The blistering heat beat down on Elder Jorgenson and Elder Rockwell. They were both serving as missionaries, with only 3 months left until they return to New Provo. They were entering into the outskirts of Red Fang. They approached the guards, but they couldn't speak any language the missionaries could. Even with Spanish, tribal dialects, and German between the two of them. All the citizens appeared to be pacific islanders. Jorgenson and Rockwell knew a few Samoans and a Tongan in the community of the saints, back home. Umbridge pulled out a few bottle caps and pointed to his canteen, hoping they would understand the charade. One of the guards walked into their community as the other stared the two down, then yelled back at his comrade in some dialect. He didn't look to happy to see the two Mormons. He was big and he was armed, but if it came down to it, they could pull off a few rounds from their .45 pistols and they would be fine. All they could do now is wait for the response.

A few tense moments followed, as hushed voices discussed what they should do, in various tones of Fijian or Samoan. At last, he smiled and nodded to the guards, before calmly and coolly approaching them. "Hello, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, but what exactly is your business here?" The previously stoic guard said to them, surprisingly in English.

Jorgenson spoke first, "We are missionaries, from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or "the Mormon church". We were hoping you would be interested in talking about religion."
The other elder continued,
"And if not, we can establish trade routes to our settlements in the north, and even do a little trading right here. With you, or your people. Currently we were hoping to get some water."

"We may been interested in your religion, however we're planning to move to a different and more safe location soon, all of the people here will soon leave" The Guard told them.
After a few moments, the same guard spoke to another guard, this time in a mixture of Fijian, Samoan and Maori.
"I'm your superior, so I'm telling you to get them some water"
The other guard complied, and dashed off with his service rifle at the hip, soon returning with two glasses of water.

"Oh, thank you" quickly remarked one of the missionaries, as they both downed the glass.
"We can help you relocate. We have nothing to do currently, and you are travelling north, right? Right where we were going to head after we spoke with you. We can speak as we travel, if that is fine with you." Burst out Jorgensen, the taller, stronger elder
"Yes, we may only have four arms, but we won't hesitate to give service to anyone not wanting to kill us." Replied Elder Umbridge. He was shorter, but had a quick stride and a steady trigger puller.
"You would be surprised, three times have we narrowly escaped death."
"Thanks to your shooting."
"And your wit."
"But mostly because of God's blessings."

Another guard ran up to the talking guard and whispered something, inaudible to the missionaries. After he spoke, he ran off and back to his guard post.
"Mori Passel himself, has agreed to let you help us, and by the way, my name is Ai'la'ausd Jones" The guard told the missionaries.
Eventually, a long line of citizens began to form.
"They appear ready to move" Ai'la'ausd Said quiety.

Mori Passel, your leader. I'm not sure we introduced ourselves. I'm Elder Jorgenson. This is Elder Umbridge." He said pointing to his companion.
They asked him about his life, his community, and what their ideals were.

They continued with the guard, starting to discuss religion. Telling of their Christian sect. One of modern revelation, priesthood, and the main differences between Mormonism and other Christianity.
"Do you know anything about most Christianity? I'm just assuming you know the basics, but if you don't I can start from the beginning."
They both hoped they could be a help, not just a burden to the immigrating group.

The missionaries explained the largest differences and asked the man if he had any questions. He seemed friendly, but he could've taken this whole ting the wrong way. Then they would be stuck, no close escapes this time. They would need a miracle to escape this Fijian giant.

"Hmm, interesting, once we reach our new settlement location, i want you to help build us a church" Ai'la'ausd told the Missionaries.
"I myself, wish to convert"

Great, we will be pleased to help. Although, we do not use alcohol, coffee, tea, or drugs. Is that fine? We will baptize you, confirm you a member of the church and you will be a part of the eternal kingdom of heaven.
