O.O Oktoberfest is celebrated in the Philippines, actually. I'm not sure how it's related to Germany though...

Oktoberfest is the world's largest funfair held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. It is a 16-day festival running from late September to the first weekend in October with more than 6 million people from around the world attending the event every year. Locally, it is often simply called Wiesn, after the colloquial name of the fairgrounds (Theresienwiese) themselves. The Oktoberfest is an important part of Bavarian culture, having been held since 1810. Other cities across the world also hold Oktoberfest celebrations, modeled after the original Munich event.

I was watching torchwood and the leader of the torchwood is this immortal guy that cant be killed and is allways going on about finding some doctor to figure out why and to fix it. In one episode, there is a bright light and a wooshing sound and he dissapears for a couple episodes, only to come back later and say he found his doctor. Here is the funny part, in that episode where he dissapears in the first place into the bright light, the wooshing sound, sounds identical to the tardis from doctor who when it teleports into a place. His doctor must be "the doctor."

Captain Jack Harkness is in a few episodes of Doctor Who, so I would assume that is when he, in Torchwood, "found his doctor"

I just finished watching the david tennant specials of doctor who so I know what you mean now. He runs into harkness at an alien bar in the future in the last episode before he morphs into doctor 11. So at least now I can watch the rest of torchwood, knowing what that episode was all about.

the torchwood and doctor who tv shows are in the same universe, just like black mesa and apeture science are in the same universe.

He is also in an episode with the 9th Doctor related to one of the creepiest Doctor Who episodes (Written by the guy who now runs the show, though the plot is now getting considered kinda lacking). It has a bunch of kids in gas masks going around saying "Are you my mommy?"

I actually played an online game once where you could play as these "Sprites", which apparently are adults stuck in children's body. And in the cash shop one day, a gas mask showed up that you could wear, and I couldn't resist. Well, I think I bought it in-game, but not sure. I put that gas mask on and ran around town saying "Are you my mommy?"

I remember that episode. I could have sworn that was the 10th doctor. anywho, it was creepy as hell, I agree. But I dont recall harkness being in it. Guess I need to re-watch it again.

If you want to time skip Colin and the Cowden's storyline Amiege, go ahead. Unless you have other ideas still.

Kinda was hoping colin would try to sneak a peek. the girls left the door partially open on purpose. But if his only plan is to date one of them once or twice and then they go onto whatever they were going to do next, then yes, a time skip would be a good idea right about now.

I think Aiden came up with an idea at a good time, because Electra was just about to, despite the fact they planned for escape techniques, to turn herself in exchange for her friends freedom. Because at this point, she feels like she's got nothing to live for, so is no longer selfish for her own purposes. Now all she cares about is her group and their safety.

Well be forewarned, the girls are only kids and thus need lots to keep them entertained. He keeps being all goody goody and acting like he has no sexual interest toward them, they will get bored with him quickly.

Well I dont think she'll have to wait long. I have plans for the cowdens to find the NSA building and then realize they have no idea how to work most of the machinery in there let alone how to get something as complex as the internet back up and running, so they'll just set down a beacon near it so they can use their gps to find it again later and then they will drive off to find the air force academy and sheyenne mountain.

Actually, I believe they'll be broken out before too terribly long with the help of others before the Cowden's even arrive. By the time the Cowden's arrive, it might be rather...Mellow compared to what it was. There will still be people there, but not nearly as many.

Well as for colin, we'l just have to wait and see what happens I suppose. As for the people, well as long as there's bad guys to fight, I think they'll be happy. The whole point of the slingshot crossbow is to launch stink bombs at the snipers and see them stumble around, choking on the stench and eventually, during their stumbling around, not see the edge of their sniper perch and watch them fall off, quite possibly to their deaths.

Plus it can be used to launch smoke bombs into the base, forcing people to come running out or choke to death on the smoke. And when they come out to get away from the smoke, they can be met with a couple guns shooting at them while they are still disoriented and delerious.

Well it looks like America (real life) isnt the only country preparing for war or whatever you guys are preparing for. I've been reading stuff online about fema camps and martial law and a bunch of other stuff over there. Just this last night, between 8:00 to midnight, 5 military helicopters flew over my house. Im freaking out over here, and Im not even in america.

We're just pissed off at how cops are getting let off for EVERYTHING right now, even when they're BLATANTLY ON VIDEO. This cop did a chokehold on this guy and killed him. He was on video the whole time. The choke hold was considered illegal by the NYPD. He still got let off with no charges. And this man he choked to death was unarmed and being caught for a minor crime.

And there's just the whole brutality of cops altogether right now. This cop who shot an unarmed black teenager (Lot's of theories of it being racially motivated crap as well) SIX TIMES, also got let off. Recently a story of a couple police chasing something with autism for fun. 12-year old gets shot and killed by cops while wielding toy gun. We're just getting fed up with the bullshit and militarization of the military. Seriously, after the Ferguson thing, they practically rolled in with mini tanks.

I'm not sure I'd call it like a war is starting, but we're certainly getting fed up even more. There is SO much to be fed up with in this country. One of the worst first world countries out there right now.

I'm not sure what's going on over where you are, though...
