THE BATTLE OF US HIGHWAY 64

Private First Class Preston ran hard across the road to duck behind a overturned car. He slammed a magazine into his R91 and screamed "SUPRESSING!" He rapidly fired towards the bandits down the road, hitting 1 in the thigh, throwing him onto his back. The second was hit through the throat, his scream echoing across the wastes. He heard a spinning nosie and grinned wildly when he figured out it was a Gatling laser shooting its deadly red beams out and across the open highway slaughtering many tribals who had no idea to duck away from it right away. " FIX BAYONETS!" Came the call."THESE BASTARDS ARE THINNED OUT, IF WE CHARGE NOW WE CAN TAKE 'EM OUT NOW, AND END THIS PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A BATTLE!" The captain screamed loudly. Preston quickly placed his bayonet on the end of his R91, then he tossed the smoke grenade as the frontline men were supposed too. Standing up and giving a feral scream, he charged into the smoke, hitting a tribal 3 feet in. He swung his bayonet down, slashing his unprotected chest, then he drove it in. He could hear the grunts of his fellow frontline men. He barely heard the tribal that stabbed him through the gut, the force of the blow knocking him to the dirt. He hurriedly grasped for his N99 pistol, barely getting it and getting the shot off, before the tribal finished him off. He fell into unconsciousness shortly after he heard the whoops of victory from his teammates.

Actions- My Guys patrol the US Highway 64 now, and patrol It heavily.

FARMINGTON : CAPITAL CITY OF THE FEDERATION

Daniels day went as it always did. Daniel was an engineer and his job was to work on the wall, which was slowly approaching the point where metal plating could be put on, after which cement could be poured in. The 20 foot tall support beams were from a mixture of beams from tall buildings to short stout buildings from throughout the city. Daniel loved his job, just yesterday, he'd gotten to put in the 2 turrents at the front gate, 2 mark IV turrents used only by vaults with special government funding. Besides the turrents, guards wearing reinforced combat armor and using laser weapons would guard the city gates from any and all threats. The wall had been Daniels main focus lately, after they finished turning the old high school into a military academy, outfitted with a weapons range and a drilling field. That was were most new recruits were to be trained, but alas, the influx of recruits had been 0 for the last 3 weeks. Daniel had considered telling his brother to put a wide radio transmission out calling for 25-50 recruits for the Federation Armed forces. But he'd refused saying : That's not my call to make little bro, The feds will tell me when to do that." He sighed, he couldn't join the Armed forces as long as he was an engineer. They needed every engineer they could get, even if it meant stagnating the flow of recruits.

The North Desert Expedition Team

There were two teams that were sent out to try and find places to trade or to expand if its worth it. The North Desert Expedition Team was sent to the north outside of El Paso to the surrounding towns that were once populated and go beyond to find the routes best suited for travel. Most of the towns that were around the north of El Paso, like Anthony or Canutillo, were pretty much abandoned, and picked clean and mostly have signs that some tries in reestablishing a settlement before being dead for all that was left were bones and skeletons. The Team was a moving convoy with horsemen and a few dozen men with the normal caravan and Brahmin packs that had supplies and camping tents though they have the training to handle raiders but they must not try to fight unless they have to. All Frontiersmen wore the old duster and hat cowboy look with combat armor that resembled pre-war but of course was crafted with salvaged resources. They had laser, service, or assault rifles while the support was in a mixture of engineers and some military-grade protection bots but these were not for combat but were for exploration and scouting.

The Frontiersmen buried the bones and skeleton of the past and gave them a prayer as they went on their route, they will know soon that they will have to enter into Las Cruces but some have been saying to try and cross the West Potrillo Mountains to see if they can establish a settlement or outpost there, if not, then they will have to go into Las Cruces with a much bigger force and try to capture it. They just hope that the other Team has a much better time in their mission.

THE MCHENRY FARM

Captain Morgan stood stoic in front of the family of 5. He hated this cleansing thing, but it was nessary to keep the Federation clean, and keep radiation out of their food(well as much as they could keep out)" I'm sorry ma'am but this land belongs to the Federation now, we are seizing this farm so we can produce food to feed our vault' he said sincerely. He didn't even have time to stop Private Peterson as he walked forward, and flicking the safety off, mowed down the ghoul family. "Creepy bastards" he muttered turning away to walk back to the truck. He turned around to the engineers left in charge of the ranch " bury this family properly, then check over the animals and their crops, kill all irradiated animals and burn all crops with radiation. If the house has any high levels in it, burn it too." Peterson reached out his hand, and Morgan took it and climbed up into the truck, there was supposed to be a town 8 miles down the road. Hopefully there'd be no raiders this time.

The Eastern Sun Expedition Team

The Eastern Sun Expedition Team is the one sent to cover the areas around El Paso and then will search on the Eastern side of New Mexico and join up with the North Desert Expedition Team. This Expedition was near the once famous Fort Bliss, home to the largest military base for the US, or it once had. The sight had been hit by nukes and many of the outer and inner places were bombarded by radiation and the horses don't seem to want to try and get into but the Team made note for the Frontiersmen in order for a survey force will come and explore deeper but for right now, they were to take a look at the White Sands Missile Range before they head back to El Paso and Vault 52 for they will have to report their findings to the Frontiersmen for it seems that they have been pulled off course because of the radiation of Ft.Bliss.

Commander Mother Bear of the Shoshone Militia prepared the poisons and healing powder in her adobe dwelling, meticulously measuring the exact amount of the ingredients needed. She had just finished the poisons which would be applied to most of the Militia's spears and arrows. Now she was working on the healing powder, which would save many lives in the event of a battle.

"And just a pinch of Xander Root..." she muttered to herself.

She smiled at her first batch of healing powder. Many Shoshone lives would be saved through her medicine, and many enemy lives taken with her poison...

The North Desert Expedition Team

The mountains had been surveyed and were not able to make any lasting settlement but they had spotted the vast resources that can be able to greatly help with the effort on bring the Frontiersmen on their feet, with the stores of stone and metal from the mountains, and the large stocks of wood and food from the forest can help the citizens of the Frontiersmen. Though this means that the Team had no choice but to contact with Las Cruces. Hopefully there will be anything or anyone there to make contact with.

It took the Team only three days from the mountains to reach Las Cruces where it has set up by Wastelanders, no more then about 100 and they were all stragglers from other raided settlements in New Mexico and they have been being attacked by raiders in Silver City. The Team had started to wander if they could actually fight them but they were not here to fight raiders but they have to remember the resources are not really good right now for military operations in New Mexico but they will have to send their reports to El Paso while they promise them that they will have news and answers on if they can help them or not. However, knowing the vast resources in the mountains and the Tenants that the Frontiersmen go with, they will be able to make sure they have a steady economy building up and be able to keep the forest green and the resources plentiful.

2 Weeks Later....
Shepard stood with 5 others, dressed in the familiar Enclave Power Armor. They carried Plasma Rifles and Plasma Pistols, as well as supplies. Shepard's helmet was off, and he kissed Ashley on the lips, and kissed Felix on the forehead. "I'll see you both in a few weeks, okay?". They both nodded, Ashley was crying. Shepard lifted her chin with his hand. "I'll be fine Ash, I'll see you soon... I love you". A tear rolled down her face. "I love you too" she said.

And officer pulled the lever, and the Giant Steel Door slid back, and rolled open. Shepard was the first to step out into the building. He looked around at the ground. "There was a camp here" he said, amazed. The door rolled closed, and the Enclave "E" was in the center. Shepard turned around, and opened the iron door, the hiked a looong stairwell, and came to a console. Lt. Davis got on, and opened the blast door above them. The men stepped into a dirty, dusty, and moldy shop. Davis closed the blast door using a console on the desk.

The 3 men opened the door to the store, and a blinding light forced them to cover their eyes, even through the visor. It'd been 2 years since anyone had seen the sun, and they were now. "Remember the mission" Shepard said. "Get to the second bunker, clear it out, and take control of the 50 vertibirds in the bunker".... the men walked off into the horizon... a hell awaiting them...

The bishop arrived earlier than he needed to, just to be prepared. He was sitting in the main cart, flanked by supplies and armed men. The same snipers from the day previous hiked up the mountain, they were great shots, but were only armed with .22s rifles.About 15 men in total, all armed. Concealed, of course. They wouldn't want to cause any unnecessary conflicts, but they were not dumb enough to go out without weapons. A man in the wasteland without anything to protect himself is naked.

All they could do was wait, and wait they did. Waited, and prayed. Like their first encounter, they were about as ready as they could, with their limited time and resources.

South East Arizona: Red Fang Territory

The blistering heat beat down on Elder Jorgenson and Elder Rockwell. They were both serving as missionaries, with only 3 months left until they return to New Provo. They were entering into the outskirts of Red Fang. They approached the guards, but they couldn't speak any language the missionaries could. Even with Spanish, tribal dialects, and German between the two of them. All the citizens appeared to be pacific islanders. Jorgenson and Rockwell knew a few Samoans and a Tongan in the community of the saints, back home. Umbridge pulled out a few bottle caps and pointed to his canteen, hoping they would understand the charade. One of the guards walked into their community as the other stared the two down, then yelled back at his comrade in some dialect. He didn't look to happy to see the two Mormons. He was big and he was armed, but if it came down to it, they could pull off a few rounds from their .45 pistols and they would be fine. All they could do now is wait for the response.

A few tense moments followed, as hushed voices discussed what they should do, in various tones of Fijian or Samoan. At last, he smiled and nodded to the guards, before calmly and coolly approaching them. "Hello, i'm sorry for the misunderstanding, but what exactly is your business here?" The previously stoic guard said to them, surprisingly in English.

Jorgenson spoke first, "We are missionaries, from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or "the Mormon church". We were hoping you would be interested in talking about religion."

The other elder continued,
"And if not, we can establish trade routes to our settlements in the north, and even do a little trading right here. With you, or your people. Currently we were hoping to get some water."

"We may been interested in your religion, however we're planning to move to a different and more safe location soon, all of the people here will soon leave" The Guard told them.

After a few moments, the same guard spoke to another guard, this time in a mixture of Fijian, Samoan and Maori.

"I'm your superior, so i'm telling you to get them some water"

The other guard complied, and dashed off with his service rifle at the hip, soon returning with two glasses of water.

"Oh, thank you" quickly remarked one of the missionaries, as they both downed the glass.
"We can help you relocate. We have nothing to do currently, and you are travelling north, right? Right where we were going to head after we spoke with you. We can speak as we travel, if that is fine with you." Burst out Jorgensen, the taller, stronger elder

"Yes, we may only have four arms, but we won't hesitate to give service to anyone not wanting to kill us." Replied Elder Umbridge. He was shorter, but had a quick stride and a steady trigger puller.

"You would be surprised, three times have we narrowly escaped death."

"Thanks to your shooting."

"And your wit."

"But mostly because of God's blessings."

Another guard ran up to the talking guard and whispered something, inaudible to the missionaries. After he spoke, he ran off and back to his guard post.

"Mori Passel himself, has agreed to let you help us, and by the way, my name is Ai'la'ausd Jones" The guard told the missionaries.

Eventually, a long line of citizens began to form.

"They appear ready to move" Ai'la'ausd Said quiety.

Bunker MacArthur, Arizona.

The bunker had been positively buzzing with excitement, Colonel Ackerman had announced contact with Enclave HQ and stated that combat operations would be opening up. Bunker MacArthur was announced to have a plan of establishing a federalized State, that would be named Urizona, a combo of Utah and Arizona. They were to provide water, food, and shelter to the locals and establish a good name for the Enclave. Being situated southwest of New America, they'd have diplomatic issues to come but atleast the U.S will continue on.

They continued with the guard, starting to discuss religion. Telling of their Christian sect. One of modern revelation, priesthood, and the main differences between Mormonism and other Christianity.

"Do you know anything about most Christianity? I'm just assuming you know the basics, but if you don't I can start from the beginning."

They both hoped they could be a help, not just a burden to the immigrating group.

The missionaries explained the largest differences and asked the man if he had any questions. He seemed friendly, but he could've taken this whole ting the wrong way. Then they would be stuck, no close escapes this time. They would need a miracle to escape this Fijian giant.

The Reich

Chancellors office
Alex was enjoying his private hour, a time were he would close his door, role one up, and listen to Reich radio, witch was playing the newly published
Rammstein edition https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rChfT3h-GEE

Without warning his Minister of Development, Eric Messit barged in and slammed a drawing on his desk and stood their breathing heavily.

Alex sat there dumbfounded and let of a very passive "What the fuck?"

"My Chancellor I found this in the library, you have been looking for ways to make the Reich safer I brought a solution"

http://www2.uncp.edu/home/rwb/berlin_wall_plan.jpg

Alex picked it up "You realize how expensive it would be how long it would-"

"I know Sir, I have already ran the numbers with our engineers and we have the resources, but it will take months of daily labor by everyone in the Reich to do it, including you sir"

"Of course. Sound the Reichstag, present your plan and call me when your done, I shouldn't speak like this"

"Yes sir"

The next morning the entire Reich was at work, as the Radio put it "Building our future, our children future, Seig Heil!"

Meanwhile on Reich Radio

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7efPGigl5Y, "And that was another song by Rammstein. And remember if you ever find yourself in the Reich, please enjoy our many Cabrera halls, clubs and party houses."
