Chapter 1: The Christening of a New Day

It t'was a bright & beautiful April morning of the year 2014.

Awakening the citizens of Antioch at the early dawn was the joyous chiming of unison church bells as they pealed and ranged in celebration.

The Queen had given birth to a baby girl after a laborious 12 hour ordeal throughout the night. The Fantasians had a new ruler to protect them in the far future and to commemorate this historical event, the entire city was invited to attend a huge gala, held in honour of the crown princess's forthcoming.

Invitation cards were being distributed throughout all of Antioch as the bells rang and delivery boys on bicycles huffed and puffed as they push envelopes into the post-boxes of Serenade Heights. Nobody was to be missed, especially not the newcomers. Classes were cancelled & Hogwarts Academy was closed for the day. Even the unwelcome were courteously invited as guests to the ball (although many people are hoping they won't show up) and that goes for all dark, shady and villainous characters residing neutrally in Antioch.

Back in the castle, The Golden Guards were busy polishing and sprucing up their shining armor and Valyrian steel swords. Protocol requires them to do so and they had to be done at 12:00 pm sharp....7 hours before the sun sets and wayyy before the party starts, giving them time to prepare for the glorious army parade to honour their Queen and her daughter. Meanwhile, the chefs and their helpers were busy preparing for tonight's feast and scullery maids could be seen hurrying in and out of the royal cookhouse, most of them hopping onto buses or cars heading into Chinatown so that they could buy last minute ingredients.

In the Royal Chambers, The Dragon Queen was busy making sweet cooing sounds at her newborn child....totally ignoring her doctor's orders for getting some sleep before the big event. She was too excited and happy to go to bed, although her entire aching body yearned for some rest. Only one thing marred her happiness though.......her disappointment and anger at a certain somebody who wasn't present at his daughter's hour of birth, seemingly.

Waking up in the quite average looking home in the middle of the neighborhood she called home, Ryan Apfelbeck, or better known as the character name of Kei, yawned at the sight of the coming sun. Her alarm clock was busy blaring it's head off next to her, and a quick jab to the top of it shut it up right away. It'd been nearly 2 years now since he was affected by the Imagine Source leak, turned into his favorite character from an online RP. Gone now was his old appearance, and even Gender, taking on Kei's every last detail, even up to preference for rare alcoholic beverages, despite being only 16.

Her orange hair cascaded in elegant clumps down her back, something a shower would fix, and she arched her back, getting out of bed with a slight grumble. Ryan had taken onto being Kei quite well, even if he woke up in the morning freaking out because something was gone down there, or that he now had breasts, but other than that, he was taking it all in stride.

"Mail already?" She groaned, watching out the window in her bedroom as a delivery boy cycled away.

After a quick shower, and some makeup being applied (Learning to do that 2 years ago was quite a bitch), the Goddess sauntered out the door in nothing but Yoga pants and a tank-top, and grabbed the invitation letter before her morning jog. She'd read it on the way as she jogged around the entire block a few times.

Makayla was still fast asleep in her bed, sprawled out and fully dressed. Apparently she had been either too lazy or too tired to put on some pajamas before going to bed.

Super Cat had a better since of time of when to get up, and was stretching her cute little paws out when she heard the bicycle delivery boy. She arched her back in one last stretch that puffed her fur out, then headed out the little cat door to see what the delivery was. Seeing the letter, he picked it up in her teeth and carried it inside, floating up on to the table to open it and read it. She tore the seal with her claws, then opened the letter and read it. Purring, she flew to Makayla's room and pawed at her nose.

"Mmm," Makayla said, stirring. "Go away," She muttered, turning over and pulling her blanket over her head. Sighing, Super Cat leaped on to her head, sheathing and unsheathing her claws.
"Oww," Makayla said, stretching. "What?"

Super Cat produced the letter from her pouch, and Makayla took it, reading it. "Think we should go?" She asked, and Super Cat nodded. Though she had taken on the more social traits of her 'Noonoo' self, she still wasn't much of a party girl. This felt like something she should go to, however, as it was quite an important thing, rather then just some random party. "Alright," She said,"I wonder if there's any dress code. You should wear a dress, whether there is or not. You'd be the talk of the party."

Super Cat purred,"I'll be the talk of the party, anyway," She said, clearly joking. "You should probably take a shower and change your clothes." She licked her paw, then drew it over her ear, giving herself a bath.

Makayla nodded, then got up, grabbing supplies for showering. Once done with all that, she put on a pare of black leather pants, a black shirt, and a sleek black leather jacket, which she zipped up to her chin. This was her normal outfit, no matter the weather. Strangely, she never seemed to be affected by the heat when wearing the outfit. She then went to go get some breakfast and try to wake up.

Zeen woke up to the sound of church bells ringing. He lay in his bed with one eye open staring out across his room at his staff, sword and robe. When he heard someone put a letter through the door he got out of bed and went to the door. He picked up the letter and opened it. He read it as he walk walked back into his bedroom he throws the letter onto his bedside table and then he gets dressed. Once he's dressed he walks out his front door and into his garden. His garden has a faint blueish glow to it as most of the plants there have been magically infused due to his presence. He started tending to his garden by waving his staff about and spreading about small shards of ice. As he finishes doing this he turns around to see Kei jog past his garden.

King Lion woke up from his slumber, inside the Dark Society, his brand new casino. It's been 4 months since his arrival in the Antioch, and many had changed. For instance, he is now constantly fighting the Bat Family and Sun Squad in order to protect his already fledgling operations of looking these artifacts. His position now rise as one of the powerful men and women, with large influence and able to escape crime punishment with his lawyers and bails. Not that he can't live in Asylum, he just doesn't want to. Who knows, maybe he will control the lunatics and unleash them to Antioch.

King Lion had been informed that the Queen had gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, and it is rude not to show up there. He contacts his chaffeur and fashion staffs and told them to prepared his suits and limousine, he intends to visit and...giving gifts, for him every year giving gifts to the Queen, not for bribe, but out of respect. Even evil has standards, say the tropes. He didn't received the invitation, but he will come regardless, as he prepared for the routine meeting with his captains to discuss the current and upcoming operations.

----------------------

Meanwhile, since he was off this day for the celebration of the baby, Edward took the liberty of this freedom to train himself and to prepare his costume. There will be something sinister happening, especially when a baby was born, and more especially when the baby is the child of the Queen.

Makayla read through the letter again as she finished up her breakfast. So, formal clothes, as expected. She looked over at Super Cat, who was eating a bowl of cat food. "I guess we're going to have to go shopping. I don't think I own a single dress, and certainly nothing worthy of a ball for the birth of a princess," She said, placing her bowl in the sink. She was lucky. Since the change, she had made a fair amount of money, allowing her to actually afford a nice dress.

Once Super Cat was done eating, they headed out of the house and in to their car. It was weird being able to drive. The only reason she knew how to drive was because of the Noonoo part of herself. She hadn't known how to drive until the change. Super Cat curled up in the front passenger seat, and they headed off to the store in search of a dress worthy of such an event.

Passing by a driveway with a parked car, Kei noticed her neighbor, Makayla, and her pet cat leaving the door. She always made it a point to say hi to the people she lived near, mainly because she needed some friends besides the feq she made with the Bat Family. As she jogged by, her hand waved at Makayla, and she shouted.

"Morning!"

Emma's Manor, Serenade Heights

The Uhaul was parked outside, her Bugatti Veyron (courtesy of Avalar) was parked in the driveway. Female servants, Valatar, Valkyries of Avalar some might say, were unloading and packing Emma's contents into her new home. She had been the Queen's Doctor for sometime already, but her official move into Serenade Heights was recent. Avalar, Lord of Death, was sitting in a Lawn chair. Sipping on straight vodka, the taste must have been dreadful, than again could a God get drunk? Who knew. Needless to say Vaemidia had tricked him into doing this job, he was a people person after all.

He signed, his gorgeous features and violet eyes played across the neighborhood. He waved to a kid on a bicycle, he would be seeing his grandfather soon in the old folks home over some kidney business. Well, a representative of him anyways, he had a full schedule anyways with governing his own realm that was not on Earth.

Royal Chambers

Vaemidia was walking down the well upholstered hallway, flanked by two Valtmar, her High Elves that resided in her own supernatural Domain and carrying her medical bags. She was the Queens Doctor, well, Emma was. But she secured the appointment, as having a Goddess of Life as your physician certainly had its upsides. She knocked on the door, well, Emma knocked on the door. Emma, was still sleeping mentally, Vaemidia had asked permission to ride around in her for a bit.

"Open up dearie, its Vae come to check up on our darling new Queen Mother!" Her voice, Vaemidia's voice, was sweet light honey and a tone of glowing benevolence. One could say she had taken a special liking to the Queen to put it mildly.

The picture might have seemed odd for some, a young lady dressed up in a fancy blue strapless dress, with eyes glowing a pleasant green-yellow that could melt a stoic man to his core. See, when Avalar or Vaemidia took Emma as a vessel some of their attributes became physically apparent. Such as the eye's changing color, and as time goes on, so does the physical features continue to change and grow.

Makayla paused just before actually getting in the car when she heard a voice. Luckily for Kei, Makayla hadn't actually left yet, and was just working on it. "Good morning," She said, waving in return. Super Cat peeked her head out of the window, then floated over to Makayla, waving her paw at the passing person. "Hi!" She said, as if a flying waving cat wasn't weird enough. Both paused and waited to see if the jogger was planning on stopping, or if she was just saying 'morning' and continuing on her way.

Coming to a full stop a few stwps past the driveway, Kei shrugged, seemingly not having even broken a sweat. Ryan used to be quit out of shape, but becoming the athletic goddess fron his RP definitely had its perks, and she jogged every day just to see if she even could get tired. The only time she ever really felt exhausted was after using her powers, knocking her out after a few spells.

She shook her head, and strolled over to the car. "So, you two hear the news? The Queen had her baby this morning!" She exclaimed, quite excited. She'd spent some time near government officials, and knew this was quite the historic event.

"Will I see you two at the Gala tonight?"

Super Cat landed on Makayla's shoulder, purring as Kei came over. "Yeah, we heard," She said, her tail moving happily. Makayla rubbed Super Cat's ears, then said,"We were just on our way to buy a dress, since I don't have anything worthy of wearing to a Gala like that." She was totally unaware of the fact that this girl in front of her had, in fact, been a dude until the change. "I take it you're attending, as well."

To tell the truth, Kei never really had any formal wear. Her dace turned puzzled as she never had to deal with this before. She just wore a nice suit or something, but this was big, something she'd need a dress for. "Well, suppose I might need some decorations as well, I guess." She scratched the back of her head in confusion. "Never bought a dress before, think you can give me sone pointers or sonething? I . . . Uh, nevermind." The woman shook her head.

"I was a guy before the change."

A blush overtook her face, and she looked to the ground on shame. She'd admitted it a few people she knew, and always felt the same each time, remembering his old life.

"That's interesting. And probably very strange for you," Makayla said. She wasn't entirely sure how to respond to that, other then to wonder what it was like for him/her. "Super Cat here was just a normal cat before the change. I wonder what's stranger. Suddenly gaining more intelligence and powers, or changing genders. Anyway, I can try to give you pointers, but I'm not very fashion oriented, myself, so I may not be the most helpful." She brushed a strand of her dark brown thigh-length hair out of her eyes. It was pulled back in to a long braid, but some strands always seemed to manage to come loose.

"I mean, both of them must be pretty weird, but still, we can both just admit that weird stuff happened that night, 2 years back. It's getting harder to remember what it was like being a guy, so I guess I'm good in that respect." Kei grinned. "Yeah, hey, I'll see you later, alright?" She waved again, starting to head off. "It'll be cool to see everyone at the Ball tonight." She finished, and started up her jog again. Maybe she should give her mentor a call? He'd probably be there at the Gala, so it wouldn't be too necessary.

The Royal Chambers

A lady-in-waiting, arrayed in a long beautiful white silken dress, opened the double doors and bowed politely to the High Priestess as she took two steps back with her eyes directed to the ground.

"Hey Emma, Isn't little Etain the sweetest most cutest little eenie beenie you've ever seen?" inquired Daenerys Targaryen, trying her best not to sound too weary. She didn't want anybody else to bug her into getting somemore sleep. Cradled delicately in her arms lay the squealing princess, tugging on her mother's finger and trying to put it into her mouth.

The moment the Queen's royal physician stepped into the room, Etain's eyes moved and fixated themselves upon her. Both pupils suddenly transformed into vertical slits and the irises became dark blue in color.

Dragon Eyes.

Some of those with the blood of the dragons running through their veins were gifted with this powerful ability. The users had the power to paralyse whomever looks directly at them with immense fear or delve deep into the thoughts and the very core of a person's soul. However, as a mere baby, Etain had not mastered nor developed any of these abilities and the most it did was to enhance her adorableness or to cause unease among the handmaidens when they had to change her diaper.

One look at Etain and you could tell she was something special. The way she was born proved it so.

At the last minute of her birth, the doctor and her nurses were nearly blinded by a bright yellow light that arrayed the Queen's daughter as she came out of her womb. The power of the sun illuminating from every fiber of her being, expelled all darkness and shadows from every corner of the room in a flash.....signifying her future inheritance of the Angelus that resided within Daenarys.

Finishing her jog without much more irregularities, Kei cracked her neck to either side, and changed into some clothes much more fitting for the beautiful day it was shaping up to be: A radiant golden shirt, and some khaki shorts. Her wallet left unattended on the table was quickly snatched up, and the woman started walking down towards the shops she knew. In her mind, she pictured how hard it'd be buying a dress. She had no idea what would fit her or what wouldn't, mainly because the times she needed, she'd just wear a nice suit or even a tuxedo.

Her eyes panned the few shops she knew where she could get a pair of nice clothes, and the goddess finally settled on one specializing in business suits. It was a no-brainer to her. She could grab a nice suit there that she could use for any occasion she felt she needed to dress for.

Spending a majority of the money in her wallet though, she forgot one very important thing.

"Presents . . ." She muttered aimlessly. "Oh shit, presents!"

Her mind scrambled, but settled on the fact that she really didn't care that much anyways. It was a happy occasion, but her mom never got presents when he was born.

After Zeen had finished with tending to his garden he set off to the shops to see what there was for him to bring as a present to this gala. As he was walking he was talking out loud to himself, "So a child is born into the royalty of this land. It would only make sense for me to be happy about it, afterall it is a rather big deal. So what should I bring? It would be an idea to also get some form of outfit for the occasion, but what would I wear other than what I wear now?" He sighed slightly as we walked through the city towards the shops.

The Royal Chambers

"Uriel, if we keep meeting like this people might think your desperate." She glanced back at Uriel with a wry smile. The Goddess of Life, though currently using Emma as a vessel and not manifesting in her preferred form, had grown accustomed to Uriels 'chance' meetings. As the Queen opened the door Vaemidia returned her gaze forward.

"Yes your grace, she will grow to mirror your own beauty." said Vaemidia through Emma. For a split second Vaemidia flicked Emma's eyes at the child's and the Goddess registered the creation before her. Its Dragon Eye's, or Draegr Eyes as Avalar would have called them. The Draegr being one of the greatest creations and many were Avalar's most powerful servants. The child had great power within, Vaemidia could see that clear as day despite the obvious appearance of the child seeming normal, except for the eyes of course.

Vaemidia even recalled the light that glowed bright when Etain entered the world, for being the chief physician the child had slid into her arms from the womb during the last moments of labor. If it had not been a Goddess the child's light would have surely blinded her permanently. She would have to take care and watch the child when Daenerys couldn't herself. She knew that there were others who would seek to due ill to the young babe.

Vaemidia flicked her eyes, all of this spanning a split second, and looked at Daenerys as she spoke, "Knowing you, you would obviously ignore my advice for rest. As you seem to be more tired than usual, and I would wish to conduct some examinations in case of post-birth maladies surface. But, seeing as you seem determined to be up and about, may I just conduct a quick check up on your health."

Vaemidia, being a Goddess of Life, could since something else within Daenerys. Something like a child, but alas it could not be so. She could not gleam what it was. It must be the after effects of the childs power still left in her womb. Yes, that must be it. Those thoughts arced across Vaemidia's mind as she awaited the Queen's permission to the exam, or to deny the exam.

Emma's Manor

Avalar finished the last of his beverage as the last of his Valatar put the very final piece of furniture and all its belongings into the Manor home. Precisely as Emma would have wanted, after all he had seen her mind before when he took her as a vessel in a previous engagement. He then stood up, clapped his hands and said, "I thank you my lovely ladies."

They all bowed to their Lord and dissipated into nothing, returning back to Avalar's Halls. The Lord of Death turned his violet eyes to the castle and snapped his fingers. Turning into a bright violet flash of lightning that arced into the sky. To reappear in the Courtyard of the Royal residence. Normally the defenses would have registered the massive aura heading their way and sought to stop it, but Avalar belonging to Emma, was allowed entry. Out of respect he never appeared within the buildings themselves, instead awaiting to be allowed entry. The Lord of Death wore a black suit, Armani, with a dress shirt and Gucci shoes. His small cane topped with a Dragons head in silver he held in his right hand. His beauty was much like Vaemidia's, though he never sought a lover. He awaited in the Courtyard and rapped on the gates.

Once Kei left and continued on her jog, Makayla and SuperCat hopped in the car and went on their way to find a dress and a gift. They had to shop around for quite a while before Makayla finally found something she liked. It was hard because she wasn't really in to the styles most girls were. Once they had a dress, she shopped around for some matching jewelry.

Once all the beauty stuff was taken care of, she headed out to look for a gift for the princess, though she didn't have a clue as to what to get. What do you get for a princess? It took a while, but she eventually decided what to get. On the way home, she stopped to pick up some black hair dye. She had long since wanted to dye her hair black, and in figuring that black hair would look better with her dress then her normal boring brown, she decided to stop putting it off.

The duo returned to their house to prepare for the day. Makayla began dying her hair, while SuperCat scrubbed her fur until it shone.
Times are looking grim these days~

The Orthanc
Hall of the Seeing Stone

There is no place on earth where a man, dressed in white robe, his hand extended over a black glass globe, is more terrifying than in the Orthanc. Alexander Constantine, intellectual heir of Saruman the White, was using his magical powers again to get ahead of his enemies. A Palentir, a seeing stone, lay before him, trails of smoke and fire twirling and dancing inside. Alexander held his hand above it, and his eyes firmly closed. He was seeking, searching for truth. The position he was in, outside the city, made him vulnerable for any sort of attack from the outside. His power and his neutrality in the world affairs made him an unlikely target for an attack, but Saruman was never the person to let that kind of thing happen to him. No, he was searching the world for forces plotting against him, to see what the Palentir would reveal to him. What dangers lay beyond the borders of his new Isengard…

Instead of plotters and conspirators, Alexander sensed something else. Something new, a shift in everything in this new world. The fabric changed, the future had been altered. Suddenly, where there had been a dark future, there was now light. The hint of birth, a new beginning. Alexander sensed it. A baby had been born. The feeling and the images did not lie, the Dargon Queen had birthed an heir, the safeguard of the entire institution. Blast. Another bend in his scheming, his careful plans. Now that this baby had been born, the line had been secured, and that gave the royal commanders of Antioch, and certainly the Caped Crusader, some more legitimacy. With every passing day, the current government dug itself deeper and deeper. Replacing it was no longer viable in the current climate. He really needed to claim it from within, which required new planning, and maybe friends on the inside. There had to be someone in there willing to trade everything for more power, there just had to be.

The opportunity arose soon enough. A servant, an unknown being hidden in black robes with a hood covering his face walked in. The being was small, it just reached the waist of the White Sorcerer, and had a piece of paper in his hand. Without a word, he handed it over to the wizard, who opened it up using his sharp long fingernails, after which he read what was inside. He pondered, he thought, and concluded that this ball would be the best opening for him. He needed friends inside Antioch, and all of Antioch would converge there and then, making it the ideal spot. A new power was rising…

Selene stood in a stone room that seemed to be within a cave, the relic known as the Forget-Me-Knot wrapped around the Well of Seers. Arguably, they were two of the most powerful sensory relics on the planet and offered unrivalled insight into past, present and future. That meant she could see what happened in a place last or even at a specific or general time as if it was "recorded", or she could watch someone in multiple spectrums of light or see into the future. Right now she was glimpsing at the location of the Book of Thoth, that was the book that held the most potent and powerful spells and almost every bit of Egyptian magical knowledge, even basic magical knowledge in its pages. A seemingly infinite amount of pages was within it, each time you turned the page one more seemed to appear as if the spellbook was magically imbued to hold a ridiculous amount of knowledge. Of course, any information you wanted to appear to you would appear with a few simple thoughts aimed at the book so you didn't have to sift through endless pages.

A small smirk was developing on Selene's lips until an invitation appeared on the Well's surface of water with a small splash, raising a brow Selene looked over the letter before 'hmm'ing. Then Selene teleported to a place so unworthy of the Book of Thoth that it was ridiculous then got the hell out of there because that cave was creepier than hers... that and she swore that she saw a giant friggin' snake similar to Set.

Morgana

Morgan awoke after the sun was already up. Completely nude, she lay sprawled on top of her bed, staring blankly at the ceiling for almost half an hour before she finally swung her legs over onto the floor and stood up. She went to her closet and opened it, taking out a flowing black gown with long sleeves and stepping into it, pulling it up and slowly pushing her arms through the sleeves. It was loose at the back to allow room for her black butterfly wings. After her dress was on, she walked barefoot to the door and opened it wide to let the fresh air in. Seeing that she had mail, she picked it up and opened the envelope, raising her eyebrow at the heavy paper and royal seal. "From the Queen...?" she wondered aloud, turning back into her house and sliding her fingernail under the edge of the flap to cut it open. She pulled out the letter, dropping the envelope onto her dining table and unfolding the paper. Her eyes flicked over the words as she used her free hand to flip her long hair over her shoulder, out of her line of vision. The Queen has given birth, hm? Well then, I suppose that I had better put on some makeup then. And maybe I'll put on a different dress. Something a bit more... effeminate. She nodded, returning to her bedroom and going back to her closet, letting her current dress fall off of her shoulders to land on the floor. She stepped out of it and picked it up, hanging it up. And I suppose that I should wear underwear as well.... Morgana pulled out a drawer and surveyed her underwear collection. It was scant; truth be told, she normally didn't wear any unless she was going out for extended periods. She didn't really see the point, seeing as she usually wore long black dresses.

She pulled out a plain black pair and looked it over, nodding before putting it on. She then found a bra -- another thing she usually did without, due to her meagre breast size, which had grown almost imperceptibly since the change, much to her chagrin -- and put it on as well before closing the drawer. Next, she pulled out another black dress: this one was sleeveless, shorter and more form-fitting than the other, which had hung quite loosely and trailed on the floor when she walked. After having put it on and zipped up the back (which had a low back to accommodate her wings), she glanced at herself in the full-length mirror on her wall, looking her figure up and down. She rarely wore anything so tight, so it was a bit uncomfortable, but she knew that she would get used to it after about an hour; after all, she'd been wearing dresses like this since she'd been 15. Perhaps being a bit taller might be nice, she thought, and pulled a pair of black leather high-heeled boots that hugged her entire calf up to the knee out of her collection of shoes. After putting them on and noting that she now appeared to be at least three inches taller, she went to the bathroom to put on mascara, lipstick, and blush; these were the only makeup she ever put on, as she disliked appearing too 'dolled-up.'

She then walked out the door and locked it behind her, looking up at the blue sky and smiling.

Cheshire

The Cheshire Cat had been awake when the bells began ringing, and he suspected what it meant even before he received the letter. As an influential criminal, he kept himself updated on all of the latest news, so he already knew that the Dragon Queen had been in labour. He sat perched on the table in his dining room, the tip of his tail flicking from side to side as he waited. Finally he heard the delivery boy deliver his invitation, and he vanished, appearing an instant later outside to fetch the letter. He sat down on the stoop and slashed the envelope open with his claw, pulling out the letter and unfolding it. After he read it he grinned, revealing sharp teeth, and ran his hands through his purple hair. "So, there's gonna be a party, eh? Well then, I guess I'd better get ready. Should be fun." He vanished again, the letter fluttering to the ground, and reappeared inside his bedroom. "Now.... Formal wear." He opened his closet and pulled out a few things, but none of them really seemed formal enough for such an occasion. "Well, shit. Guess this means I've gotta go shopping." He pursed his lips and pulled his leather wallet out of his back pocket, opening it up. Inside was more than enough to buy a suit, so he shut it and slipped it back into his pocket. He could have easily stolen one, but since he was going to be wearing it amidst so many law enforcers, he thought it best to be on his best behaviour. So, without further ado, he reappeared in the nearby shopping district and began searching for a suit.

The Dragon Queen

"Oh alright," replied Daenarys alittle grumpily. Reluctantly she handed Etain over to a lady-in-waiting who placed her back within her cradle.

"To be honest, I've been feeling very hungry over the past two hours but none of my favourite food seems to satisfy me today. In-fact, they tasted downright disgusting. Also, I literally feel like there is something gnawing away in my stomach.....must be some after-birth period right?

Laying on her back and propped against a soft white feather pillow, the Queen looked a little worried. She didn't mention that when she got up this morning she felt quite nauseas and had ended up vomiting blood all over the toilet bowl.

Blood.

Needless to say she felt quite frightened but she refrained from mentioning it in fear of ruining her baby's special day.

Hearing Uriel's voice a moment ago, Daenarys said out loud cheekily. "Sir Uriel! I admire your persistant attempts in trying to court Lady von Salien. But surely you have better things to do before the gala am I right?

For example...

1: Making sure the decorations, the food and the music are organised properly

2: Notifying the Commander and The Golden Guard to be on high alert tonight as we are expecting some welcomed but very disliked guests.

3: The rest of your other jobs as Hand of the Queen

.....oh and don't forget a special mission of mine. I need you to drive over to Arkham Asylum and personally hand an invite to The Dark Knight. As usual none of the delivery boys want to do that particular task."

The Batcave

The anti-villain known as The Batman flexed his gloved fingers and tried to display a show of his fading powers. To no avail.

He knew the reason why they were going away and he tried not to be too worried about it. But its been nearly 3 decades since he has lived with it and naturally he had come to depend on the abilities of The Darkness very heavily. Frowning under his cowl, Batman turned around quickly making his long jagged cloak swish as he did so and picked up his iPhone before dialling a number.

At the other end of the line, a cell-phone was ringing and when somebody picked up The Dark Knight growled, "Kei...you're suppose to report for duty an hour ago. We've got work to do so you better get your ass here asap or I'm finding myself another side-kick."

Ending the call just as abruptly as he had spoken, the Batman then simply pressed a com device in his ear and said, "Edward....bring me a black coffee with three lumps of sugar in it. Make yourself one while you're at it. We're going to have a long day ahead of us."

Before his butler/computer maintenance officer could reply, he ended the call and when straight to inspect the batmobile.

Doubtless many were happy at the birth of a royal heir. Sauron was not one of them. The birth itself did not concern him, the gala on the other hand infuriated him. It reminded Sauron of how low he had to sink to avoid detection, to have to disguise as a smith was degrading enough, however to have to go to some sort of event at the behest of a ruler just to keep up appearances, the very though made Sauron fume. However he knew his time would come. He had slowly been gaining influence, making many of the guilds members his subordinates using his powers. He had amassed enough armor and weapons to cause much trouble for the Dragon Queen and the Bat Family.

However causing trouble was not his goal, he had the weapons, he simply needed arms to use those weapons on his behalf.

Moving over to his Palantir, he used it to search for the other being with a palantir. Saruman was his name, or as the human he had inhabited was known, "Alexander". It was difficult to distinguish between the human and the Fantasian. In the case of Sauron, his human name, William Bishop, had died to him a long time ago, he only used it in a hollow way, a means to an end.

Saruman was a Maiar like himself, and had not detected the Dark Lord. Sauron had been careful to never show his true form unless there was dire need, anyone looking through a palantir would only see an older William Bishop. Saruman would make a good ally if his plans were to be enacted. For now the Lord of the Rings had not contacted Alexander/Saruman. However after this Gala it would be a good time to gather allies, with the state distracted with the newborn girl, his plans would be much easier to enact.

Sauron covered the palantir, turning his mind to less important matters. He had a "gift" for the newly born princess, all he needed to do was to decide what to wear...
