Also the rest of the world didn't collapse, if anything you would be behind. Thus is a PMT tech RP, of pales have just as advanced if not more advanced tech than you. The rest of the US didn't collapse it was simply reorganized so no inland tribes. We can trade with Europe all we want so you are modifying others' nations without their consent.

The Azores

The small communities living in the Azores had sure been surprised, when Portuguese Peacekeepers had landed and began to distributing supplies and recruiting labour. A small military base has already been built, which also doubles as an airport, and a village for the 3,000 or so remaining inhabitants has been built. Rich fishing grounds are providing large amounts of food for close to 60% of the populace, the rest will be imported from Portugal. Around 200 more peacekeepers will be sent to boost the 300 person strong garrison.


Finland


Several hundred peacekeepers parachuted into the North of the country, each was armed with the respective weaponry of their chosen soldiering profession. Soon, the 800 peacekeepers had set up in a small base which was designated 'Safe Zone' against 4th Reich purges. By night, a steady stream of refugees had began to enter the zone. They'd be safe for the time being, of course, financial constraints prevents a large peacekeeping force from entering the country.
