About this alliance against Russia. I suggest we leave Russia in the Middle East. It is after all just a puppet state. We sure want the people to convert to Christianity.

Oops. Disregard those claims then...It's hard to determine stuff using our map and google maps.

This map shows the northern order of Albania accurately.

Aren't you neutral?

Besides, I think this RP has about come to a close. It was fun while it lasted, just were never able to get time to move along fast enough.

As of now I'm neutral. And what are you talking about. Time is slow because we're a) making very detailed posts and b) studying for exams. If it's a) then great. If it's b) then a come a week or so and time will be flowing

Yeah, you are going to need a very good history for that, as the POD is 1871.

Oh, I see. Well then, I can't do what I wanted to do. Oh well. I'll just stay with normal Russia then. :D

Can I own Anatolia and the Levant (Plus Palestine) since I conquered the Ottomans? Or did Britain and France (Who got their bums kicked by me towards the end) force me to create puppet states out of it or something?

Owning Anatolia sounds realistic, the rest of the Ottoman Empire would have been made into an Orthodox puppet state. Byzantinia.

Sounds good to me! I'll make my App in a little bit. :D

Nation Name: The Russian Empire (Российская Империя)
Symbols: Russian Flag, The Royal Coat of Arms
Population: 51,324,193
Location/Claims: Standard Russian Empire with Anatolia and Northern Levant. Byzantia, Persia, and Mongolia are Vassals of the Empire. Manchuria and North-Western China are Spheres of Influence for Russia.
Capital City: Currently St. Petersburg, but is being relocated to Istanbul (Constantinople)
Government Type: Absolute Monarchy
Ideology: Russian Might, Russian Nationalism, Orthodox Christianity, Anti-Islam
Leader/s: Czar Nicholas II Romanov
Economy: Heavily Agriculture Based Capitalist Economy that is slowly becoming Industrial. Tariffs on all goods from France and Britain (And to a less extent, Italy). Main Exports are Grain and Minerals, Main Imports are Oil.
Infrastructure: The Government helped create and currently maintains the Railway system that connects all of Western Russia with Austria-Hungary, Greece, and the newly Acquired Territories in Anatolia. A Nation wide Road System is also in place, although most roads in the East are Dirt.
Army: The Czar is the Head of the Army, but he usually appoints Generals to actually lead it, most of whom are Noble Friends of the Czar. Currently 27,000 Troops are stationed in Anatolia, 20,000 Troops are stationed in Byzantia, 7,500 Troops are patrolling Manchuria, 5,000 are patrolling the Eastern Half of the Country, and 1,000 are Guarding St. Petersburg (Total: 60,500 Soldiers).
Navy: The Russian Navy is only in the Black Sea. It contains 2 Battleships, 5 Destroyers, 11 Cruisers, and 8 Submarines. However, these Ships are not as well designed or maintained as Western Nation Ships.
Goals: To Dominate in China, Annex Mongolia and Persia, and Maintain it's dominance in Europe.
History: The Empire of Russia was formed under Peter the Great in 1721, after the Tsardom of Russia invaded the Ottoman Empire, the Baltic States and then expanded Westward. For Hundreds of Years, Russia has been able to stand against her enemies, from the Invasion of Napoleon to the various wars with the Muslims to their South. In 1877, Czar Alexander II declared war on the Ottomans, for what he hoped would be the last time. The European Powers, fearing Russian Aggression and Power, ordered him to retreat, and although he complied, his general did not; they took Constantinople, dismantled the Caliphate, took over Anatolia (Including Constantinople) and formed Byzantia from the Remnants of the Ottomans. This lead to the Great War, which raged for 18 years.

Because of poor organization of his army against the Western States, and the death of Alexander II, the Russian Empire was loosing for much of the war, with much of the Batlic States, Crimea, the Steppes and Anatolia being ruled by Western Powers. But after the first 6 years, the Russians began a series of surprise victories (Dubbed The Russian Miracle), that, while causing a large number of deaths in the Empire, helped lead to Russian Victory. The battle of Sevestapol in 1884, lead by Future Czar Nicholas II, was believed to be a turning point for the war, as it effectively began the push out of Invasionary forces by the Numerically Large Russian Forces. By 1892, the Casualties where becoming enormous, and the Russians where beginning to be furious for the insane length of the war. Nicholas II helped his Austrian Allies in the battle of Koper that year, but even he agreed the war had gone on for far too long. In the Early months of 1897, the recently crowned Czar Nicholas II finally got his kingdom out of war, and peace was established.

Over 30,000,000 Russians died in the war; either from fighting or starvation. This massive decline in population had it's positives, however; the Serf System effectively broke down, with Peasants demanding freedoms and liberties, which Nicholas II was more then happy to oblige to. By 1899, and a great surge of Nationalism and Pride over the fact that Russia won the war began, leading to what is known as the "Age of Russian Exceptionalism". It coincided with a sudden growth in Economic Liberalization and Modernization, as well as a Liberalization of Society as a whole. Modern Industries began to grow in major urban cities through out Russia. Russian Art and Literature exploded this year, much of which glorified the war, although there where plenty of Russian Novelists who where critical of the War and the Way the Czars lead it. And Tchaikovsky performed his final great Opera, Для тех, мы скорбим (To Those, We Mourn), which was about the Battle of Sevestapol, shortly before his death from Pneumonia in 1901. February 17th is also a National Holiday, "Great War Day", to signify the end of the war.

With no near by enemies and a suddenly booming economy, the only threats to the Czars reign is Liberalism itslef. While Nicholas II has always been a supporter of the General Liberalism of his nation, radicals calling for either Democracy or even weirder Ideas (Com-mun-nism) have begun rearing their ugly heads. An attempt on Nicholas's II life in 1902 by a group of Democratic Revolutionaries was stopped and surpressed, but frightened the Public, although not too badly. Vladimir Lenin, a well known Russian "Com-mun-nist" who's currently hiding in France, has been calling for the fall of his, and everyone elses', rule, and it is believed that France is personally funding Radicals in his country. On top of that, most of the Country is still dependent on Farming and lack a decent education, and while this hasn't dented the Age of Russian Exceptionalism, it does present problems. But it'll be up to the People of Russia, and Nicholas II himself, to determine what will happen to the Victorious Russian Empire...

Does anyone mind that the Lost Generation in this Game will refer to Russian Artists, Poets and Novelists (And the first few Film Makers) who are highly critical of the Great War? Because we lost 30 Million Men during the whole affair, and most of the fighting was on Russian Land...

Austria Hungary is necessary because the Backstory says it is. Also the POD Is 1870 something.

Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia, Thrace (Greek and Turkish) and Romanian Dobruja.

App should come by tomorrow.

Almost 100% certain that Greece is reserved. The Rest of the Balkans though, should be fine.

Yeah.

Yeah, at this time, Air Crafts where a novelty/expensive thing, usually for 1 to 2 people riding it at slow speeds. And the War Planes in World War 1 weren't in high quantities, so even by then we wouldn't have a lot of War Planes! Only around the Spanish Civil War and World War 2 did War Planes start being used in large scale...
