Well, yeah. But the poor people are still pissy just being poor in general. So, not overwhelming support, but not some small unknown group by any means.

I agree as well. That's why I am working hard to really get Serfdom dead. It still kind of exists right now, in all but name, but once these reforms start, at least the more populated Western Russia will really start to excel.

The latter does, Europe would still be a major economic power and technological driver in the world, except they would have to trade for goods rather than extorting colonies.

But these would be isolated tribes, most of them wouldn't even know what Europe was.

Some of them would, but I agree that generally most tribes would be ignorant of Europeans. At least a Zulu Empire that's Pan-African could/would make sense, since they where a coastal empire that could expand inward, and could trade with Europeans and learn of their continent and junk...

And why would they land there if they didn't colonize? Or set up outposts? Or forts? Or whatever? It makes no sense. Why would they come ashore?

To explore? To find trading partners? The Europeans never would have just sailed past anything.

Trade Especially; Trade was important to the Europeans, and was one of the primary reasons they colonized Africa to begin with (Valuable land, resources and workers, plus more people to sell stuff to). Europeans would still trade with Africans, they just wouldn't conquer them.

Cool. I'm also going to just say that the Tsar escaped to Bulgaria and their army is just trying to contain the violence to Serbia by blocking off rebels from entering Bulgaria.

The Serbian Tsar will always be welcomed in Russia. And so will the Bulgarian Tsar as well.

The commies out number the nationalists in all around size, so it would be difficult. You'd face a war like the Soviet-Afghan War.

Unlike the Soviet-Afghan War, though, I wouldn't be using any Russian Soldiers; Russian Generals would lead a Coalition of Balkan (Greece, Serbian, Bulgarian, Albanian, Croatian) and Turkish Troops to take care of the matter. It'd be more like Pre-Vietnam War Vietnam War.

Not necessarily true. Look at the British Empire, they conscripted Indians, Nigerians, Burmese, South Africans and Natives to fight in their wars, it was usually a great success, mostly because Indians happen to be very good soldiers

Not everyone in a minority hates their government, if enough leniency is given and if there's an ideological enemy you can often gain support this way.

In the Balkans, it is safe to say that every minority hates their government.

Hopefully, they hate Communism more then their own Government though...

... And if they don't, they will if the Communists take over.

Yeah it's a shame, a lot of the major power players seem to have taken a hiatus or just vanished all together. Some never even posted.

I think it's obvious why though; Without a War with me, a lot of the big guys just kind of got bored. I mean, Big Powers usually gotta go to war. But because I was trying to be realistic, as in, I don't wanna second Great War, I kind of tiptoed around the problem. Then they got bored realizing that a Major War wasn't going to happen, and that they didn't wanna just say stuff like "School Reforms! Ooooh!", so they left...

... Or they have more important things right now, but I still think the lack of a Major war is what is the main problem.

Getting involved will piss off the other powers in the world, possibly including Serbobulgaria depending on how Bolkania plays.

Plus, no matter who gets put in power, the rebel forces still exist and a peaceful Serbia won't exist unless one side actually destroys the other. Now, the nationalists would probably declare Miljevic a monarch or something and create a serbocentric state, the communists would be a bit more peaceful. They'd secede from Bulgaria, peacefully if possible, and just create a marxist-leninist state. the socialists are done for by now.

Communists? Peaceful? That's kind of a laugh. As a major in History and Politics, I study these things. Communism demands all of the world falls into Communism. And Communism demands violently overthrowing Bourgeoisie and Current Heads of State. It's why Korea, Vietnam and Germany where divided. It's why the Soviets would not back down from half of Europe. It's why all the Nationalists and Intellectuals in China had to go to Taiwan or anywhere else they could. It's why Several Communist Parties tried to overthrow Several Countries, and why the Soviets helped fund these Rebels (Congo, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, The Khmer Rouge of Cambodia. Even in the Modern Day, Nepalese Communists have been waging war with the Nepalese Monarchy for years now).

If the Serbian Communists get a state, then Communism will spread. We can't allow that to happen. Plus, most Major Powers would agree that Serbobulgaria is in my (And Austria's) SOI, and thus, we have the right, and the sole responsibility, to take care of the Communist threat.

My advice is to try to contain combat, so it doesn't spill into Austria or Albania (which would be a HUGE problem). The socialists are running back to Zajecar with their tail between their legs, and the communists and nationalists are getting ready to tear Serbia apart.
