How does Reaping work? Like, when somebody jumps off a cliff, does a Reaper go and Reap after they've hit the ground?

If possible, they Reap the soul at the exact moment that they're body dies. However, in cases where that's impossible (or at least extremely difficult), such as when a person jumps off of a cliff, they wait until after the body is dead. In cases in which the death would be unusually traumatic for the soul, however, as well as in cases where the body is completely destroyed, they attempt to collect the soul before the body's death, usually by a couple of seconds and generally no more than a minute before. When an unscheduled death occurs (such as when someone is attacked by a poltergeist, for instance) they must wait until after the body is dead, however.

Death Weapon in Reap Mode: A grenade shaped like a skull. Blast radius is increased base on how many polterghiests or demons detected.
Death Weapon in Death Mode: Creates a body double of Charlotte, which can move, speak and otherwise mimic her behavior. However, if a demon or poltergheist is detected, the body double will detonate.
Bio: Charlotte was born in a rural english village on the border of northern ireland and england, she grew up simply and peacfully. She married her childhood sweetheart at the age of 20. Seven years later however, the NRA took over the town, killing most of the town, being very fit, Charlotte was given an ultimatum. Blow up the nearest trainstation or the terrorists would kill the rest of her village. Desperate to save her lover Charlotte did as they asked, and ended up blowing herself up, killing many, something she deeply regrets. Her husband, was killed soon after, and he, so distraught turned into a demon, who harried death academy for years. In a twist of fate, Charlotte ended up unwittingly killing him during her fourth year. She was a rather unremarkable reaper, preferring to not stand out. She graduated without incident and became a teacher.
