I tend to lean away from that one.. sure it's pretty decent.. but..
'bizarrely innovative heretech,' isn't something I'd want to be in the same hull as. even if it strangely hasn't gotten any specific detrimental effects.

but more expensive then a cobra for much the same stats and the same space. slightly more sturdy but less maneuverable. it's only redeaming feature is the slight increase in ballistic tests.

Either way, if we have a Frigate, we can purchase Thulian explorator vessel for it, which I'd really like.
Or drop 2 points into Vessel of the fleet, or even planet bound for a millenia wouldn't be bad.

On another note, I'm disappearing during the summer for at least a month if not two (summer camp staffing).

What camp ? And I may be gone as well, starting June 20th, and ending six to seven weeks later.

Cargo hold defiantly like, and some secret storage would be nice as well for when I start our smuggling operations (Explorator is free to take a look at the more advanced and intresting things). The death cult I also approve of after all they do make good assassins.

Because its funny to single you out. Plus, the Rogue trader shouldn't be wearing such heavy armor. He should have a aura of untouchability even out of armor. Not hiding inside of thick, protective, enviormentally sealed, flameproof and super cool armor.

I don't plan to go there either, probably going to stick to the bridge and the astropath quarters.

what is that pheonix then? also, I don't think thre are many eldar in the expanse, I think I've read about a single craftworld, but they've lost all their history and are now much closer to the old eldar empire just before the fall. of course, there is a sizable dark eldar population.

But an exploration mission sounds like a good starting point, just to see what we can find in the expanse. maybe with the aim to find a ship graveyard/planet to convert/pirate ship to board and plunder
