Nah.

Also, am considering creating more than one Aoife. :p

There will be regular Aoife, shadow Aoife, etc. If I manage to work it out, I could have a dozen Aoife's. All ready for bloodshed. >:D

I'm going to start making an app so I'm not just lurking. Since the rp is still quite early, it seems like a good idea. Can I get a review of what's happened, though, for when I actually can post?

I would provide a synopsis, but I'm a lazy asshole, so I'll let Saur do it when he gets on.

Nation's Name: Ik' Ka' Ek' Akai

Personification's Name:Zeltzinakna

National Background: The Celestial Empire of the Twelve United Tribes of the Ik' Ka' Ek' Akai was founded some time long ago, though calendar conversions are being attempted to try to find their origin. They've been through several "ages" or "eras" in their history, each being marked by something significant. Their creation story tells of a once populous and great island in which all were happy, then of a collapse due to the wrath of the gods, ultimately resulting in the four clans sailing away from it to their current locations. Each clan had 3 boats, and each boat settled one of the islands. Their origin, as studied by the Old Earth peoples, appears to stem from indigenous groups in Mexico taking a long migration during a period of war. From there, they appeared to blend with Polynesian cultures and form a new society. The ancient city described in legend is believed to be the Aztec capital of Tenochtitlan, but the lack of written evidence until quite a bit later makes these sorts of things difficult to study. Whatever be the case, they've begun to reenact their old history in their new home.

Personification's Bio: Zeltzinakna is the goddess of the moon and the sea in Yocatullic religion. Her birth would be synonymous with the birth of the Yocatullic culture, and she is viewed as the matriarch of house Yocatul. As much of Yocatullic history is shrouded in legend, though there are recorded dates that have yet to be translated into the standard Gregorian calendar, her exact date of creation is unknown. She has, as is told, led the Yocatullic peoples for most of their existence, along with the other "divines" who personify the other eleven islands. She has been known for a cultural leadership, her island being the Yocatullic hearth, and has been known to attempt diplomacy first. She is often called "Cihuahueytlahtoani" meaning "Empress", and also "Cihuacua" and "Cihuateotl" meaning "goddess". The Yocatullic peoples have drifted far from their origins, though she can still view the personifications of the Aztec Empire and Tihiti as parents.

Personification's Picture/Description: Being the lunar goddess, legends describe her as "White, like the moon's pale face." She's generally thin, and somewhat frail. She is 5'6" tall. She usually wears a fancy dress in the native style, colored purple and blue. It is a simple sleeveless dress, royal purple with dark blue patterns, and belted at the waist. She also wears a shawl of sorts, a sort of ice-blue color and patternless. She wears golden arm rings on both arms, and a leather bracelet on her left wrist. In terms of footwear, she wears simple brown leather boots that reach up to her knees. She wears an obsidian pendant in a square shape, carved on it is the Yocatullic glyph for the moon, and a gold and jade choker. Her hair, and her eyes, are a dark shade of brown that is almost black.

Place on map: French Polynesia

Likes: Diplomatic solutions, music, Yocatullic culture, jade

Dislikes: Cold, foreign colonialism, immediate aggression, deforestation

Most Memorable Trait: Compassion

Distinguishing Items, markings, etc: Shaman staff, being a piece of highly decorated mahogany. It has carvings inlaid, glyphs telling stories and reciting the gods' names, and it has jade and obsidian bead strings hanging from it. It has a ball at the end of it, undecorated.

Crap. This is why maps are generally helpful, albeit a bit hard to maintain. I 'spose my older claims are gone, then. Time to find a newer island chain.

Sorry for saying, but I find all of Polynesia a rather large starting claim.

For the record, the Yocatullic peoples are ethnically Polynesian nonetheless.
