Detailed Description: The 2016 elections go to a new candidate, Alexsander Joseph, born in New York City. He is seen by some as a visionary, promising to restore the United States to it's former glory. But in 2018, things turn South, fast. Alexsander forces the United States to leave NATO, and recognizes himself as king of the United States. He abolishes Congress and the House of Justice, and most become uneasy, but let it happen. Most uneasily welcome the monarchy style rule, as America begins to enjoy more civil rights, and a better economy under his 2 year presidential term.
In 2019, AWOL Russian Soldiers land in various places in the Eastern United States. The 5 Star General of the United States Army (added because Alex felt one of the Generals was a mastermind) experiences the landing at his son's High School Soccer Game. Due to laws enacted by Alexsander in 2017, all American Military Personnel are allowed to be armed on school campuses, and Reserve Marines and Soldiers are assigned to defend schools. All public schools are defended by reserve Army or Marines, and money comes from the Obamacare slash, also done by Alexsander. (With budget cuts in places Alexsander feel are necessary due to "extensive purchasing", and getting military contracts cheaper, the military gets more budget.)
After experiencing the event of the soldiers landing on the soccer field, he draws his handgun, and along with the Marine Guard, slowly demands to learn their Identity. They simply state "America will fall" in English, and the two kill the five AWOL Russians. The General contacts the Russian Government, to learn that they have seen many disappear.
In 2020, Alexsander finds protests in New York City, regarding the soldiers being part of Alexsander's Personal Guard. He orders the soldiers to kill all protesters, an action the US Military is terrified about. Contacting NATO and Russia, the Generals of the Three Branches secretly plan a revolution.
In 2021, The Army General make a public speech about the revolution, to find many civilians ready for war.

I have heard it is a very nice vacation resort, lovely place, when it's politically stable (which, before this year, it was).

I think, at this point, the best solution is just to let Crimea be Crimea.

I doubt the government that will take over will be very nice; but I have the same doubts for Ukraine. And it seems that the majority of Crimeans want to be independent.

I'd say something against or for, but I've realised I actually don't have a serious opinion because I haven't studied the issue enough, nor the effects it'd have in other places. So I'll just shrug.
