Also, talked to Akasha today, and he agreed to let me do a temporary map update. Quality isn't great and I kinda just threw it together, but hopefully it'll help with new nations/new claims.

"Getting supplies from over the Cascadians..." What? Why would I be getting supplies from all the way in the Northwest region of the United States when there are fertile areas far closer?

I also detailed, over the course of several mega-posts, how the not-Japanese are definitely not overextended. Furthermore, as I pointed out, I don't have to respond to any Zia movements, as they have not moved far enough to threaten the not-Japanese, yet. The only exception is the little salient poking out on the western side.

That said, I should post soon regarding the naval front, since things move faster there.

I'm pretty sure that backdating isn't allowed when it forces an earlier post to be different, e.g. a battle's beginning being RPed and then the other side creating a backdated post that their army actually never went there. Otherwise people could not post for 1000 years, say, and then backdate a post to say that they had actually been producing a resource that nobody else produced since 100 years ago, suddenly creating a "nah nah you have to edit your last century's posts because you've suddenly no income"

It isn't allowed.

Alleniana wrote:But we probably did... assuming that the printing press didn't fade into obscurity, we would've heard of it within the decade.

I'm quite happy as well. I was almost certain that I'd never find a way to get the nice rounded borders in the Himalayas when Quirina got the vassal, Fort clung on and Relikai invaded Burma, and I was worried about Byzantines in Sri Lanka, Orson for a while and possible colonial conquerors, but they all sort of faded away.

It feels nice. :D Now all I've to do is annex the vassals, perhaps battle Sassinia's guerillas for a bit, and then jump onto the international stage; some African or Australian colonies would be interesting.

Yay for Al. You should take part of Africa. That'd be great.

Rephesus wrote:I highly doubt that a Nordic free-state on the eastern seaboard would welcome a flood of angry south Asian rebels who just sailed around the world to just come live with them. They'd probably burn them for hearsay and lying, and then 200 years later when science and historians prove they were telling the truth it'll make for a very awkward joke.

*Nordic-Native free-state

And here's where the mods, both Buj and Allen, saying that retroactively mobilizing is not allowed.
