See, I was under the impression that they were at Ghost's residence which I assumed was in Canterlot...when did they go to Ponyville?

Ghost

Seeing Pitch fall on the ground asleep and no sign of Derpy anywhere Ghost gave up for now. But he didn't know where she lived either. But figuring since she never showed up in Canterlot often she must have lived out of town. So Ghost decided to take Pitch and Dinky to his apartment. It wasn't too far from where they were so the walk was manageable if they were awake. When they got to his apartment he laid Pitch and Dinky on his bed and he went and crashed on the couch. "Hopefully, tomorrow will be better." He said as he closed his eyes.


Ghost lives in Canterlot. Okay... one problem solved...

Fallingheart

Fallingheart cringed slightly. "Er, yes, I know Ghost. Please, don't mention that incident to him, would you? I was on my way to visiting his house when you popped up.


Okay, so he was on his way to Ghost's house in Canterlot...

From there they spent the rest of the morning...

Done, the OP says so and there is evidence proving said hypothesis.

...Now, time to edit the IC...

Feh. I guess I could think up some reason for Night Life to be in Canterlot, but I was trying to avoid it for story reasons.
