Roman Empire wasn't Catholic for most of it's time. It was Hellenic Pagan. Again, it's a Symbolic thing.
The Actual Vatican, along with the territory in South America.
The pope has no reason to have the land in South America. He's a religious head.

Well, depends on how you look at it. Rome survived until 1453, and christian from around 300, so more than 1000 years. Still, even if it is symbolic, the effects will be dramatic. Such as rituals, sacrifices, and the fact that the state officials should be Hellenistic Pagans.
Rome didnt fall in the 1400's. It fell WAY before then.
