You're kidding, right? France directly influences and indirectly controls over half of Africa, happens to have the third largest nuclear arsenal in the world, has the largest economy and navy in europe, and happens to have some of the greatest power projection in the world (Africa, still has colonies internationally, holds Catalonia, Belgium and parts of Italy).

I think he means that France doesn't have much to do in general. After Suez, they kind of just took a step back.

De jure, yes, but de facto it has forced all former USSR members into pretty much a second Warsaw Pact, banned them from establishing a formal military, and made them reserve a quarter of their legislatures to Communist Party members. It de facto controls pretty much all of the USSR still.

I'm sorry that wikkle Avantia doesn't like it when people make little itty bitty jokes at his expense.

As a consistent poster and probably most active current super power, I'm personally not sure what right you had to be criticizing my level of activity; afterall, I do put lots of my time into this RP. Considering you haven't even posted yet, I feel like I am perfectly justified in asking what right you had to criticize my activity.

But hey, don't mind me. You're probably so much more dedicated than I am, that you have actually been plotting your actions for this RP days in advance.

Well, it just was 200 men. I might decide to go for another go. The Chinese army is never low on man power.

But I think Wu is more of a vengeance seeker. I wonder how the rebels will react to missile salvos upon their positions?

Japan would be shocked at such an atrocity.

In fact, we might refuse to let you in to the followup conference to Nagoya. :P

Is Turkey seriously sending 600,000 Infantry? That's ridiculous, you'd be leaving so much of your nation undefended, you'd be shredding through your defence budget and putting up a last-minute logistical nightmare.

And on top of that, you sold 25% of your oil at once.

I called up the reserves early because of that.

Selling 25% of my oil gives me the funds to buy other things regarding my military, keep ammunition supplied, etc.

You would have Chinese support. If it would even be relevant in such a distant conflict. :P

Oil payments aren't a static transfer. It will take years for you to sell all of that oil, and in such large quantity you'd need to sell it dirt cheap. It will take you years to get all of the money from that deal.

As for reserves, are you seriously sending a reserve army into Azerbaijan to fight Iranian regulars? You're asking to get slaughtered en masse.

Reserves are holding the rest of the nation, the army is fighting in Iran.

It will take me years to get the money from the deal? With the oil I am selling to the United States, I get around $2,500,000 per day. That money goes straight to the armed forces, and helps a lot.

I can already provide proper naval and air support, the U.S. is hopping on board to make sure that the war is strictly in my favor.

Why is everyone backing a Dirty Commie state over the much-more-helpful Iran?
