In the year 1992, fire rained from the sky, and
the world had finnaly felt the result of a long
Cold War. The Nuclear Holocaust eradicated
the majority of humanity, and for over 100 years,
the world lie in ruin. It wasn't until 2100, when
the steel doors of the American Bunkers opened, mainly from Cheyanne mountain, that
humanity began to progress again. The Western
Bunkers went on to create the New California
Republic, or NCR, while the Eastern Bunkers
went on to create the New Republic of America,
or NRA. These nations grew into the 2 major powerholders in North America. But not only America was progressing.

Spain
had began to grow again, as well as Russian
and Indian groups. The world seems to pull itself
out of Nuclear devestation.... but War, War Never Changes...

Russian troops have been roaming around Russia planning to attack and annex somewhere.
" sir we should send troops to cheronobel to see if we can find any scientific information and invade the land on our way there." Said Tom Mason's assistant.

Men crossed over the Russian border for the first time into east Europe heading to cheronobel.
Troops entered through the former Ukraine state Sumy. The men would march through chernihiv and then would arrive at the state of Kyiv. It should take them 2 weeks to annex the state. Then they would go to chernobly. On the way the would leave some troops in the other states. It should take them 3 weeks to annex the states.

Stanford, the shining Capital of the CoK. After Frankfort was obliterated in the nuclear war. The Kentucky government had moved here. And rebuilt the government. Only to collapse weeks after completion. Now, the Payne Monarchy stould in its place. An unwavering monarchy. Devoted to protect the former way of life for the southern states, and rebuilding there world. In the capital, many of the souths former elite had taken refuge here once the new King of Kentucky had taken power and made the city into a stronghold. Many had fled for the safety of its defenses. And now, now the city was one of the most highest populated, and growing. 34,000 inhabited the city. The former elite had spent most of there money to buy positions on the Imperial Council. New policies were going quickly into effect. Rebuilding the empire.

Little Rock, Arkansas:
Little Rock had become the temporary depot for trains bringing supplies from across the nation. Trains carrying grain from the farms, fruits gathered on farms, canned food found on searching territories into any uncontrolled territory. Little Rock served as the distribution center. Food was dispensed evenly to the states who divided it among every listed citizen with a ration card. Most of the country was being fed. Little Rock also served as the naval HQ for the CoK naval forces.

Montgomery, Alabama:
Montgomery served as the nations repair center. Trains, military vechiles, anything the country needed repair. Came here. Fuel was also collected here. Fuel collected on runs by supply teams were brought on food trains and stored here. Factories also worked here. Producing basic needs for the country.

Nashville, Tennessee:
Nashville was a military city. Warehouses kept the repaired tanks that could be salvaged, any vechile that had served in the military was stored here. Many of the museums in the nation had been cleared and all the vechiles sent to Nashville. Uniforms and military weapons were also delivered to the city. The city was protected by the remains of a few military jets they had found untouched or in basic needs of repairs. Warehouses were filled with weapons.

Orlando, Florida:
2,750 of the CIG, Commonwealths Imperial Guard, were marching in military standard. Many people were shocked at these uniforms and flags waving. Trucks held supplies and troops shook hands and said hello as the continued on. Many people could only watch as these soldiers just marched by. With them was Officials from Stanford. Who told the people of the CoK. How society was strong again. How law had been restored. Most signed citizenship papers and were off to the border to join the nation. But on the outskirts of Orlando, Crime-Lords were determined to keep there grip on the city. But could not hold against the military of the CIG. Which fired a massive mortar strike all over the cities downtown. CIA soldiers stormed into the city. Crime-Lords could only surrendor as CIG forces smashed there forces, who dropped there guns and ran. The new POW were forced to gather massive amounts of supplies, turn over the cities storehouses. Trains were arriving to take the supplies back. And the POW were handed over to the Ministry of Organized Labor. To continue construction on rail-lines or to work on the farms.

NCR expedition forces were send eastward. After a few days, they reached the RoK, and demanded to speak to their leader.

Russian troops have reached Chernobly. The state of Kjiv was being annex quick. There is hardly any resistance. On the other hand the other 2 states are not that easy to annex but not hard. Russian men have found 7 math problems the scientist don't understand. They also found a book. All they could read was how to build the exterior of the back of a pick up truck. We also found 7 scientists around the area. There have been 36 casualties of Russian troops so far.

Moscow was nuked to death. The Russian government sat up a small village 20 miles outside of town. The scientists are looking for ways to clean up radiation. Moscow is still able to be lived in but needs cleaning up. The government wants to try to clean radiation up before they move back in. Workers are cleaning up debris in Moscow. Outside of town 2 miles, storage depots are being built to store metal,wood,furniture and other stuff. A vehicle depot is also being built a mile out of town. The vehicles are being put in a large field. The other depots are large holes in the ground going down 10ft. but stairs have been built on 2 sides of each depot that goes down 10ft.

The NCR has just repaired a World War 2 fighter plane that was discovered at an airfield in the Nevada Desert. It is about 90% complete, but a few malfunctions with the engine have sent the engineers back a few weeks. The good thing is, that spare parts are everywhere.

Debating had been going on for hours, as it usually is in the Congress but there were many points of view to consider, and after this mornings announcement that a final draft would be presented and publicly signed by this evening every Texan is holding their breath. And true to their word the Texan Congress presented their final draft to congress promising this document to guide the republic from this time until the end of time.

Texan Constitution.

After it's public signing and reading Texans rejoiced, and feeding on this wave of nationalism and pride the congress, (with president Fords full support) passed resolutions giving major incentives to people to colonize into Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arizona and further into mexico

Railroads are being laid around Russia leading to Moscow. The Russians are trying to connect every town in the territories they own not including what they annex in Ukraine. It will take years but they are working on it. In a big plain 50 miles west of Moscow a big depot is being built. There is going to be a separate holes. Each hole is going to be split up for metal,wood and other materials. Each hole is going to be for a different town in Russia. Pictures of towns before the war found will be used to rebuild that town. But not pictures of every town have been found.

Other news is in Volga a army depot have been discovered 1 plane 67% undestroyed, A tank almost destroyed have been found and 3 transport trucks have been found in almost perfect shape. They just need to be worked on a little bit.A lot of other vehicles have been found but are badly damaged. A depot 10 miles east of Moscow a military vehicle camp is being set up. And a half mile north of that on a hill a army camp is being set up.

Train tracks leading from Moscow to the depots are going to be built. The tracks are going to be built before the other tracks are built. Trains have been found in museums in Russia and are ready to be used when the tracks are built.

December 25th, 2133-Christmas Day

Today, Caesars Legion attacked our great nation, at Hoover Dam. It started this morning, on Christmas, when Legate Graham marched 370 Soldiers onto the Dam. Our men held out well, but pulled back under order of General Oliver. They fell back, off of the Dam and into Boulder City, where they held out.

The 1st Recon Sharpshooters picked off the Officers, leaving the Legionaires leaderless, so they charged, deep into the booby- trapped Boulder City. When the majority of Caesar's Army was in the city, thousands of pounds of explosive ordanance was detonated, killing over 170 Legionaires instantly.

The Legion was now disorganized, and the NCR pushed them back across the Dam, and secured it again, winning the battle. The NCR was victorious, and we weakened the Legion, but we still lost 107 soldiers after the battle was over, and in Boulder City, a monument is to be made.

Indiana-Illinois Border

After months of planning the annexation of Indiana has begun. Within the first few days The Imperial Midwest has secured the strip of land that borders Lake Michigan. With the entirety of the Lake secure the Midwest can rest easy knowing that they are in control of an entire Lake for crops and fresh water.

While this happened Midwestern troops crossed through into the border counties and have begun the task of taking the rest of the state. This is expected to be complete within the next two-three months at current rate. Several scouts have been sent ahead to Indianapolis to scout the area out. They report back and say that the city is in ruins with only a handful of settlements spread throughout the City.

Scientist are beginning to research faster methods of transportation and better weapons for the population.

Scouts have been sent in every direction in hopes of finding other civilizations throughout North America.

Operation November Thunder:
CoK warships with 1,000 marines aboard and 4 cargo freightors sailed around the massive oil rigs and quickly emptied them of supplies and oil. Anything of use. Survivors were loaded onto freightors and the warships anorched beside them. 95% of the oil rigs in the Gulf were cleared. Then the freightors returned the next day with workers.
The freightors wee stripped of there drilling tools and the platforms were turned into off-shore farms. Massive farms were built on them. Farms found that they could grow crops year round here. And the platforms were safer.

--2 weeks later--
20 cargo freightors had been sailed to a smalltown fishing village called Sierras Ridge and anorched. Engineers quickly turned the boats into floating farms and anorched off the coast. Most of the heavily damaged and high cost for repairs, were sunk off the coast to form artifical reefs for the fish. Fishing boats would either catch fish near the platforms, or bring food to the port. Sierras Ridge was the largest port bringing in the supplies from the large project, trains were constantly bringing food in. On a few of the freightors, they were loaded with dirt in there holds and the few remaining seeds for all kinds of trees and and plants were planted and a scientific crew was placed aboard to monitor progress of these floating ecosystems, which were dragged and slowly connected to oil rigs. Several trees had been planted. Project Savior was underway. Repairing soil and ecosystems so they could be brought brought back fertile and ready for use.

Radio Central-Stanford, Ky:
The Radio Central station was one of the few standing modernized stations. The station was responible for keeping the nations updated on events and new laws. The radio tower was able to be heard world-wide, one of the few left. The radio center was given its first world-wide news report from the CoK Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

With Caesar's Legion weak from the Battle of Hoover Dam, General Oliver took this chance to march across Hoover Dam and kick the Legion in the ass. The weakened Legion troops were no match for the high Morale of the NCR troopers. A brief firefight at Fortification Hill led the Legion to be pushed back, deep into Arizona. Their leader, a man called Caesar, has been taken prisoner. After the fall of Fortification Hill, the NCR seized a small town call Bents, and from there push on the retreating Legion forces. The NCR continues to push towards the Legion Capitol at Flagstaff.

Tuscon Arizona
Texans settler's have been getting attack as they (unknowingly) entered Legion territory with the death toll rising congress has giving President Ford authorization to Lead the Texan Ranger's into Arizonian to combat the threat while his Vice President (And brother) Jason Ford stays domestic and keeps the republics other colonization plans on scheduled.
A few weeks later....
President Ford and his ranger approached the city of Tuscan, the legion has been a tough foe, but with every Texan that falls the men grow more and more ferocious and though the order hadn't been given there were to be no survivor's after Texas was done with Tuscon. (Except for the freed slaves)

Fort Antrech,mississippi
500 men of the CIG stould at attention as a hummer and three others hummers pulled into the fort. Soldiers saluted immediatly when the door opened. Empress Gabrielle Payne. She returned the salute. "Fort Antrech is to be the staging area for an invasion into the rest of the state. We will take that state and force all of the people we find into the Grand Army of the Commonwealth!" The soldiers cheered. As citizens of the CoK, there military service ended in 20 years. With free medical for them and there family for life and the best homes in the Capital.

Operation Insurgent:
In a matter of weeks, 1,000 CIG marines pushed through the remains of mississippi. Many Criminal lord and towns that had made themselves into there own were overcome by shock and awe of CIG homemade gernades. Making many surrendor without a fight. The towns soldiers were sent to Antrech where they boarded cattle trains and were sent for the trains camps at Nashville. Elderly and children were held at Antrech as settlers. Within weeks of the CoK insuregentcy. The state fell to the CoK. In the ruined capital of Mississippi, Jackson, the Last govenor of the state formally surrendored the city and the national guard regiments holding the city. Bringing more weapons and trained soldiers into the nation.

Railways were being constructed from the cities still operable rail yard and connected to a operating line which brought reconstruction supplies to the city. Orlando would serve as the countries main farming control. Duke William Defere was appointed Govenor of the state. And was assigned 1,650 men to protect the city and serve as a police force.

Stanford, Ky, CoK:
Emperor Jordan Payne II and Empress Gabrielle Payne sat in the former seat of the Speaker of the House in the Kentucky General Assembly listening to the reports from the Imperial Council High Chambermen. Scientists had found that Lexington and Louisville were now safe to enter for a time and could use the resources and the labs there. The Emperor rolled his eyes. He then smiled as the Commander of the Grand Army of the Commonwealth made his report. The silent draft authorized had brought from the 307,000 Citizens in the CoK, the armed forces had went from 5,750. To 14,500. The Emperor smiled. Then the Economic Advisor informed the Emperor and Empress upon how the factories were slowly building up production. And within 12 years, there output would equal the standards of the Old World before the war. Course the Emperor had hopes his scientists would be bringing back the world to its Old version within less than 12 years. Especially with nuclear reactors bringing unrestricted power back to the cities. A couple scientists had talked about bring back the web in a few short zones near the capital. Along with phones. As some scientists had found the old satelites still in operation. Along with the ISS. "Dr. Isaccs of the Weapons branch believes he can begin the construction of ww2 tanks based on designs and taking apart the tanks from museums and we can be able to field them quickly if the factories in Nashville are opened for work. And with the help of the army to work on them." The Emperor nodded. "Approved." And retired to bed. The Imperial Council reviewed policies and reports from the Dukes and Duchesses. Many feared what laid ahead of them. As the Empress dismissed the council. She smiled at a thought in her head, wonder if the CDC holds anything we can use against our enemies. The NCR Air Force has begun repairing more pre-war planes, mainly WW2, as the 1990s Jets are too complicated and shall take longer. The NCR currently has 3 fighters and 2 bomber.

The NCR has said that Texas will have to leave Arizona for the NCR to occupy completely. Failure to comply will lead to forced evacuation of Texas troops, which against the better equipt and better trained NCR troopers and Rangers, is not something they want.

A memorial has been built in Flagstaff by President Kimbell. It is a statue of a bear with its paw over a dead bull, facing California. The bead holds the flag of the NCR, and the bull is carrying the fallen flag of the Legion. This represents New California Republic victory over Caesars Legion. Also, over 3,000 Legion slaves have been freed and given NCR citizenship. Of those, 1,300 joined the NCR Army to repay their "dept".

Operation Western Search:
120 Marines mounted there horses on the newly established Fort Rogers on the former Mississippi-Louisanna border. Riding across the border they slowly progressed to the city of Baton Rouge looking for any signs of a new nation rumors had told of at court in Stanford. The aging Emperor of the Commonwealth, now 75 years old, had ordered the search so as the CoK could be connected to the world again. Fort Rogers had telegraph lines hooked up finally, connecting the outpost to Jackson, Mississippi. The expiditon rode slowly progressing into Louisianna.

On the top of the steps of the Imperial Palace, 8 trumpetmen, four on each side of the sides, blew there trumpets and the Imperial Guard wearing former US Marines uniforms but with white plumes on the top from a high school band. They stould at attention holding ceremonial spears stould tall as the Emperors car pulled to the bottom of the steps. Two blasts of the trumpets signified the Emperor was home. The Emperor slowly walked up the steps. Two statues stould at the top of the steps, with the rights right hand touching the tips of the left statues left hand and on the oppsite side facing away from him they held spears. Peace and War. He smiled. At the very top was a statue of him in pure marble with his arms crossed behind his back. He smiled again and pushed open the doors. The Duke of Orlando and the Duchess of Jackson were sitting by the fire in the entry hall and stould up when the Emperor entered and bowed deeply. He nodded to them and they rised. "Your highness. Welcome home." The Duchess said and looked at the Duke. "The Council wishes you to announce your heir." The Duke said. Three canidates for the Commonwealths throne were possible: Jordan Payne the III, the most likly as he was the son of the Emperor, Julia LeFae, Daughter of the Empress from a previous marrige, and Chandelor Payne, nephew of the Emperor. The Emperor nodded. "And Im sure they want me to let the Imperial Council vote on my choice." The aging Emperor commented and the Duchess smile faded, He isn't going to let us vote on the next ruler. She thought silently. "Chandelor." he finally said. "Your nephew my lord?" The Duke commented walking over to the Emperor who was struggling to sit down. "My son is not fit to rule.
