Brief (Paragraph) Description of your nation's history since the 2040s: Amidst the chaos of the Asian war and the fall of the UN, previously simmering tensions in Central America became unchecked even with the USA being so close and territorial wars broke out. Guatemala invaded Belize as it had long since wanted to do so. A coalition of Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Honduras invaded a now weak Panama after international military was withdrawn for the important canal due Panama beginning to heavily tax international trade to keep its economy afloat. Theses countries were being negatively affected by the dwindling flow of trade through the area and took it upon themselves to restore order. However inter fighting broke out between the coalition over who got to control the canal. Meanwhile Mexico was undergoing a political revolution and the communist People's Mexican Republican Party took control after a sweeping landslide majority in the elections. This new communist country saw what was happening in the south and along with Guatemala invaded the squabbling coalition countries and after a short war won. Mexico refused to reinstate the previous borders and annexed Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. At the same it used its overwhelming economic and political influence to persuade Guatemala to unify with Mexico. 5 years later El Salvador submitted to the same pressure thus unifying the entire Central America. Once stability was restored the technological revolution of the 21st century arrived and sweeped across the empire establishing cloning and advanced military weaponry with the governments control. Now the empire sets its sights on bringing order back to the world under the only government capable of doing so, communism.

Manufactures many products, most of them basic uncomplicated designs but is seeing an increase in specialised, high quality designs especially in areas important to the government such as military and space technology.
Brief (Paragraph) Description of your nation's society: The people receive extreme political and economic equality which is of a higher quality than pre 2040 communist nations as the empire has tried to avoid making historical mistakes but the government still keeps a tight lid on things. Under the rule of the communist party Mayan culture is seeing a rise along with other long forgotten cultures but none of them have any large hold on the population with Catholicism remaining dominant. This strong catholic faith leads to conflict between the government and extremist religious groups who want to see practices such as cloning shut down, often angering the government who clamp down hard on them in regular public protests.

The explosions rang out across the square. Deafening to the ear. The stench of petrol from combusting cars and petrol bombs filled the air. The government vehicles and riot police moved in under the cover of the tear gas which now had the protestors cowering on the floor in pain and fear. Those who still stood were beaten down to the floor by the truncheons. Shoots were fired from both sides but the special clone police were far more stronger and better equipped than the rag tag rioters. Silence fell, the sound of sirens and bodied being dragged across blood stained and rubble littered floor. Within minutes the scene of the massacre was cordoned off, no news reporters there to uncover what had happened, only the official government report. The same scene had played out across the empire that night in what would be the greatest government crack down since the cloning riots broke out. A crack down that ended the riots there and then, before a revolution was sparked.- The cloning riots of 2056

Adenian, whenever you're doing map work next, could you add the rest of Manchuria on to China? I can TG you a link to maps showing where the modern RL border is, because that's where it is now. The current one means China will have lost Qiqihar, Harbin, and a bunch of valuable land near the Amur as well as some mineral deposits, all of which China needs and would not ever give up.
