I like that ship a lot. I was already thinking of a librarum vault, since my character is quite lore-oriented (mainly forbidden ones, but the rest will come.).
if we can get 1 more power spared out somewhere, we could later on fit in an automatic activation geller field upgrade, then we have 70% chance of activating the geller field automatically should we get drawn into the warp unplanned. only takes 2 power as well.

but that's something for later, it looks really good.

also, I call shotgun on some quarters next to the librarum vault for the astropathic choir (if we have more then 1, which is not a guarentee.)

factbook is WiP. but a basic overview of our species is below:

State religion: not enforced but every member of the species follows the Cult of Pas Mathéma in some fashion.
Goverment type: Council of 5 heading a technocratic fuedalist society
Govermental sovereignty: protectorate of the 44th independant legion; large independant but ceding to them for interstellar politics and trade
Military power: on an FT schale next to nothing, since our total number of starships is for now 0.

Description

Appearance
5 ft 4 inches, dark hair, grey eyes, pale skin, four digit hands and feets (as opposed to normal Human five digits), pointed green ears (usually hidden under a leather flying cap) and a prehensile hairless tail in matching skin tone to ears (again typically hidden under clothing).

Personal History
There is a minor race known as the Genci, a Humanoid that barely registers with the Imperial authorities. They can pass for Human if they hide their non-Human features, in addition they try to keep a low profile and move amongst the lower levels of Imperial society amongst the dregs of Humanity. Course if discovered by the Imperial authorities they tend to be given over to the Ordo Xenos to be carted off to somewhere... unpleasant.

Lothwyn is one such member of that race, having been born into one of the nomadic Genic kindreds whilst they were in transit through the Void. From time-to-time they would make planetfall, especially if another kindred was present in order to exchange news and supplies. During one such 'Stopover' the kindred found itself in the path of an Arbites raid, those that weren't captured used the chaos to flee and Lothwyn found herself very much alone. Not knowing what else to do she stowed away on various different ships, hoping to find her kindred again. However one day on the latest ship she'd stowed away on she got caught by the crew, being weeks away from any port the captain simply bound her in servitude to the ship (she gained the surname Shaw as part of the servitude contract). During this time as effectively an indentured servant Lothwyn's life wasn't exactly great, though it could've been much much worse. Though as she matured she slowly showed an interest in the ship's lighters, then showed a surprising knack for flying them after one of the pilot's decided to let her take the controls. Whilst she came into her own as a pilot, she still wasn't anywhere close to regaining her freedom.

Eventually one day her ship was docked and she was tasked with ferrying supplies, around the same time the Rogue Trader Victor Rasputin had run into a spot of bother and needed to make a quick exit. Luckily Lothwyn had just landed her lighter to make another cargo run when Victor ran into her, thinking quickly she ushered Victor and his aides into the lighter and took off before disappearing into the streams of other lighters and shuttles. A grateful Victor ended up purchasing Lothwyn's indenture contract from her then master, thus almost giving her a sense of freedom...

Connection to Rogue Trader
Prior to joining the crew Lothwyn managed to rescue the Rogue Trader after a business meeting had turned sour, in turn Viktor Rasputin brought her Indenture contract. As part of the contract Lothwyn is bound in servitude to Viktor Rasputin for life and has had a tracker implanted in her right shoulder, though Lothwyn will be set free if she earns her freedom. She's been with the crew for two and a half years.

I've got them seperate as well, but here's the powers I'll be using at the start:

Telepathy discipline:
Thought sending (basic technique) allows the astropath to transmit a short message telepathically to a target nearby
Astral telepathy (free astropath power) allows astropathic commication over enormous distances
Mindlink allows the astropath to establish full telepathic communication between a number of minds
Beacon allows the astropath to leave a pool of energy in the warp, the direction of which he is aware of within a few kilometres, navigators can use it to help navigate within several light-years if they cannot find the astronomicon.
Inspire the astropath can send out waves of reassurance and courage, allowing his allies in a short range to possibly overcome fear and pinning

Soul ward discipline:
The emperor's guidance (basic technique) Allows the astropath to suffuse his allies with a sense of the god-emperor's approval at their cause, bolstering their willpower and possibly recover from any terrors they may have encountered.
Curious and industrious, PMT sharks in an FT setting.
factbook is WiP. but a basic overview of our species is below:
population (remaining, estimated) 6000
State religion: not enforced but every member of the species follows the Cult of Pas Mathéma in some fashion.

Whoops!

Ok, so I've updated the O.P. Hopefully everything is correct now. I've also inserted the Assets, though I'm sure I forgot somebody's, somewhere. That and I need Pruss's final decision. (Also Aelosia, if you decide to change, i'll pull yours out.)

I'm going to begin working on the IC, it should be up by the end of the day.

You forgot Cassius's Elite Marines (x2) which are his former armsmen from the light crusier Emperor's Glory.

Elite Marines (Emperor's Gloryboys)
Many years ago, this hardened group of fighters were the armsmen on the Imperial Voidship Emperor’s Glory. Fiercely loyal to their leader, Cassius Valer, many of them had been on the forefront of the mutiny that had seen the ship turn pirate, then at the core of pirate boarding parties. Although the Gloryboys are now few in number, barely over a hundred men strong, they are all exceptional veterans, comparable only to the elite Tempestus in ship-to-ship fighting.
(Deal an extra 1d10 Morale or 1d5 hull damage in boarding actions)

Description
~Ancestry - The Keelers are an old family which goes back deep into the history of the Imperium. The exact age or how they started isn't able to be pinged since their grand archive was destroyed and no other record has been found, however the family's rival which struck this terrible blow doesn't exist anymore after having gone bankrupt and being crushed in a final retribution. Ever since the Keelers have gathered up quite a reputation for financially crushing opponents, some have been cleaner than other about this process.

~History - Bantosquar Keelers grew up the second son to a greater noble, which proved him quite well. Interestingly enough he never wanted the seat, and put much effort into keeping his older sister Valeriana Keelers alive and on the top of the food chain. In order to do this he secured many contacts and allies in different organizations using them to fend off attacks of all sorts and making his own attacks which almost always left the opponent devastated. However his uncle Regulus Dayhunt managed to convince his father Daedalus to have Bantosquar be an alliance honoring asset for Victor Rasputin. Naturally Bantosquar fought against it however by that point it was veritable, partially because Daedalus wanted Valeriana to learn how to cope with the problems that Bantosquar would normally deal with before the even came to the stage of being a problem. A short time later a small Coup happened resulting in his uncle becoming the head and his sister being married to his cousin his father dying in a arranged accident and his uncle wrangling all of the power, once that was all completed he topped it off by having Bantosquar being framed for the death. Bantosquar using all his resources at hand crushed Regulus through. Framing him of heresy and dealings in the black market atrocious enough to bring the local Arbites, and anybody nearby with smiting duties. After that he simply walked away to let everybody else fight over everything that remained, his sister killed the cousin and became the heir again however she's just barely holding onto the seat. Bantosquar had a whole mentality switch from being the backstage protector to the backstage backstabber who backstabs everyone, including other backstabbers and backstabbers who backstab backstabbers. The experience left him paranoid, viewing virtually everyone as an enemy or at least potentially one.

On the trip to the Kororus Expanse the Geller field, soon after entering warp, had a microsecond glitch which revealed to everybody on board a horrific scene, which had a variety of effects upon the population of the ship. Some of the more well protected people got by without any psychological effects, while others with minimal protection got the full blast of the weirdness. Bantosquar was one of the people who survived with their mentality intact, several people had outright died from the unholy sight, while others less fortunate were mentally affected in various ways. The imitate after effect took more lives than the initial psyche blast, a large portion of the population went suicidal, homicidal, anything-else-cidal which quickly brought the death toll to nearly two fifths of the population. Fortunately the more mentally intact people were able to overwhelm at least most the homicidal people, with the exception of the ship's Master-at-Arms who got very close to detonating the warp drive, and succeeded at dealing a whole lot of damage to other compartments. The rest of the nearly five years and two months followed a series of people cracking and going completely insane, however their actions were completely unpredictable. With madness sweeping through the ship like a plague (unfortunately there was also a plague going on as well) the sane and reasonable people of power did their best to hold fort, however it seemed the madness was inevitable. Weird cults were springing up faster than they could be put down and the rate of which people were going over the edge into insanity was continuously increasing. The unforeseen happened yet again and somewhere within the holds of the great ship a cult formed the leader who appealed to the insane and managed to many of the sane. Soon after this cult gained enough power it began the mutiny in honest, and with the ship's armed personnel weary and well overworked it didn't take much to initially overwhelm them. However a counter assault put the fighting to a stall setting the whole ship into a bloody civil war where one side had the numbers and people who didn't give a shit about living, and the other had equipment and training. The same survivors managing to hold out with the key components to the control and operation of the ship in their hands for nearly seven months straight. As soon as they came out of the Warp the insane made one last attempt to gain control, however the defenders fought to their last breath, literally. The higher up staff and VIPs and a contingent of guards stormed the launch bays and evacuated, the captain stayed behind and once they were clear, made a short farewell speech to the remaining crew before releasing the atmosphere inside the wrecked ship killing all the inhabitants. Sometime later Imperial ships picked up the escaped ships and took them to the nearby planet, where Bantosquar met Victor several weeks later.

~Personality - Shaped by his life experiences Bantosquar is a man of both charm and sourness, he's got both these aspects which usually are in balance however sometimes one will be more prominent over the other depending on his mood. Figuratively he wears a smile on his face, a hand out for friendship and the other behind his back with a dagger, when he focuses on a goal he will achieve it by all means whether it's getting a increased profit factor or serving out vengeance against another person or fraction he is a unstoppable and often unseen force of human intellect and ambition working in the shadows of one who is more visible.

~Connection to the Rogue Trader - The Keelers have a alliance with the Rasputin family, and to honor this agreement Bantosquar was sent to assist the new Rogue Trader, or at least that's the official reasoning.
~Appearance:

Updated version.
Also his profit bonus goes into having a Spies and Contracts utility asset, he has multides of spies and informants that are spread throughout multiple organizations and houses of the sector.

Don't remeber exactly however I went with more specifications on the targetign monicle (ii's linked to the pistol), also can I have it an omniscope? (if not I'll just need to have the Explorator mod it to be equivilant to that later in the game)

Just thinking, we've already got connections to the Rogue Trader but what about the rest of the crew?

Heres an example for Lothwyn.

Rogue Trader Viktor Vladimirovich Rasputin; Holder of her indentured contract and de facto master.

Navigator Lucretia D'Lorraine; Would probably have a working relationship regarding the Adroit Catechumen.

High Factorum Bantosquar Keelers; May occasionally speak to regarding supplies/fuel for the ship's lighters.

Choir-Master Astropathica Melor Rasvüt; Has very little in the way of dealings with this character.

Vladko Morozov; Has very little in the way of dealings with this character.

Chief Bosun Cassius Valer; Perhaps a working relationship when it comes to boarding actions or making planetfall.

Master at Arms Bob Joe; Perhaps a working relationship when it comes to boarding actions or making planetfall.

Arch-Confessor Felix Voss Paulus; Wary of, tends to steer clear.

Magos Explorator Annarette Ghodwinne; Working relationship in keeping the ship's lighters maintained/repaired.

And thats what I've got, though feel free to make suggestions.

might be a good idea. I'll draft up something similar. consider this what his relationship'd be like after the first few months on board.

Rogue Trader Viktor Vladimirovich Rasputin; distant relative, interested and watchful.

Navigator Lucretia D'Lorraine; Would certainly try to maintain contacts with, if only because she's the only other 'spook' of sorts on the vessel en par with himself.

High Factorum Bantosquar Keelers; probably will have some contact with, as the espionage network might send coded messages by astropath that would need to be passed on, and coded orders would need to be sent back. also in eventual interrogations a telepath can be quite usefull.

Master of lighters Lothwyn Shaw; Has very little in the way of dealings with this character.

Vladko Morozov; Has very little in the way of dealings with this character.

Chief Bosun Cassius Valer; is cautious regarding the chief bosun, and as of yet unsure what to make of the man.

Master at Arms Bob Joe; will try to establish a working relationship, as Melor's powers of inspiration could be of use when using a hit-and run action, plus on planets Melor will have to rely on the soldiers for protection.

Arch-Confessor Felix Voss Paulus; definite attempt at friendship, seeing a fellow lore-interested man; only strain between them might be differences in the creed.

Magos Explorator Annarette Ghodwinne; dualistic view, both pleased to be working with the adeptus mechanicus again, and wary of what memories might be stirred from the disastrous mission in Melor's past by interacting with an explorator.

factbook is WiP. but a basic overview of our species is below:
population (remaining, estimated) 6000
State religion: not enforced but every member of the species follows the Cult of Pas Mathéma in some fashion.
Goverment type: Council of 5 heading a technocratic fuedalist society
Govermental sovereignty: protectorate of the 44th independant legion; large independant but ceding to them for interstellar politics and trade
Military power: on an FT schale next to nothing, since our total number of starships is for now 0.

Carch, friendly anthro blue shark. got any kalamari?
... Am I the only sane scientist out here? Even if I'm Cult Mechanicus, I still count as sane given the rest of you...

My apologies for saying some of Banto's actions Raktio, but it made the most sense for your character to provide the infodump.

Would it be safe to assume that my Confessor has a decent cabin with a few luxuries, such as a small library and a study?

As a member of the senior command staff, you may assume you have a nicely appointed private apartment with four to six reasonably sized rooms (not including WC). So yes, a study and/or small private library would be perfectly acceptable and quite logical.

Edit: Also not including servant's quarters, kitchens or the like. The Navigator and Lord Captain would likely have something closer to a 8 to 10 room mini-mansion.
