In the temperate lands of High Equestria, there reigned two Queens of great prowess and majesty. The gracious Queen Woodcarver of the West concerned herself but with the happiness of her own subjects. She preached the acceptance of all the races of Equestria, and so they came and settled in droves. Ponies of all types, zebras and griffons would soon fill the many towns under Woodcarver, yet there was a surprising peace to last for decades. But the same was not true of other lands. Queen Flenser, ruling the Domain of the East, was neither gracious nor kind hearted. She was intelligent, she was cunning and resourceful. Flenser was wary of her neighbors, so the Queen of the East raised an army. Though it was small and scarcely equipped, it was the finest 5,000 ponies Flenser could raise. It was meager, and it was weak, but the resourceful Queen knew to make do. When the soldiers of the East marched for the Griffon kingdoms, Flenser took her first province. With a new land under her control, her army grew, as did her power. An army of 5,000 then 50,000 and soon 500,000 would march under her banner, fight in her name and follow the words of her commands. Before long, the day came when the Realm of the West came to know that even the great Queen Woodcarver could not keep Flenser's armies in check. Since that fateful day, the rule of Woodcarver has withered. Every year, the West pays a tribute to the East, and Flenser shifts her legions across new lands. And now, there is more unrest in the lands of Equestria. Flenser reached and impasse in the Long Lakes Republic, high in the frozen north, and there are murmurs that her power wanes. As battalions struggle home from Flenser's hard defeat, so foreign agents follow in their wake. Plots and threats linger in the dry wintery airs of the east, and to top it all off, Woodcarver failed to pay the annual tribute and . But these trying times are not only a grave threat for the crown and its cohorts, but also a great opportunity for those disgruntled under Queen Flenser's cold, hard rule.

Hello, and welcome to this role play of my creation. Yes, it is a pony role play, but if you read the first line I imagine you know that. You, dear reader, will play the role of just about whomever you please, so long as I approve it of course. Your many characters may seek to bring down my Queen Flenser, or perhaps to restore order to the provinces in her name, or anything in between.
Before I tell you the rules, I'd like to note an important detail about the world of the two Queens here. This universe is not so much this is canon Equestria with some other things on top, and much more this is some other things with canon Equestria on top. This is to say that this world is much more of my own creation than created on the basis of the Equestria you know. To be perfectly honest, I've had this world plotted out long before I even heard of such a thing as "My Little Pony". This is little more than the pony adaptation of that world. Due to this, it might be worth saying that Alicorns don't exist in my world. Queens Flenser and Woodcarver are both Unicorns.

1-No goddmoding, trolling, metagaming, etc.
2-Be sensible, be aware of the role play you are posting in. Please make your own characters and posts coherent with the general story.
3-You're free to act in violence and such as you please, but you must keep it reasonable. I'm awfully lenient when it comes to what is "appropriate" and what isn't, but in the name of Celestia there are some things that are too far. I don't want this role play shut down.
4-If you feel the need to do so, you should feel free to use some 'NPC' characters for your own purposes, provided you keep them a minor element of your posts. Don't use this as an excuse to make up a bunch of characters on the sly.
5-I am no God, but in this thread my word is law. Obey the law or face law enforcement.
