The World of Order
1944, Berlin, The German Reich
The fall of the Reich was seen throughout Germany, as the Soviet Union and Allied Forces advanced into the heart of the Deutschland, cutting off German resources, and routing the Wehrmacht back and back further into their original borders. The situation looked hopeless, as Hitler and his cabinet were in Berlin and received reports of all the grim news on the front. But, there was a small spark of hope, that came from Dr. Josef Mengele. He had reported to Hitler, that he had created something, that could turn the tide of the war, and have the world exterminated to make re-colonization easier. Hitler then reported to Auschwitz weeks before it was overrun by advancing Soviet Troops.

Upon arrival, Mengele led Hitler and his staff into Auschwitz, down to a underground bunker where he was conducting his experiments. He had then told Hitler, he had created a pathogen, that could kill the human race as a whole, but if released in small quantities, it may be beneficial to the Nazi's. The staff had witnessed a disambiguated figure, that would eat human flesh, and some of the bodies would re-animate to form these things which Mengele coined, Zombies. Hitler was impressed with this, and wished to use this in some of his rockets to eliminate his enemies, so he ordered Mengele to begin producing more of this, as he would use this as his new Ultimate Weapon, which was coined "Operation EndsKrieg". Nearly a year in 1945, the war still continued to deteriorate, and Hitler grew more and more anxious to use his new weapon, which Mengele now had 10 vials of due to it being a tedious process to make. Hitler grew impatient, and ordered that the vials be inserted into his V-2 Rockets, and launched, which Mengele objected to, and in further protest, gathered some of his vials which at that time, he could only get three, and escape Germany. His whereabouts will not be found for years.
Rockets:
On March,15th, 1945, was the launching of the remaining 7 vials on London, Moscow, Paris, Rome, Bucharest, Sofia, and Belgrade. Before the launch was carried out, British SAS launched a air raid on the sites, accompanied by a task force on the ground, to stop the launch.The Rocket launch system was destroyed beyond repair, and with the increasing bombings and death rate among the Wehrmacht and SS soldiers, they soon retreated away from the site, leaving the virus, now dubbed DX-122 or the Blacklight Virus. British SAS managed to secure four out of the seven vials, as they had been destroyed along with the rockets during the bombing raid, and took them to a secret laboratory in Britain, to conduct experiments. The Americans, getting news about the British SAS raid on the rocket compound congratulated Britain on their efforts, but requested to find out what they retrieved from the site that the Nazi's were trying to launch at Capitals so bad.
Blackwatch:
Churchill and Roosevelt held a secret meeting, that allowed the vials to be given to the United States, and stored for further research purposes to try and develop something against this type of warfare, if it would ever happen and as Britain was damaged from all the bombings during WW2, it needed to spend efforts rebuilding while America could research the virus. Years of researched proved nothing, as the effects would still be a dead body re-animiting, and America in 1950 came up with the only solution they could come up with as a so called "Cure". They formed a new unit in the United States Military, called the 1st Biological Warfare Command. Which was tasked with the containment of biohazard/viral outbreaks. They are commonly referred to as Blackwatch Special Forces, despite their official name. Sometime during the Cold War, soviet spys managed to infiltrate a American facility that had a vile of the virus, and stole it for their own purposes. President Harry S. Truman, ordered that the virus supply be increased, stating that "If the Soviets have a tool of destruction worse then Nuclear Weapons, we must have more then them". This was mainly influenced by M.A.D. or Mutually Assured Destruction if the two ever went to war.
By 1962, it was estimated the Soviet Union had 60 vials, and America had 100. To turn up tension even more, Soviet Premier Leonid Brezhnev, sent 5 vials of the Virus to China, 3 to Cuba which was the real reason for the Cuban Missile Crisis, as they were going to release the Virus on American soil. The Americans, found it necessary to equip their allies with some of the Virus for defensive purposes, and sent France, and Britain 6 vials each to commence with their own program of how they wished to use the Virus to have a even chance to stop each other. In 1978, reports of Joseph Mengele, the original creator of the Virus had been spotted in Brazil, and he still had the vials of the Virus he took from Germany. This prompted the United States and the Soviet Union to send investigators to see if a side could find the vials before the other. Mengele's health had begun to downgrade, and he was unable to hold the vials in safety, so as a last Gesture, he hired trusted Couriers to send the vials to three different places. He sent one vile to Iran, due to the closeness that Hitler once shared with them, he sent the second one to India, but reports of the Courier being discovered and killed, that vial is determined to be held by the now known Al Queda group, the last vial was sent to Spain, as Germany shared good relation with them.
Joseph was arrested, but had died the next year, not providing any good information they could use, but while he was alive, he trained a secret group of Nazi Followers, which are called "The Fourth Reich", and operate in South America to try and bring back Hitlers dream. After the fall of the Soviet Union, the world fell into Chaos, as anarchy rose in the old Union, and with the mass stockpile of vials they had, many rebel groups and arms dealers were able to make large profits by trading them. It is now 2014 and the world is still at risk of a viral outbreak at any moment. Will it destroy all of humanity? Or can the governments, contain each outbreak that may occur.
Rules
Timescale:
Every day IRL is one week IC. This is to keep the RP flowing, and provides for laws and such to be drafted and put into effect. You are REQUIRED, to date your actions, so we can keep track of time.
Historical Accuracy:
What does this mean? We are following historical fiction, so everything historically happened in History, just added with a Secret Project that can be possed by many powers.
Waging War:
Any conflict that is started must be waged reasonably and realistically. Also be aware of the terrain you are invading as that is a determining factor in battles. Troop mobilization on a nationwide scale takes time as well, at the very least two weeks for the most advanced nations just in the home region.
Technology:
Understanding the limitations of your nation's technology is important. Soviet Union does not have spy-planes and has not yet found out how to properly land on another planet like the USA has. There are limitations for most countries as they are not as advanced as the Russian's or Americans or any real nation at that power. Just know what you can and cannot do.
Know How to Lose:
If you lose, say good game and go on. You can request to play as a revolutionary with new goals in the country you lost power in if you wish, just be realistic and don't go out there doing superman style politics/warfare.
Meta-Gaming:
What is meta-gaming? If something is talked about in OOC, for example a invasion plan for Afghanistan. I don't want someone going in there and placing troops in the way of the plan just from what they read in OOC.
Nuclear Warfare:
Nuclear Weapons usage are going to be a strict part of this RP as Fallout is not something nice and there are rules on how to properly use them and try and not be so-..ugh about it. Let us say two countries go to war, I don't want the two countries to as soon as they get into conflict, launch a nuclear missile at someone. If you are expecting to do that, this is not your RP. Now I will allow nuclear weapons to fly at times, but be aware of range and the possibility of it not making it to the target. Use it as sorta a "Last-Resort tactic". All Nuclear strikes must be pre-approved by me and made with legit reasons, even if you are bluffing the use just to get what you want.
Post Quality:
Please do not post one liners! two liners! or three liners! These posts can be so much better and it degrades the quality of the RP and your reputation when you make such small posts. Please step it up. As well, please don't gigantic (900 pixel) flags as well. Keep them to a modest size.
Zombie Outbreaks:
This will be the last point. Zombie Outbreaks will have to be realistically rp'd out, as even though I added the possibility of the outbreaks in the RP, I don't want just massive outbreaks at once, I want it to be able to evolve and spread. So for say, if you release a vial in a populated Area, I will be in charge of controlling how it spreads, and how many people are infected. You release, I control. That is how this will work.
