That is part of the United Kingdom, so no. Plus the Irish army has always been historically well shit. The IRA was good at being terrorists, sure. But the army itself is not known for being remotely good. Any invasion would be put down immediately and you'd lose to the British easily. Plus, you are the government of Ireland, not the IRA. The IRA is a terrorist/rebel group, not the government, thankfully.

I know, but I am compromising my personality in order to make sure we get a good UK player. And it is clear that Karg was not willing to go to the sites, was not willing to completely edit things that needed editing, and was waiting for me to hand him everything he needed to edit into his app. I am not looking for a UK I will have to micromanage with detailing the smaller aspects of their government. I would just RP the UK if I wanted that. Is it a dick move? Sure. Will I go back on it? Only if Karg writes a really, really, really good sample post that will be the same standard as most of his IC posts. In my six years playing nationstates, I have learned that I can judge people by their application. And there are some who I can give second chances to, but they still do not pick up their slack. Karg cannot be the UK, but he can stay on as Norway.

It isn't that you don't partake in RPs, it is what you post in those RPs that he is taking into account.

I mean it is the whole presentation of the thing. You have to make it look pretty and fill it with detail at the same time.

I don't see how he can. Canada was still fiercely loyal to the Crown and really always had been.

I doubt that Kry will allow that though.

I'd say maybe some parts of Canada would, but some of the more conservative areas and Quebec likely wouldn't go along. It'd take several decades and would have some long-lasting social difficulties, but I think it could happen.

@Benian: Head of State would be the President, Head of Government would be Taoseich (sorry about spelling), military size down to 10,000.
