RUSSIAN DEFENSE FORCES

During a patrol in the Icy waters of the Arctic ocean, a newly built submarine, the Red-37 sank in the Kara Sea in January 27, 6:24pm, 2015.
A large search operation was launched for the submarine, no contact from the crew was found. The naval base nearby claims that the reason why it sank was due to a lack of communication and supplies, as no reports of the submarine has been found for a while. The Russian government does not say this is the case until the submarine is found.

Boris Kenya, the military leader in-charge of the operation was discussing the current situation of Russia's military with the president.
"We haven't found any trace of the submarine so far it has only just been launched as a operation" he confessed.
"Unfortunately that is the case, I think our military situation should be good. If we are at war we mobilize, simple as that. he argues
"Yes, it is. Let's not try to threaten our neighbors, they are our lifeline. We have also received information about Iceland." he states
"Iceland? What about it?" he asks
"Scandinavia is calling for some talks about Iceland, if they should their country join the Republic" he responds.
"By force or by diplomacy?" the president asks.
"Either I suppose." he says.

In today's news the Hegemon departed for Stockholm to begin talks over the Icelandic Decision. Several political experts nationwide believe that this could usher in more diplomatic advances with our neighbors in the Arctic. It is thought that whether through force or diplomacy the Island of Iceland will be annexed by the United Republic of Scandinavia.

In other news senator Bill Hynestrom has brought attention to the meager harvest of the past years and warns that without more farm land the consequences could be catastrophic. Several former farmers have already begun to stage protests in the capital of Ottawa. Spokesman for the farmers Mila Verszech made the following statement's when interviewed.

"Miss Verszech what is it your group is protesting."

"We are protesting the lack of support for farmers shown by the rest of the nation. If we can't grow our wheat then there is nothing for them to eat.

"So what do you hope to accomplish?"

"We will gain support for farmers and get the government and the people to support ideas such as reclaiming land from the sea and cities for farm ground. Or an expansion of our borders to the unaligned territories to the west.

It would seem that Miss Verszech is only one of a majority clamoring for expansion into the territory to the west of Hegemony Borders. The Senate is meeting next week to decide whether to begin pressuring the Primarch for military maneuvering. Parliament will be sending neighboring nations information and claims over the next week in preparation for that meeting and hopes that an agreement will be met that can benefit the nation without causing problems in future diplomacy with our neighboring nations The Republic of America, The Federal Republic of Allied States of America, and The American Central Union.

With plentiful farm land and natural resources as well as a friendly population that resembles the Hegemony's annexation seems a very acceptable idea. We believe this is a good idea, and we would dispatch civilian personnel to participate in the construction and settlement of our grand new city. However, we must now discuss the pressing issue that the Hawaii islands are currently claimed and controlled by the People's Republic of America. The Empire has always held that these islands are neutral territory between us, for the sake of prevention of military incursions or other such accidents, and so control by this third party has, until now, not been an issue. We propose a combined show of force off Hawaii and that we attempt to integrate them into our city. Essentially, the civilian government would be invited to partake in the project. Hundreds of Chinese soldiers charged across the border, supported by a few hundred tanks, a couple jet fighters flew overhead. The soldiers quickly occupied the border towns in a few hours. The jets began to destroy Krgystani tanks as they tried to drive towards the Chinese forces. The flag of the Nationalist Chinese Empire was raised over the highest point of every town.

The Chinese had taken 400 casualties while the Kyrgystanis had taken 330. 15 Krygystani tanks had been destroyed while 3 Chinese tanks had been destroyed. 13 Kyrgystani planes had been destroyed on their airfield but 2 Chinese jets where shot down by AA fire. Nuclear missile silos had been secured to prevent the Kyrgystanis from nuking China. The heaviest fighting is in the northern regions, while in the south the Kyrgystanis have mostly been beaten. The northern fighting has caused hundreds of civilians to flee the country to Russia and Tadjikistan. The Chinese advance has slowed in the west due to the Kyrgistanis digging in for defense. The City of Bishkek is a complete warzone.

The United Military Training Base for Students

A fresh new batch of students who had excelled in education and Physical Education had been admitted into Military training- the second step in any students dreams to become a member of what is basically the upper class. It would not be easy however, 25 percent of the students would be dropped within the first month, and another 25 the next. By the end of the year long training, only 35 percent of the students shipped in from this particular school would be permitted to join the military. The drill instructors targeted no one in particular, ensuring all of them got the proper training for the front lines. It wouldnt just keep them alive, but their comrades and their country alive aswell.

During the last 6 months of training, student participate in combat drills with non-lethal weapons in several areas- first in the forests, then the swamps, then the deserts, then in abandoned urban areas or rural villages. Civilians may participate to the country as well- they may join Engineering divisions and help improve coastal defenses, design new weaponry of vehicles, or be experts in developing new tactics. In the Navy, standard civilians may join but will face extreme punishment and will have to learn how to maintain the respective equipment and how to operate the ship.

The likeliness of this is slim as the country has been calling for an extension on the canal for several years.

The legislature came out of meetings yesterday with the Primarch and have decided to move ahead with troops and administrative personnel moving into the areas. This news has been met with celebration through out the current territories of the Hegemony. The majority of people in the new territory have been equally happy. With a chance at the order and peace offered by the Hegemony as well as a more stable economy than what they originally had the newest citizens to our nation have flocked to the streets to welcome the forces of the Primarch as they arrive.

The claims you proposed for the alliance, espically the first one was rediculace. In case of war there should be no such things, seeing as It is war between to nations. But here are some things I believe would work for us,

1. Each nation is allowed a embassy in the other nations capital.
2. A Non-Aggression acting, meaning neither nation is allowed to attack unless provoked.
3. A Military, and Economic alliance is proposed meaning if at war the other can pull the other in, if on good terms. But it is up to the other nation.
4. Each nation is allowed to pass military through each others nations if training, in specific areas.

Operative Dieter stood in the room with the council, acting as if a reporter. He watched the chairman's movements, with the other people. He noticed how old he was, how walked, how he talked. He wanted to know as much as possible about this man before the "accident" that would occur. He followed the Chairman asking him questions, righting on a note pad. His concealed Makarov suppressed sat on the inside of his jacket. He knew it would be a easy kill, but he wanted to wait till the perfect time.

Operative Dieter got the man alone, to when he knew he could kill the man. He withdrew his Makarov, pointing it at the chairman's head. The bullet flew out the gun, into the chairman's head. Once the bullet passed through the chairman's brain he placed the gun the chairman's hand, wiping off the finger prints, the chairman's blood ran crimson red down the table, hitting the floor. He walked out the room, moving towards the exit trying to get away before they realized, he was able to get outside, into his car. Once they ran outside looking for him, he speed away into the coming cars, he dodged the coming cars, and moved with the traffic. "Success" is all he said to himself.

The federation had realized revolutions breaking out in the Hispania empire, by many countries. Thus resulting in the cedeing of land away from the federation border. After the death of Chairman Sebastian Torres the Hispania empire had riots break out, many people wanted free. The federation allowed rebels inside the borders, but no to rebel in the federation. The federation was also giving the rebels weaponry to fight, knowing their chance 200,000 marines were sent into Bolivia, and Chile (100,000 each) to engage the Hispania empire in the name of the "rebels". But also annexed the countries in doing so.

The federation mobilized 100,000 infantry fyi Water transport towards Uruguay to engage the Hispania empire. Also 20 submarines of group groups set up across the Argentina sea board in the north. If any war ships were sighted with the Hispania flag they were engaged. -Talks with Iceland conclude that Iceland will undergo annexation by the United Republic of Sweden. Currently, 1,000 troops aboard the carrier URNS Karl Gustav are inbound to Iceland to settle military matters. A temporary "Switch-Over Government" has been sent along with the soldiers to handle the political and economical annexation of Iceland.

-Talks with other Northern nations will continue sometime this week. The location and time of the meeting are disclosed, but we do know that it will take place within a week.

The War Room
The room was overwhelmed in a fiery atmosphere as both sides bickered about the situation developing to Eastern Europe. Many throughout the ASA were uncertain about how to handle the development. Some thought that going to war for "democracy" was just another failed renegade policy by the right to expand the ASA and regain "lost" military supremacy. On the left, people felt that such global police actions only harmed the ASA and caused needless destruction, the economy was still great and after Operation Eagle in the , which almost caused a war with the Scandinavian Empire , no one the left wanted to get involved in such a chaotic and blind endeavor.

In the Capital the atmosphere was searing as both sides hounded at one another.
"Damn it! We have to help them, what was the whole point of seat, " Operation Eagle if we aren't eve,going to use the training and materials we just bought!"
Another politician rose violently from his seat "You shut the HELL up about , Operation Eagle! That wasn't military strategy, that was piss poor politicizing! People died during that little 'training exercise' of yours!"
"We need to take a stand for Democracy! Iceland needs our help and are a close trading partner of ours!"

I'm not saying we go to war just yet, but that we watch how the situation plays out and prepare for the worse.

The people, especially the immigrants from Kyrgyzstan questions what the Second Russian Empire is going to do on this situation. The Russian government decided to go with the peoples choice, a s 80% of her citizens request for neutrality. The Russian Military, despite the submarine. Continues the patrol in the Arctic Ocean, drifting slightly west. However, the Russian government decision in the annexation of Iceland is currently Abstain, due to the ASA and Scandinavia. Rumors have it, that Russia may form a new alliance, more like N.A.T.O.. However what has been proven in a Kazakhstan-referendum for Independence. However, being with Russia for so long, the crisis is very weak. And as little effect, it is estimated that Kazakhstan will not go independent, as Russia does not approve the referendum.

The Fouled Anchor: News of the Royal Cambrian Navy

The Queen Rhiannon-class are a class of two aircraft supercarriers, one of which is still currently under construction for the Royal Cambrian Navy. The first, HMS Queen Rhiannon was launched in July 2012, with her commissioning taking place in just over a month from now, and full operational capability expected by the end of the year.

The contract for the vessels was announced on 25 July 2005 by Consul Legatus Shawn Cambrius, ending several years of delay over cost issues and Cambrian naval shipbuilding restructuring. The contracts were signed one year later on 3 July 2008 after the creation of BVT Surface Fleet through the merger of BAE Systems Surface Fleet Solutions and VT Group's VT Shipbuilding which was a requirement of the UKC government.

The vessels were originally expected to displace about 65,000 tonnes (64,000 long tons), however, as construction continued, the revised estimate of 70,600 tonnes was revealed by the Royal Cambrian Institute of Naval Architects. The ships will be 280 metres (920 ft) long and have a tailored air group of up to forty aircraft (though are capable of carrying up to fifty at full load). They will be the largest warships ever constructed for the Royal Cambrian Navy. The projected cost of the programme is £6.2 billion.

The carriers will be completed as originally planned, in a Short Take-Off and Vertical Landing (STOVL) configuration, deploying the Lockheed Martin F-35B. Following the 2010 Strategic Defence and Security Review, the Cambrian government had intended to purchase the F-35C carrier version of this aircraft, and adopted plans for HMS Prince of Wales to be built to a Catapult Assisted Take Off But Arrested Recovery (CATOBAR) configuration.

Under the previous plans, the Royal Cambrian Navy would operate only one aircraft carrier, routinely equipped with 12 fast jets. However, Praetor Legatus of the Navy, Command Admiral Fiona Aquila, has subsequently said that the STOVL design "gives us the ability to operate two carriers if we choose." The final decision will be made at the next major strategic defence review, expected in late 2015.

The Hegemon walked to the front of the V-Tol, his carrier group consisted of only a few ships but he had left most of the fleet at home he saw no reason to bring a military force of large proportions to a political meeting. This would give him a chance to feed the hungry wolves as well as possibly make valuable friends.

Riding in large black SUV's the Hegemon and his entourage moved toward the Hotel they would be staying at. Reviewing his recording of the Speech made by the president of Scandinavia, the Hegemon was glued to the screen of his smart phone it was well written and well delivered. Perhaps there would be good economic opportunities in the meeting.
