. I'm in the wrong, i do regret it, but i'm just not ready to apologise yet.

I told him. "An apology doesn't cut it, as it happened a day ago, how do i know you won't do it again?" he replied. "I've told you myself, i won't do it again" although, i just don't take that at face value, as it happened 28 hours ago. He also replied before this. "What do you mean, doesn't cut it?" and i interpreted that as him deliberately misunderstanding me.

I said, "You one won't raise a finger to an adult, but you have no qualms raising it to children" he agreed.

In the end, he said, "good night dickhead" so i replied, "You fucking arsehole" before going upstairs. Here's hoping, he doesn't beat the crap out of me when he comes to bed.

To be fair to my old man though, he's not a child abuser, he did it because truthfully, i wound him up, by being snarky and rude by answering "thanks for the compliment, mate" whenever he swore at me, or said "You always cause problems"

Ironically it is. And justification doesn't meant that's not child abuse. While I'll let you settle that, do you mind changing your post by removing the quoted part?

You've got to accept his apology, he's your father. You'll be living with him for at least 4 more years so you'll have to get over it. As long as he's not constantly abusing you, then you're fine.

Would you be okay with that compromise? This way you can all RP? You can all say you have solid claims to each other with the Greek kingdom, Byzantium, and New Byzantium (in Egypt). I think it'd be interesting.

If Kelo hasn't been around, then you two need to work on egypt. You also wouldn't control all of that. I made Egypt larger to compensate.
