Most of the economy is in the state hands or heavily state regulated, and with foreigners not allowed to own any land inside the nation. The economy is quite well-developed, but lies in ruins after the long religious and ethnic conflicts in the Levant.

It discriminates both based on religion and race, and actively oppresses the people. Therefore the more rural areas to the east are in a state of almost constant rebellion.

Fascism was never a dead ideology in Austria. During the catastrophic years of the 2040s, fascism was yet again seen as a solution to all the problems. Jobs would be created, a sudden influx of immigrants would be stopped, and the faltering concept of democracy would be removed. Friedrich Adler had for years organized a fascist party, highly emphasizing the integrity of German Austrians.
Supported by the people, as showed by opinion polls, Adler led a coup d’etat and took control of the government. He became der Adler aus Österreich, or the Eagle from Austria, both internally and internationally. Democracy was removed, with no actual elections justifying his rule. However, people were relatively happy with the situation, excluding many of a foreign background. Switzerland had suffered an equally harsh rise of fascism, as the German-speaking populace saw the success of Fascist Austria. Not long after, Switzerland merged peacefully with Austria and formed “Austria and the Alps”. Crammed between growing empires, they attempted to maintain a relatively peaceful approach. Despite the idea of "Lebensraum", they had little space to expand upon. Eyes were constantly watching for their enemies to mess up, for the Czechs to be merged, for Alsace-Lorraine to yet again become German. The army has later on become the top of the agenda, fighting the spread of communism and the new rise of democracy. Revolts are crushed, and the government manages to look glorious and powerful to it's country.

Brief (Paragraph) Description of your nation's economy:Despite a minor drop of the economy during the early years of the international crisis of the 40s, Austria could rapidly recover due to an organized ruling party. With the addition of Switzerland, the banking traditions of the Swiss Confederation would benefit the economy of the nation. Austrians can today experience a terrific life, with vacations and humane working conditions.

Brief (Paragraph) Description of your nation's society: Due to the state ideology, immigrants are nearly non-existent. Most are actually shot on spot, though those able to provide for society, or hold a pure ethnical background, are granted access. Clones make up a bulk of the working class and many even serve in the military, following orders solely from the ruling elite. Their growing numbers and importance in society are even contributing that they might soon be used as placeholders in parliament and within politics.
Propaganda is hammered into everyone's’ brains, maintaining a relatively obedient population. Revolts have occurred, though all members of said revolts have been executed.

Brief (Paragraph) Description of your nation's history since the 2040s:When the Oil Economy started to collapse, Saudi Arabia declared war on Iraq to hopefully secure the last oil on Earth. Then Iran, seeing the chance for a power play, jumped in. America sent troops, but by 2039 the place was in total Anarchy. There was no ''winner'', but the American Troops managed to put up a new government, and managed to rule it. Since then, the process of making Arabia more western has been going slowly but well, and Masir has become a regional power in its own right by converting its Oil Economy to cheap producing, and the mountains in Iran provide ample materials for said producing. Masir is growing fast, and its children may just see a United Middle East.
Brief (Paragraph) Description of your nation's economy:Masir has a very good economy. When the Oil Economy started to drop off, they invested in transferring their Oil Factories to productio based factories. This makes most products extremely cheap for the citizens of Masir. Iran houses one of the biggest uranium reserves in the world, assuring nuclear fusion power for the people also. Mainly the economy is very export based.
Brief (Paragraph) Description of your nation's society:The society of Masir is a melting pot of Christians,Jews,Islamists and Atheism. But through government brute force and just general human kindness, the cultures in Masir have melted to produce a very immigrant based nation. There is virtually no Lower Class, as most people have decent pay Factory jobs, making the Middle Class the usual. The people of Masir are by nature peaceful, but know very well that war is inevitable and prepare for it every day.
