As soon as the Holy Fathers of the natives he will begin a crusade of sorts against them to wipe them out of the new world. These heathens are not worth the bother, just kill them all I mean really. Who needs them anyways they can't speak your native languages and will just be a bother. Bring your big guns with you and slaughter them.

Just remember it takes time to reach places.. don't go skipping months of travel.

If the Scots leave from Cornwall I say Cape Town is theirs to have. The Byzantines have to go through the Med. and get past Castile's grip of the Strait.

The Scots for sure. Though not by very much. To be honest both of them would see a ship off the west coast of Africa heading north flying under this flag.

Alvares is Portuguese. He and most of his Father's crew stayed in Tawantinsuyu. It has been a policy of the Sapa Inca to offer European Explorers a place to live and wealth should they choose to join with his country. As such, there are sizable Catholic Communities in some cities and the Christian god is seen in 1 of 2 ways depending on which priests you ask: Either another name for their chief Deity Inti or it is Pacha Kamaq the god who made the earth. Regardless, Christianity is an accepted belief in Tawantinsuyu.. so long as you don't try and convert people at the point of the sword. The last person to do that was killed. I have a good story written down for what happened to him.

Ah I see. The only ones who will meet the sword are those who attack the peaceful settlements of the Catholic colonists. That could easily trigger war and a Crusade.
