"I do not see why man should not be just as cruel as nature."
-Adolf Hitler
The year is 1945. The Situation in Europe has gone completely south for the Germans, as France and Poland has been overrun by enemy forces, and Bulgaria and Romania have abandoned the Reich, leaving it in dire need of Oil supplies to host major offensives. The situation is dire, as these coming months will certainly be one of tough decisions, and a great loss of life regardless. The Allies are coming up on a end to the war in Europe, but the Japanese are still in power, and the United States is on the verge of discovering a weapon, that could change the face of the world. This is the status of the world, and you are to chose which side you will be on.
In this RP, you will be taking a character which was alive at the time, and roleplaying his days during the war. You can play as a General on the Front, to a important minister or leader of a country. Regardless of which, you are to RP his post in the war, and try and lead your country to ruin by being a traitor, or lead your country to victory. The choice is yours, as this RP will be player driven, and whatever you decide to happen, shall be put in place to alter from the Historical context of events. Be advised, if you wanna RP a country, this is acceptable to, and is actually recommended to be a country, and take a character in that country, and you can RP your countries reforms, as well as your other character actions.
Not exactly, it depends on the character your chose to RP with. For example, if you chose to play Prime Minister Churchill of Britain, I doubt he would try to backstab his country in any way, so doing that with this character would not be good, but if you roleplayed a character like Albert Speer, Hirohito, ect, you may have doubts on continuing the war, and may want to get your nation out of it, which not exactly by betrayal, but by whatever means else you could. All I ask is, research your character, and RP his personality, while adding in your own flavor of things.
Well, you will then TG me about what replacements you would like to be put in his old post, with a good reasoning for him to be their, and you will basically switch to him. Be advised, if you kill a leader of a country and you were rping the country and the person, you will still RP the country, with just a different person.
Well-...it really depends on alot of factors. Now the goal of this RP is to immerse you into a feel of being a leader in a tough position, regardless of your position, and bring new challenges, and new decisions to continue on your legacy, not so much as trying to keep a state together through Goddmodded advances, ect. But, if luck just so happens to fall in favor of these powers due to a mistake from the opposite player, you know stuff could happen...
Basically, take for example if you wanted to RP France, you don't have to be De Gaulle. You could RP the whole of France in De Gaulles name, but have a secret objective as a different character. This way, when your character does something, you will rp the reaction from everyone in France to it, to keep out godmodding ect, and for me not to have to give reactions to everything your character does. This is also for Generals, as you can RP Dwight D. Eisenhower, and control the United States as well. You may also be accepted to RP a nation at the same time, as for example. If I RP Franklin D. Roosevelt of USA, someone else could take up a role as a minister or general in the USA, and you would be their Commander in Chief. You would issue attack orders, direct the war effort, and have your own cronies under you. If you need more explanation on how this works, please TG me, or post in the thread and I will further explain it.
But just be aware, you can be a general or something for a country, and you can just be that character instead of the country as well. This is entirely up to you. And if you are leading the country as well as a character, your control the NPC characters of that country that are important.

Timescale:
Every page, equals two weeks in the IC. This is to keep the RP flowing, and provides for laws and such to be drafted and put into effect. You are REQUIRED, to date the YEAR of your actions, so we can keep track of time.
Historical Accuracy:
What does this mean? We are following historical context for now, but when the RP starts we will most certainly deviate.
Waging War:
Any conflict that is started must be waged reasonably and realistically. Also be aware of the terrain you are invading as that is a determining factor in battles. Troop mobilization on a nationwide scale takes time as well, at the very least two weeks for the most advanced nations just in the home region.
Technology:
Understanding the limitations of your nation's technology is important. Just know what you can and cannot do.
Know How to Lose:
If you lose, say good game and go on. You can request to play as a revolutionary with new goals in the country you lost power in if you wish, just be realistic and don't go out there doing superman style politics/warfare.
Meta-Gaming:
What is meta-gaming? If something is talked about in OOC, for example a invasion plan for Afghanistan. I don't want someone going in there and placing troops in the way of the plan just from what they read in OOC.
Post Quality:
Please do not post one liners! two liners! or three liners! These posts can be so much better and it degrades the quality of the RP and your reputation when you make such small posts. Please step it up to at LEAST two paragraphs with eight sentences per paragraph. Also, please don't gigantic (900 pixel) flags as well. Keep them to a modest size.
Need some OP assistance?:
Post these numbers, and I will get with you soon.

Suggestions:
If you have any suggestions to better this RP, please put them in this format, this is a idea which I would love become popular, but will need input:
