Yes they would. The world right now operates on the idea that the West will do whatever is needed to remain in power, including the use of force.

Well, with the USSR really not falling at all in this RP, it's a drastically different landscape. I don't think Waz would assume 80% of the world would DoW on China, especially since sending boots on the ground is worse than missiles and the Chinese have already done the former.
