If no one minds, I changed Maiso's app a bit:

Edited Death Mode (Weapon), so that the blade storm is Death Mode.
Weapon is now capable of splitting into dual blades without entering Death Mode.
Changed name from Shinotai to Shikuro.

(If you don't wanna let me change it, I'll change it back. My mind was incessantly telling me to do this. I was planning to ask before editing every previous post with Shinotai in it.)

Well, living forever gets boring. Maybe a revolution might seem to add a bit of spice to his life.

No, Death would totally obliterate anyone who supported the rebellion. That, or turn them into mindless drones.

Is there any way then to at least make it appear to Calvin (and other reapers that follow him) that a revolution might be successful? I don't plan on having it work, and am wanting it to get screwed. However, I still like the idea as an interesting plot twist.

But its up to you, so I won't push it if you don't want it. Although Calvin will still be a bastard and try to fuck the system at some point or another.

Oh, and it could be merely a revolution against the current Council, not Death himself. Thus its more like people wanting a change in the bureaucracy, not the kingship itself.

I would see how it develops ICly. If Calvin seems competent enough and musters enough support then just maybe. It also depends on my developing relation with Maiso.

I meant that the victor would be neither, since Mirna would stay with the Council if she liked Maiso enough and thus wouldn't have an outright battle with Hotaru if that was the case.

Ah alright. My misunderstanding. Speaking of combat with Hotaru, I'll only admit my defeat due to the fact that Hotaru holds years of experience over Mirna. That and her tracking ability basically nulls my ability to hide among my illusions. I'd have to constantly bring my illusions to life which would eventually take its toll, and I would then lose due to lack of strength to continue.
