well, she seems to be using the "kill with kindness" tactic... But she herself isn't really aware she's doing it. Still getting her bearings, really (and the coffin is perfectly safe btw, its effectively a bed that can be used for cold sleep/suspended animation.)

the coffin's greatest threat is the nano-mist, which targets the nervous system to override the natural hormones, etc, in order to put someone to sleep. It was used to pacify edamiel while she was undergoing the "reprogramming". Worst it could do is put you to sleep for as long as the timer is set for.
