Awakening the citizens of Antioch at the early dawn was the joyous chiming of unison church bells as they pealed and ranged in celebration.
The Queen had given birth to a baby girl after a laborious 12 hour ordeal throughout the night. The Fantasians had a new ruler to protect them in the far future and to commemorate this historical event, the entire city was invited to attend a huge gala, held in honour of the crown princess's forthcoming.
Invitation cards were being distributed throughout all of Antioch as the bells rang and delivery boys on bicycles huffed and puffed as they push envelopes into the post-boxes of Serenade Heights. Nobody was to be missed, especially not the newcomers. Classes were cancelled & Hogwarts Academy was closed for the day. Even the unwelcome were courteously invited as guests to the ball (although many people are hoping they won't show up) and that goes for all dark, shady and villainous characters residing neutrally in Antioch.
Back in the castle, The Golden Guards were busy polishing and sprucing up their shining armor and Valyrian steel swords. Protocol requires them to do so and they had to be done at 12:00 pm sharp....7 hours before the sun sets and wayyy before the party starts, giving them time to prepare for the glorious army parade to honour their Queen and her daughter. Meanwhile, the chefs and their helpers were busy preparing for tonight's feast and scullery maids could be seen hurrying in and out of the royal cookhouse, most of them hopping onto buses or cars heading into Chinatown so that they could buy last minute ingredients.
In the Royal Chambers, The Dragon Queen was busy making sweet cooing sounds at her newborn child....totally ignoring her doctor's orders for getting some sleep before the big event. She was too excited and happy to go to bed, although her entire aching body yearned for some rest. Only one thing marred her happiness though.......her disappointment and anger at a certain somebody who wasn't present at his daughter's hour of birth, seemingly.
