Hmm, Possible ally against the Tyrells should the need arise.

Very Good, Tywin will likely send missives to Oldtown in the coming days.

Note: The Dornish haven't actually made a claim to the throne yet, nor have the other houses officially...

What the hell? Has no one read my second post? Jeyne says a Baratheon would take the throne, and even offers to give up her child for it.

Tywin thought on it in his monologue in the very post he left the council within.

Except the Baratheons :P

Well you haven't made an actual claim and called banners or anything (which is good, because if you did chances are the other houses would dog pile)

The Tullys would back the Baratheons, since we're allied.

Not as such. We're friendly, but not allies.

You don't negotiate for me. The Tullys don't like playing second fiddle to another house like Austria-Hungary to Germany.

That was with Hoster (who was dying) and Edmure (who wasn't the strongest of lords).

Bryden and Bran are much more formidable.

Did they lose our Lord or Heir of Household to either Tully or Stark?

No.

Did they lose the war to either party?

No.

I think the riverlords and Northmen aligning was likely the best thing to ever happen to House Lannister, gave them an excuse to destroy the strength of both. Which they did.

Maybe Lady Jeyne should take a respite to travel down to the docks and pray at the Red Temple...

I'm not, I'm just saying that we may be joining with Lord Stark soon, and I already have ties with the Hardying-Starks.

About that . . .

Two things.

One: House Brightwater does not wield a fourth of the Reach's forces. I simply must protest to that notion, as it would leave the Houses of Crane, Florent, Fossoway, Mullendore, Oakheart, Redwyne, Rowan, Tarly, and Vyrwel, with an average of 5111 men each--an incredibly importable number, if one recalls that Redwyne and Florent are also powerful Houses.

Two: House Florent is deathly loyal to House Tyrell after Willas Tyrell restored them to Brightwater Keep. I do not think they would casually enter into a coup d'etat with House Brightwater.

I would also polite request--though this is not as important--that it be recognized that Willas Tyrell did not move his fleet to the Arbor out of demand. It was simply the most convenient choice.
Bonjour et bonsoir! (You have to know me to get the French.)

Forewarning: Anything below this point is going to be either facetious, objectively irrelevant, fun RPs, or simply my personally ramblings.

I have learned how to exclaim my divinity in four languages. Soy un dios! Je suis un dieu! Ich bin ein Gott! I am a god! I find this to be proof of my divinity.

Anyway, some RPs:

House APP:

House Name: House Royce of Runestone

Sigil: http://awoiaf.westeros.org/images/thumb ... -Royce.png

Head of House:
De Jure Andar "Young un'" Royce(60) son of Andar Royce Senior, Bronze Yohn's son. He was a decent fighter, preferring mace and shield to horse and lance. Despite never winning in the tourney's he led several successful forays against the hill tribes for the Lord of the Eyrie. At the age of 30, he became the Lord of Runestone when his father died of a stroke. He ruled admirably for years, birthing one son. Fifteen years past, his wife Kira died in a tragic accident. He has since become incredibly hostile and narrow minded, intently focused on killing things and abdicating the Rune Stone Seat in favor of leading the Royce bannermen into combat against smugglers, hillmen, and pirates.

De Facto Yorren "Bronzeoak" Royce(45) The sole son of Andar Royce, he assumed the Rune Stone Seat at the age of thirty amidst his father's abdication. He is more of a warrior, taking after his father and great-grandfather. He is the current holder of the Royce Armor. He is approximately six foot four, and wields a large bronze and steel shield and cruel mace. He is a skilled tactician and warrior, performing best in melee. He lacks in the strategy and management categories. His wife, Analise, died two years past of Greyscale. He has grey eyes and white hair brought about from Analise's death.

Relevant House Members:

Csilla Royce nee Waynwood(26) The wife of Wym Royce, she hails from the House Waynwood. A dedicated adherent to the Faith of the Seven, she nonetheless tries to convert her Old God's Husband to no avail. She is skilled player of the Harp and stands rought 5'5". Her hair falls long in coils in a red morass. She detests the politics of Westeros.

Wym Royce(28) The eldest son of Yorren, he stands a mere 5'6" and has hair bronze like the family shield. He manages the day to day affairs of the House. He is a skilled mathematician and works wonders as Runestone's Master of Coin. He is a gifted civil administrator as well, and rather well liked by the people of his family's domains. He; however, is no Ser and likely never will be. He is adept at fencing and little else. His place is by his father's books, fighting the Golden War, while his brother's and father fight the Bloody War.

Tyr Royce(26) A good sized fellow with auburn hair and booming laugh. He is a decent horseman and knight, and is the most traditional Westerosi warrior of the lot. He prefers a good bought in the yards to looking over the books. He is a merry fellow, and often hosts parties and small tournies. Tyr is the only Ser in the living family, being nominally of the Seven and more of a go with it person. He is very lax and carefree. He is married to Alyssa Royce nee Shett-Grafton

Andos Royce(24) The youngest Royce, is roughly six foot and brown eyed. He is a serious fellow, perhaps even more so than his eldest brother, Wym. He is a conservative and efficient fighter, doing what must be done with as few actions as possible. He is a talented strategist, efficiently dealing with any threat with the appropriate force, and only as much as needed. His moves are cold, quick, and deadly.

Other Members, not significant.

Kolumna Royce(20)
Ayss Royce nee Shett-Grafton (25)

House Seat: Runestone

House's Faith: Old Gods and Faith of the Seven

Military Forces: ~7,000

Sworn Houses: House Royce of the Gates of the Moon, Coldwater of Coldwater Burn, Shett-Grafton of Gull Town, Tollet of Gray Glen

Events within the House in the 60 years between the OP history and the RP:

With the end of the Second Long Night and the Reconquest, Westeros was left tired and bleeding. However, Runestone has escaped the Second Long Night and Reconquest rather unscathed, located as it was on the peninsula. This held true for most Royce lands and sworn houses save the Coldwaters. The Royce's fought their fair share of battle, and lost their share of men, but after sixty years of unparalleled growth and prosperity, they are back on their feet.

RP Example: VAPOR RP Group, New Imperialism, FT-Bravo, Guns of our Forefathers, Clankers and Beasties

Notes:House Shett and House Grafton merged because of serious patricide in both Houses during the Vale Landings of Dany's return. Grafton became Sworn House as part of the Shetts.
I'm really tired
