New Winchester, Columbia
As the sun rose up on the capital city of New Winchester (in the location of Mexico City) the city was bustling and teeming with life, people were scrambling to get to work and kids to school, and all the while, the King was looking on the city with the sun rising up and the sky orange. "Prime Minister Sanderson... the capital looks... beautiful." "I agree, David. But the world situation isn't so beautiful. Plenty of Fascist nations are on the rise, and it looks like we might get into a new World War."
"Why can't we just have peace... just for a century...?" "Man must make war, to feed the tree of liberty and justice with the blood of dictatorship and tyrannies." "Didn't George Washington say that?" "Something like that. Anyway, we have the matters of the country to worry about, David." 'You're right. I'm going to go now." "See ya."
Camp Ross, outside of Rogers City (La Paz)
"One, two, three, four! Keep marchin', men! Don't let the Siamese get Baja California! Kick those imperialists all the way back to Bangkok!" Such was life at Camp Ross. Camp Ross was a Royal Columbian Army base, outside of Rogers City, on the Baja California Peninsula. The kingdom was wary of recent Siamese conquests in the South-East Asia region, with the Malay Peninsula being taken. The local defense force in Japan, the Japanese Local Protection Forces, was increased to over 255,000 troops, and the number of Columbian troops to 50,000.
War was imminent.
