I was sad because I was the only European on continental Latin-America. :c

My main focus will be Africa anyways, since everyone'll be rushing for the Americas. Americas are really just a secondary project to fund my wars in Africa a bit better.

To my knowledge in this RP Captain cook wasn't relevant in that he didn't discover anything. I'd assume it was more like the discovery of South Africa or Southeast Asia, it was more of a tale that spread than a guy on a boat. Persia would've been the first nation to really 'act' on it, and if you think about it, Persia is the closest power capable. China and Japan are at each other's throats, India is divided, the Ottomans are in decline, the Europeans are going Westward, not east.

Plus, the last Zoroastrian Empire of Persia, the Sassanians, where actually kind of advanced in terms of science and sailing for a Non-European Nation.

In my latest post, I really only have a couple camps on the coast, but the map makes it into provinces, so they would be under me de jure 'control' although realistically it's still pretty frontier-esque

Got to say, I do prefer the second one over the other two.

While I personally believe I have the best variation of the Union Flag (which I clearly do), the first and the second are pretty good seconds. I think the second is more realistic for your kingdom.

- France has Nova Scotia right now

- The Dutch Took Bermuda

- Persia is in Western Australia

Also, historically the pope formed the League of Calamari to take down Venice. I don't need them for Venice, but perhaps I can greater something similar for Sicily, myself, Albion, and Mongolla. And of course potentially Aragon, lets put them on top of Castile while we are at it.
