Its a bit unnerving to hear that she sustained such heavy damage while merely acting as a reconnaissance unit away from the action. "Had to replace the music player I lost in New Mexico." He looked back at the stacks of cd's. "Yep, I'm Gama. Can't imagine there's very many teenagers here. Your one of the new members right. Its Charlie right...or was it Clarrise....I'm sorry, there have been so many new people I've been having a hard time keeping track."

She giggled quietly. "Yeah, I'm new here." She said cheerfully. She was looking forward to the life she would have with GAMA - she had read all about it, and from what she had experienced so far her new life was very interesting. She put her hands behind her back, and then bent over slightly, her toes off the ground. She smiled with one side of her mouth, then pushed her hips forward, to make her rock onto her toes, then stood upright. "And yeah, its Charlie."

Rei looked surprised when her Russian counterpart broke away from her sleep momentarily to tell her of this bear wearing human clothes while making popcorn from a flying vodka bottle and having bacon seeping from the odd animal's mustache. It was difficult for her to understand and was going to ask for the Russian to repeat that before realizing that the Russian asleep once again. Even though Rei was in a military base she couldn't shake the feeling of not being secure and that a simple horde of undead could easily turn the military base into another version of what used to be her home in New Mexico.

"Hello, my name is Alexis. I was just transferred here from a base in North America. Are you heading into town?" asked Alexis.

"Hey there! Triela is mine. I'm going down into town to see what's there, 'cause I've never been there, " she said as she scratched the back of her head. "If you want to come along, be my guest. I offered to the others, but nobody wanted too, so I was just gonna go alone. Some company would be nice," she continued as she re-adjusted her guitar case on her back, and in turn started wrecking her suit.

"Sure, let's go," said Alexis, forcing her best smile. She didn't like this girl's attitude one bit. She seemed almost hyper. That can get you killed. But because she would probably be saving her ass in a few weeks, Alexis reasoned that she might as well know whose ass she was going to save. "Ready to go now or shall we wait for some more people?"

Gil grinned when he saw Gil and Val. He chuckled a bit before opening his mouth to speak, before shutting it up when a new face spoke to Gil. They both talked before the new guy left. Will cleared his throat before speaking again. "Well, you didn't take very long. I was planning on waiting for you two anyways. I mean, I know Allison is in there, so I needed you two to back me up. It was either that or I would have to tell her that you dragged me along, saying something about me being a fourth wheel or something of that sort," he said, chuckling at his comedic remark," Anyways, now that we are all here, let's head inside." He shifted a few feet, bowed, and waved his hands towards the motor pool doors. "Couples first," he said in a smooth voice before breaking into a chuckle.

It felt a bit odd to be addressed as a couple, but Gilbert was happy to oblige Will's joke. He led Valeria to the door of the hangar and continued inside. It didn't take long to find Allison towards the other side of the hangar, with her no nonsense attitude it was hard to miss the effect that she had on whatever area she was in.

"Hey!" Gilbert called with a wave. He headed over toward her, being careful to make sure that Will was following behind him and Valeria just right that he was somewhat hidden. "So... You didn't exactly say no to the idea of company so I let a couple people come along. However I did keep the numbers low for you." Gilbert finished it up with a disarming grin to appear innocent in the matter.

Lorelei shifted her attention to her tablet momentarily as she checked the status of the other items that were on her to do list for the day. The VALK was finished with its construction, the revamped ANGEL was borderline finished, and when she brought up Gilbert's status it showed that he was in the motor pool. Undoubtedly going out for the night, which left her plenty of time to help Dr. Grossman.

"I think there's an opening in my schedule to assist you." Dr. Jarnefeldt replied as she turned off the tablet screen and looked up to her colleague. "Though given her condition, I think it's fair to say that this operation might take a while Dr. Grossman."

Allison looked over to Gilbert and Valeria as they walked over. Then he heard him talk about how she reacted to the question about other company being brought out. She would've made the answer apparently clear if Anna hadn't been next to her and Mary at the time, so she did the same thing she did in the mess hall and gave him a look. She wasn't buying his shtick entirely, but she wasn't in the mood to make a big deal out of it. She had other things to do today, and with Anna around, she'd have an easier time making herself the fifth wheel and giving her an excuse to break away. There was something she needed to take care of, after all. With that in mind, she got off the side of the SUV and took the driver's seat, waiting for the others to get in as she started the engine.

Valeria didn't want to seem to intrude, and so kept her mouth shut on the matter. She liked the idea of the Valkyries socializing with each other, team building so to speak. It also meant blowing off steam and allowing them some sense of meaning to live. Beyond being soldiers. At the notion of soldiering her thoughts drifted as she sat next to Gilbert. The drifting of her thoughts mirrored by her putting her arm on the sill of the window and gazing out at the gorgeous landscape.

She whispered, "Where are you." A reference to Constantine, she had not heard anything for a long time. He'd always kept in touch in some form or another previously. It troubled her deeply.

Gilbert jumped in the back of the SUV next to Valeria and with both of the girls distracted, he looked to Will and motioned him to sit in the front next to Allison. Gilbert offered Will a playful smile as if to say 'you're welcome' to him. It always did make him feel better about himself when Gilbert helped others out, plus he couldn't help but find Will's crush amusing. He knew it was rude, but so long as he helped Will out then Gil felt that it wasn't all that bad. Just before he disappeared within the SUV, Gil stuck his head back out the door and looked over to Anna. With a discreet wag of the finger, he tried to signal her to sneak into the vehicle as well. He relaxed back into the seat, resting his arm over Valeria's shoulder and waiting for Allison to take off.

"So any idea what type of food were we looking for?" Gilbert asked. "Small diner as per usual, or did anyone have anything in mind?"

Will let out a bit of a sigh. He was relieved that things went without incident. Gil was right. Or maybe he was worrying too much. Nevertheless, he was glad. He shot Gil a bit of a shocked look when he gestured to the front seat. "Damnit Gil," he thought to himself. He chuckled a bit and then climbed into the front seat. He looked to Allison, a nervous feeling welling up inside of him.

"So you good at driving this sort of vehicle?" he said to the lady behind the wheel.

Charlie smiled as Gregory turned away to pay for his things. She switched back to finding some headphones, but she had almost given up hope. However, she turned and looked down the aisle, and finally saw the perfect pair. She grabbed them, and bounced over to the counter, elated that she had finally found the right headphones. She handed over the headphones, then pulled out some money and handed it to the man behind the counter. He looked down at the cash register to put the money in, and them he glanced back up at Charlie's bright blue hair, with a look of confusion coming through in his eyes. Oh well - Charlie got second looks wherever she went. She pulled open the box as she walked away from the counter, and plugged her new headphones into her phone, putting her music on.
"So, how about that food?" She asked Gregory as she passed him to leave the shop. She threw the box in the bin outside the shop, and turned back towards the shop to see where Gregory was.

As Anna took the rear seat on the SUV, Allison adjusted the mirror. It didn't need to be adjusted from it's current position (she could see out the back window just fine), but she did it anyway. She had noticed Gil giving Will the front seat by his claim of the middle row with Val. She reflected her gaze directly to Gilbert in the back and gave him a glare that said "I'm going to kill you for this later" before she put it back up and pulled out of the motor pool. About ten minutes later, they arrived at a small restaurant. Allison seemed to know exactly where they were going, as she didn't take her sweet time getting there. She hopped out and went in first.

"We'll need a big table with eight chairs, please." She said to the hostess.

"How many in your party?"

"Five."

"I see...would you rather like-"

"Eight...please don't make me repeat myself." She said looking to the others as they were about to walk in.

"I see...follow me, if you will." The hostess said as she led the five Valkyries to their designated table. After a few minutes a waitress came by. "What'll we be having to drink?" She asked.

"Almost!" she shouted as she ran over to her own VALK. "Neptune is an older model, so It might take some time for it to boot up. Bear with me for a second. Oh ya, get your radio on Channel 7. That way I won't have to keep yelling!" She called.

The girl looked back over towards the newer mech that her new friend had and noticed that it seemed very state of the art compared to her own. Up the side-ladder she went, with her case still on her back and eagerness in her heart. After she had reached the platform, she pulled out and turned a small lever on the back of her VALK that opened a storage compartment for her to stow her luggage, which in this case was her coat and guitar case. She climbed aboard through the back hatch and slid into pitch-black the cockpit of her VALK. With the touch of a couple buttons, blue light illuminated the darkness that had once surrounded her. She then turned her own radio over to channel seven and said, "Can you hear me?"

Triela then disengaged the bolts on the side that were keeping her mech in place. The metal behemoth rose from the bay slowly, emphasizing the weight of her craft. The large engines on it's back rumbled and roared as the mechanical beast came to life. Triela then leaded her VALK in it's start-up maneuvers to make sure that everything was in good working order, and then out of instinct she went and reached for Neptune's rifle.
"Hey, should I bring this?" She said over the comms to her partner.

"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE, LADIES!" Came a loud and slightly deep female voice. Mary stepped over to where Alexis and Triela were mounting their VALKs. She crossed her arms and stared intently at the two. "What part of bringing a fully equipped twenty plus ton killing machine into a civilian town full of busy people strikes you as a good idea? Do you want your commander to smoke your ass for lunch for taking GAMA registered equipment without written consent? I'm sure the Captain would love to dish out KP duty to you two for doing such a stupid thing like that."

It was something rather disturbing to Joshua's own sense of self-preservation when he felt himself look upon it. Everything in his mind was screaming no, but rather, his body was practically aching for it. So plump and juicy in appearance, glimmering in the soft light and upon initially inspecting it physically, it also appeared to be perhaps softer than a child's bottom. Why did any of this matter? Why was he pause here, hanging on the precipice of doing something so dangerous and malicious to his own body. He wasn't ready for this, he was far too young to be allowing such childish pleasures to get in the way. He looked up into the eyes of the woman before him and shook his head," I'm sorry, I just can't."

"It's okay, I understand. You VALKyries have to stay pretty healthy I presume. Though I've didn't notice any of the others having such a reservation over eating but a simple pastry." the young woman on the other side of the counter replied while slowly moving her hand to remove the offending piece of food off of his plate.

"I know, I'm sorry, it was a mistake. I kept hearing about jam-filled donuts, but on looking at it closer, I don't think I need something that's liable to give me a heart-attack in the next week all that much anymore. Good day to you." With that said, the young man turned his back on the dessert counter within the mess and made his way out and into the rest of the base. It was precisely upon leaving the mess though that he heard a noise. He knew that some of the VALKyries had been planning a city-side excursion, but the engines he could hear, and judging by the tones, it was only two, one of which he couldn't identify (making her the other new arrival scheduled to arrive today) and the other being all-to-familiar and belonging to the girl they'd met when they returned...

A quick run towards the hangars validated his suspicions and he promptly headed for his own VALK. These were highly armed war-machines, not toys simple transports. Using them without direct orders or without a clear training purpose, would undoubtedly lead to the suspension of their own ability to be allowed to drive their VALK's for quite a hefty amount of time. As he had begun booting up his own VALK, he watched as a lone figure crossed the hangars to deal with the situation in hand, and so, stopping short of actually mounting his steed, he stood by and watched the situation unfold, his own maintenance crews looking worriedly between the event further within the hangar's confines and their VALKyrie pilot standing poised to move into action, though how, and why, was still left to be seen.

"Ma'am, we wanted transport. This is transport. It would get the job done fast and efficiently, and we only need it to get to the fringe of the town. Of course, bringing the VALKs into the town would have negative repercussions, so I assure you that we did not intend on doing that. Ma'am, if I knew that there were some trucks or something, I would've taken those. Ever since I got here, and to a lesser extent ever since Alexis got here as well, we never got a tour. To my knowledge, this is how you got around. I was wondering how people got to town. Since you seem to not be the biggest fan of us doing this, can you point us in the direction of some other vehicles that we may use? It would make everyone's life easier. You can come too if you want. I'm buying dinner for us," answered Triela to the Officer as she gestured to her new friend.

"You got a mouth on you, missy. You ain't in kindergarten anymore, so we don't treat you like kids. Get out of that machine before I break my foot off in your ass. Since you seem to no be aware that we have protocol that dictates our daily routine to prevent accidents and mass hysteria, I'm gonna explain somethin' to ya: You want to take "your" VALK out on an extra-curricular drive? You talk to me, unless you like cleaning latrines. The town is a six minute drive, but since you seemed to not be thinking so clearly, perhaps a little fresh air will do you some good. Why don't you two go for a nice walk and maybe, if you're lucky, you'll find Fisher and she'll give you a lift home. If she's feeling generous. That understood?"

"Yes Ma'am!"

Triela paused.

"The offer still stands though. Would you care to dine with us?" Triela said quickly.

She kinda felt a bit guilty, and was doing her best to cover her new comrade's ass. Triela moved her VALK back into place and powered it down, and like lions before they go to bed, the roar of her engines faded. She could feel a trickle of sweat fall of her cheek as she popped the hatch to her VALK and climbed out. The lever was turned again, and she reached in and grabbed her coat and case.
