I really think there are way too fucking many in the recent games; hence why I prefer FireRed.

I find it far easier to strategize with the original 151. (I think that's the number?)

Anyways, I think at a certain point in the middle of Generation IV (or maybe even III), making Pokemon became much more difficult; I think a lot of the recent ones have been subpar.
