Anthem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUrIq_HPpMg (0:00-2:43) (Duty, Courage, Honour)
Population: 89,500,000
Economy: Heavily industrial and urbanized
Military Composition: The Orb Union maintains a small professional military consisting of the Orb Land Forces and Orb Naval Forces. It's small size relative to its population is compensated by its advanced technology. The Orb Land Forces maintains active 250,000 soldiers and various equipment. The Orb Naval Forces maintain 135 warships including 20 armoured cruisers. A small department of the Naval Forces make up the Orb Air Forces which maintains 10 airships for reconnaissance.
History: The Orb Union is a state that has seen much internal strife. Centuries of war over petty squabbles threatened to tear the island-continent asunder. The war raged on until there were only three factions left, the noble Houses of the land; House Abukara, House Izumo and House Tachibana. It was noted that the constant warring had caused considerable damage for not much gain. While the three Houses planned their next moves, a peace of sorts overtook the land. During this peace, artists and scientists flourished. There was outreach between the three Houses holdings which eventually led to an atmosphere of cooperation. During this prosperous time, the leaders of the three Houses agreed to form a union to prevent a return to war and bitter rivalry. A constitution was drafted to be fair to all three Houses and ensured they each had equal representation in the form of a Supreme Council. The Supreme Council had leadership that rotated between the leaders of the Houses every five years, with the incumbent bearing the title of Chief Representative. While rivalries and politics still exist in the Supreme Council, it has successfully kept the land at peace for over a hundred years. The Orb Union is still in a prosperous age with great advances being made in technology and culture. The Council has just sworn in a new Chief Representative in Lady Ai Abukara representing House Abukara. The times ahead will truly test her leadership.
Religion: None
Diplomatic Relations: The Orb Unions practices absolute neutrality. Orb will only become involved in conflicts if it is integral to its interests or in self-defence. However, Orb has no qualms about supplying other states with weapons and other supplies. It prefers to use economic and technological power over military power.
Major Industries: Shipbuilding, Arms Manufacturing, Mining, Fishing
Major Exports: Military equipment, seafood, manufacturing tools
Resources: Major deposits of fish, iron, and coal. Minor deposits of oil, aluminum and silver
Special Resource: Mithril
Yeah, I lowballed my military a bit to keep it realistic, but some people have ridiculous militaries like one guy with 3,000 warships. He seemed to be the exception rather than the rule so I went with the norm. I really hope I don't run into a player with 3,000 warships
EDITED: Enhanced history, added actual anthem, made flag visible, added unique resource and reduced military size to reflect it being small but advanced.

Also the IC is being made now. And Northern Avalon is willing to invest in growing industrial nations as well. Also, who took copper? And G you said something about bauxite?

I believe one of our nations, forgot who, asked for bauxite as their unique resource, and you accepted them.

Or do I do something similar to Dunwall with whale oil on the NE island chain...

Regular minerals like coal, sulphur, iron, oil, etc cannot be used a UR. Whales are taken already as well. Think of it like a special mineral. Like mithril or saronite (Both taken). I accept fantasy minerals so long as they are within reason.

Avalonia. You largest neighbor and open to diplomatic relations.Liberated Counties wrote:

Well the cars in Avalonia are. You can decide rails or not. But again remember, but there aren't a lot of cars and there is nearly no manufacturing for them. The wealthy own them all. And the Governments as well if you want.

How about crude oil, since it isn't in widespread use just yet since coal is still the dominant fuel?
And answers to my earlier question on whether the NE island chain is taken or not?

No because a lot of countries have crude oil, including mine. And yes, anything with coloured in on the map is either reserved or taken.
