I found this on TV Tropes.

It amuses me that Danny and Crowley are white male leads, and if this were a TV show, someone would inevitably bitch at me for that.

I made them white because they're Irish and Mark Sheppard, respectively. And I'm Indian. But someone would still bitch at me.

Well, my point there was that in terms of EH, you should probably wait until somebody ACTUALLY complains about it not being diverse enough/whatever before haughtily cutting such hypothetical people down.
Otherwise, it just looks a bit...erm...overly and unnecessarily defensive. Or strawmannish.
I'm not disagreeing with you that people can be silly about this sort of thing, but I'd just hold off until a problem actually exists.

True enough. I was just mentally snarking about the discussion that happened there, and applied it to here when I noted Danny was a white Irishman surrounded by Mexicans.
