So, Aldel, I figure it's about 900 odd miles from our border to your capital via road, if your road only deviates 10% from the straight path as the crow flies. A man on horseback riding who is an expert could do about fifty miles a day, if he switched to a new animal frequently, perhaps a hundred. Given my armies can advance at an average of fifteen miles per day, a fairly slow rate given the lack of good roads, close terrain, and light Andaman resistance, I figure the Mughal forces should have advanced to besiege Mandalay in Burma.

Does that seem reasonable?

Eh, tis the OP's pace. I presume it's slowed down for wars, but we're still talking a good 9-20 days in the future as far as the war goes, given the time it would have taken for news of the invasion to reach your capital.
